I booked this house for my sisters who were coming down for the holidays, and it was absolutely perfect! Spacious, homey, and beautifully decorated — exactly like the pictures, if not better. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, with easy access to shops and restaurants. The host was fantastic: responsive, quick to answer any questions, and made sure everything was just right for their stay. My sisters didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend this place especially for a group!

Such a stunning property, exactly as pictured. Ian was such a warm and welcoming host. The house had everything we needed for cooking and for a very comfortable stay. The wood burning stove kept the main area warm and cozy. Would highly recommend staying here, we hope to visit again.

Guinea Fowl House was over and above our expectations. It has a rustic African feel and is extremely private and peaceful. Kylie and David are great host, making us feel very welcome. On the very few occasions we had to ask them anything, they responded straight away. Noordhoek is a brilliant and safe area, and the village is a short walk away, with lots to do and places to eat. Overall, we would happily return and would highly recommend Guinea Fowl House.

I absolutely loved my time at this garden cottage. It was everything I needed for the Easter break and my dog had such a fun time sniffing about all the flowers. It had everything I needed inside it as well.

Welcoming, beautifully decorated, and paeceful. Fully equiped with everything I needed; truly a home from home. My host was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning here!

Beautiful place in a great location!

Rainer is very warm, hospitable and nice! We enjoyed the garden and pool everyday and Rainer let us even use his washing machine! The garden, pool and neighbourhood are beautiful!

Beautiful home with a stunning view. We loved the proximity to the ocean and enjoyed the exclusive location uphill in Scarborough at the same timd. The house has everything we needed for our stay with 3 kids and 2 babies, with lots of extras upon request. The sunsets on the deck were just amazing and the kids loved the pool area. The communication with Tom and Anne was super quick and super easy and they were exceptionally helpful. We would definitely recommend this house to large families and/or group of friends. Just keep in mind that the walls/floors are not as soundproof as in Germany.

Firstly, what a view! Probably one of the best in South Africa! During both night and day. The hosts were friendly and helpful and responsive. All my needs were met, bet was comfy and so was the massive beanbag. Fishhoek beach was a stroll away and so was Kalkbay central in the other direction. Highly recommended if you want a super chill place to stay. Did I mention the view?!

Perfect location if you wish to be in Seapoint. Easy access to shopping, restaurants, and the promenade.

We had a magical few days for a long weekend at Sue’s place. The house is perfectly situated, right on the beach, with the soothing sound of the waves as a constant background. The house is really well equipped with everything you need: a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds with good linen, plenty of comfy couches and lovely outdoor seating too. And the most beautiful views from the deck. Can’t wait to visit again. Thanks Sue.

Second time we have used this property. Jasmina is incredibly welcoming and responsive and she made sure we had a great experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable and well located stay with a top tier host. Will certainly return.

I loved the house …. Was very grateful to get a greeting the second I landed as was traveling alone … was met by very friendly Roscoe who went to get fire starters and for me late at night so I could light a fire …… and warm the house up … The house is airy light and super comfortable .. was great to get a mid week cleaning service … Modesta was warm friendly and spruced the place up nicely … I loved the area of Kommetjie .. it feels like a very cool laid back surfy town … exactly what I thought and hoped it’d be. Thanks v much to the team of communicators who kept in touch with me throughout my stay.

I had a great time at Diane's place, she and Ivan were really kind and funny. The place is really close to the beach, it is literally 2min to the long beach surfspot! Only downer was the constructions going on next door, they are really noisy (which isn't the hosts fault ofc) but if you are looking to work at the place bring some noise canceling headphones 😁

We had a wonderful stay! Gaby was incredibly welcoming and attentive, and communication was top-notch. The place was spotless and beautifully decorated with attention to detail. It had all the amenities we could have wished for, and we loved meeting their adorable dog. Highly recommend staying here!
