Two additional floor mattresses are in the loft (accessed by ladder) An inverter ensures your lights and internet won't go out loadshedding, new kitchen, new bathroom , quality bedding, superb mattress, toys, trampoline and swings, it's all about priorities, and here the priority is beach living and restful nights. Small is beautiful!

Limited electricity in each cabin, supplied 100% from solar energy. The cabins share a bathroom - a bath only. The bathroom may be shared with other guests during peak season. This vintage forest cabin is perched above our pristine mountain stream, set amidst a highly diverse indigenous botanical forest wetland.The cabin is entirely private with a large deck and extensive views of both mountain peaks. Hand built by owner over a period of two years, with hardwood floors throughout, hand waxed with beeswax polish from our own hives. Guests enjoy their own private access along their secluded forest path. A vintage Nestor Martin canon style wood stove will restore you.

Enjoy both the wild ocean, scenic hiking trails and the splendor of what Plett has to offer all within a 10km radius.

"Bird Song" private getaway, tucked away in nature

"Bird Song" is named after the host of bird calls that greet you each morning (and the night jars that you hear after dark). It is the perfect 'private bush camp' for a ‘family-of-4’ vacation or for a secluded ‘get-away-from-it-all retreat’ for couples. The architect designed timber structure is set on a slope with views through and over the fynbos and right at the edge of pristine Indigenous Forest. A wood fired fireplace ensures you are (relatively) warm in winter.

Bella Manga is a guest farm with Self catering and B&B options. The large guest lounge is a beautiful communal space with a fully equipped kitchen, indoor fire and outdoor firepit with barbecue facilities. We have two large swimming pools, beautiful gardens and is set on 40Ha of farmland. Guests are welcome to use and explore most spaces.

Soak up the peace and quietness while enjoying the true beauty that nature has to offer. The cabin was completed just before the lockdown. The building of the cabin was started by my husband and completed only 2 years later in remembrance of him.
