Joanna and Niko were wonderful hosts. The local recommendations of restaurants and what to do were wonderful. The house had everything we needed to cook meals and was in walking distance of a really good bakery. We also liked how it was centrally located for us - a 20 minute drive to Old Town and a 20 minute drive to the airport.

Thanks Hanne for having us. We had a lovely stay at the flat and enjoyed being so close to the beach and great restaurants. Hanne was also a very kind, welcoming and attentive host. We will be back! Joe

We loved our stay and would definitely stay again! The apartment looks just like the photos and is really well maintained and immaculately clean. Plus they’ve also thought of everything, it’s really well equipped. The location is great, just a couple of minutes walk to all the old town restaurants and bars. Plus the rooftop is a real sun trap in the afternoon, we loved hanging out by the pool.

We had a fantastic stay in Spiros’ place. Upon our arrival we received some welcome fruits and there was a choice of coffee to enjoy. Plenty of towels and bed linen, the bed was very comfortable including the pillows, the flat was very clean, the kitchen was great it had everything for cooking and when we needed something Spiros responded quickly and helped with a couple of things. We would not hesitate to return and stay longer (three of us stayed 6 nights). A great host with and a great place! Thank you!

Wonderful stay in Chania! Located in very nice area with great neighbors. Philip was very helpful and responsive, he waited for me during check in despite of my very late arrival. Philip’s place is well connected to old town with bus number 20, only 20 mins ride! If you are planning to visit Chania, this is the place you need to stay!

Truly a great apartment! Fully matched the listing. It is sparkling clean and everything has been thought of: tea, coffee, washing machine, you name it. It is in a quiet area, but at the bottom of the mountain there is a nice restaurant to enjoy the sunset. We had to mess with the jacuzzi for a while: it went on every hour in the middle of the night, but the host responded very quickly and was able to explain to us how we could solve this. We had a wonderful stay, I would recommend it to everyone.

First of all, I wanted to thank our host because the accommodation was amazing. Everything was really planned for our stay to be perfect, - a super clean apartment, - an incredible view of the pool and the sea in the distance, - a bottle of cold water to cool off when we arrive, - ice cubes, - appetizer cakes, - raki, I think it's the most beautiful accommodation we've had during our stay, I would recommend it 1000 times!

Perfect location in Chania, literally in the middle of the action of the old town. Every restaurant on our list was a short walk away. It was very easy to stop back at home to freshen up and go back out at any time. The house itself is meticulously renovated with a luxurious modern feel, yet still preserving the elements of the 500 year old history of the house. Three floors, two bedroom, 2.5 bathrooms. There are four outdoor spaces if you include the ground floor patio which we enjoyed sitting and listening to the music of the bar next door. The hosts are very helpful and their family’s beach club is the nicest one on Paralia Agia Marina. We spent almost a full day there. We rented a car for two of our days to get to the beaches and Nancy showed us where to park for free for extended periods. You can park closer for a fee, and the pedestrian street is open to cars early in the morning so I was able to drive right up to the door to load out. I would definitely stay there again.

Our stay went very well in Filothei's apartment which welcomed us very well. The accommodation is very well equipped. Located 8 km from the old town of Hania. Easy for parking. Proximity to all amenities.

We had a wonderful time at Aggeliki’s home by the sea. With a beautiful, private location and comfy bed, we felt at ease from the moment we arrived. An extremely simple check in, directions of where to park our hire car, and support in booking taxi’s throughout our trip. The location is walkable (20 mins) to the rest of Chania, and we enjoyed exploring the Tanneries/ local neighbourhood.

The stay was very relaxed, no problems and the host responded very (very) quickly to all possible questions. There were three of us and we enjoyed it very much. There is a bedroom with beautiful sea views, 3 balconies (the main balcony is also with sea views) and you are relatively high above the settlement. Next door is a school with loud announcements that can be quite disturbing, but we were on the go every day anyway and didn't notice much of it. There is air conditioning in both bedrooms as well as in the living room, which makes a stay in midsummer much more pleasant. As long as you have a rental car, the location is totally fine, without the accommodation is a little further away from the city center (3 - 4 km). Nearby, however, there is a shopping facility that can be easily reached by car. We had a very nice stay and will be happy to come back!

The place was perfect! Beautiful apartment, it had all amenities and the pantry was stocked with stuff needed for cooking. I felt right at home, amazing hospitality. Very good value for money and easy parking. Highly recommended place if you’re ever in Chania.

Stayed in this small Airbnb for one night only, as a transition between a previous week-long rental and a flight back home. Loved the neighborhood, much quieter than the bustling and busy streets of old town Chania and yet very close. The room was simple, but very clean, nice bedding, excellent WC, bath and shower. Windows opened right onto a view of the Mediterranean, with a small restaurant balcony perched just by the water. Worth every penny, would stay again.

Mike was great from the start…we booked last minute and he texted me immediately. He made everything very easy and was extremely friendly when we got there to check in. He showed us everything about the apartment that we needed to know and gave us lots of tips on where to go to eat and to see the best sites. The rooftop space was beautiful and the apartment was very close to everything in the area… We were able to walk to everything! I would definitely recommend staying there… Thank you, Mike!

Beautifully decorated suite that had everything you could wish for. Spacious terrace with shade when needed. We wished we could have stayed longer. Helpful recommendations. Bed very comfortable. Lots of nice treats that were much appreciated.

Great stay, great location, great views. Very close to many bars and restaurants. Not too noisy at night. The only slightly negative aspect was the shower. Basically made the entire floor flooded. Overall, i would recommend the place and would definitely return.

Hidden gem! Loved this home, literally two minute walk to Golden Beach. Katerina is so sweet (she met us in-person, had local restaurant recommendations, and even provided a bottle of wine). The home was perfect for our group of 6 (great value for the money, too). Would 100% come again!

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. I think it was the perfect location just outside the old town - very easy to walk into old town or along the marinas to many restaurants and shops yet also easy access for tours and outings outside the city. I loved Crete and would recommend this Airbnb to others. Some of the restaurants we enjoyed in the area (easily walkable from the apartment) include Maiami, El Gato, and SALIS. We also enjoyed a cooking lesson, snorkeling boat trip, and olive oil tasting.

Beautiful place and great host

Andreas was a friendly and responsive host who answered our questions promptly. The flat was well equipped and in an excellent location very close to the old town. We would definitely stay again when next back in Chania!
