Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Kodiak Island

Wonderful stay at a beautiful property! The hosts were very kind and helpful….couldn’t ask for better hospitality. Comfortable and cozy room with amazing views. We even saw whales and sea lions right from our bedroom window. We loved our stay and would highly recommend.

Majestic Bear is all it says it is. The house is 1/2 of the building overall, but you never hear anyone else on that other half. The kitchen is nice. The living room is roomy and the 75" (or maybe 85") TV is awesome. There are a LOT of windows offering many angled views of the harbor, birds, mountains and water. The couch was "melt into me" comfortable...just very relaxing. The Skylink Internet was amazingly fast (300M/20M) and I had no problem doing Zoom Video calls while the wife streamed NetFlix. The gas heat was warm and perfect. Quiet is an understatement. Its a easy walk to downtown where everything is right there in Kodiak. Blanka was very attentive and we did not need much in terms of help. She covered things well. We would love to come back with our kids and grand kids next time.

So lovely with an amazing views and great set up with all the amenities you need to be very comfortable a a peaceful place with sea otters on occasion right out front and also close to town too! We are so happy with choosing Okiyo’s place highly recommend it and would absolutely choose it again in a heartbeat!

Perfect home away from home! Lots of kitchen counter space for meal prep. Large dining table makes it enjoyable to have family over for a meal. Love the deck, use of a gas grill, and Brian dropped off several camp chairs to lounge in on sunny afternoons. Next to the park makes it a perfect choice if you have kids or grandkids. This location is close to everything, but far enough from the main road you don't hear any traffic at night. Neighborhood is so quiet & peaceful. Always love to stay here!

Blanka is an amazing host super friendly and when I needed to find something, she was quit to respond and made sure I felt right at home clean bathrooms the coffee stand was my favorite thank you Blanka for the stay hope to stay agin soon!

My family and I had a wonderful time in Kodiak at John's place. There were 11 of us and everyone had a comfortable bed or futon to sleep on. We were there for my 30th high school reuion and it couldn't have been more perfect! Thank you again for sharing your awesome house:) Samantha Buell

We had the best time at Daniel’s place! The kitchen was well stocked, back deck was wonderful to enjoy in the morning & evening, bathrooms/bedrooms were spotless. Everyone kept commenting on how well stocked the place was. Beauitful view too! I would not hesitate to stay here again. Until next time!

This place was perfect for our family that consisted of adults and kids. Very kid friendly! We loved the set up and outdoor activities for everyone. Fred Meyer close by with access to everything. Lovely setting in the woods. Thanks for a great experience for our whole family!

Cute little place to land after some adventures in Kodiak. I was there for only a day for a job interview and a little sightseeing. It had all the things one would need, warmed up pretty quickly with the heater, and was cozy when it warmed up. With that being said, I would not hesitate to stay there again.

From being flexible with our delayed arrival time of the ferry to finding a walk-in clinic for me when I needed to see a doc, and making a parking spot available for our rental car, Brian went above my expectations of an airBnB host. Definitely an excellent place to stay!
