I had a fantastic New Year in a beautiful Nordic family home. Jön's accommodation was beautiful and a wonderful resting place. It was fantastic to stay here in Iceland.

We enjoyed our stay at the lovely house. Our highlight was for sure the lovely living area with its huge windows to watch the ocean and the arriving planes as well as fabulous whirlpool :)

Great home! Very stylish and comfortable. We felt very at home here. The hot tub was a great place to relax at the end of the day.

Great communication, beautiful home. We had everything we needed. Views were amazing. Close to lots of stores and restaurants. Klara was a gracious host, very accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We plan to come back in the summer next year and will stay here again. Lovely house in a great location. Parking space available right in front of the house and getting in and out was very easy. Great communication from the owner. The house is well stocked, especially the kitchen so you have everything you need to stay as a big family. Fantastic views of Reykjavik while sitting in the Hot Pot... We were extremely comfortable and had a wonderful stay.

This house is the cleanest and most comfortable we've stayed in Iceland, maybe even during all our trips through Airbnb. Go there without so much as a second thought!!

Unnur's house was absolutely beautiful! Clean, peaceful, and lots of space. Great location as well! The home was exactly as described and photographed. Unnur was exceptionally responsive, accommodating, and very helpful. We highly recommend this Airbnb for a lovely stay just outside of downtown Reykjavik.

We stayed wishing to catch the Northern Lights and we were lucky enough to do so each night and be there for a huge solar storm. We ventured out the first night and after that realized we were able to stay comfy at our airbnb and see them both in the front yard and backyard. The house was spacious and our children 7 & 1 loved the books and toys available. We were offered a portable crib and high chair which were convenient. There were plenty of novels for adults and a variety of books on Iceland. There is a washer and large drying rack, dishwasher, and full kitchen which was wonderful since it is a serene spot you can relax and not run down the road 15 minutes for food or coffee. I enjoyed walking the road to the church and admiring the horses next door. The location is remote and going to parks or the city required an hour drive. Our host was gracious and extended our check out which was helpful. Thank you for your hospitality.

The location of the Airbnb was in a quiet neighborhood and very clear instructions on how to get there. Check in process was easy and the place was very clean! Great space and had everything we needed for a few days. Highly recommend!

Jóhann was very responsive, made sure our stay was going well and even gave us directions to two grocery stores that were close to the house. Location was great, easy to get to and only about a 15 min drive into Reykjavik. There were 10 of us staying here and we had plenty of room, house was spacious and clean. I would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Gilsi and Johanna were exceptional hosts - very responsive and welcoming. Their home is beautiful and well situated in a quiet neighborhood that is easily accessible to Reykjavik and the amazing sites that Iceland has to offer. The house is perfect for families with young children and our group (4 adults and 5 kids) had everything we needed and then some! One thing to note - there is only one bathroom with a shower and tub, the other being a half bath. It didn't impact our trip greatly but may be an important thing to note if you need more shower facilities for your group.

The house and host were wonderful from start to finish. We loved our stay and time in Iceland and it was the perfect base. Location brilliant with a car. Owner was very responsive and always available on message. Didnt hear anything from the neighbour who lives in an apartment within the property all week. Christmas decorations all over the house and a Christmas tree made us feel at home over the festive period. There's a great open space behind the house that we used for sledging. The laundry room was a godsend for drying outdoor wear. Highly recommend

Jon’s place is so tasteful, so nice and clean and beautiful AND central — just 10 minutes from downtown and all kinda of desirable destinations. Also, he was extremely helpful and kind and communicative.

Host is friendly and welcoming, providing extra information about local amenities. Kitchen is well equipped, bedrooms are comfortable, bathroom has both tub and shower, which is great!

Jennifer was a great host, very clear instructions were given, the place was heated and has one parking spot and just outside the city and centrally located. Will highly recommend the place for a family of four.

We very much enjoyed our stay here! It was great home base for our day trips. The Airbnb had everything we needed as well. Olafur was very helpful and responsive. There were also more toys here for the kids than we’ve had at any other Airbnb which was perfect for keeping the kids busy. Would definitely stay here again.
