Main floor bedroom has a queen bed. The "Nest" on the second floor houses a queen bed and 3 singles. All Nova Form Mattresses. The kitchen space saver stairs lead to a lower loft with a twin bed and an upper loft with a queen bed. Kuerig K-cups, Drip Coffee. The kitchen is stocked with cooking utensils and dishes. Bathroom has a unique shower, stocked with shampoo and body wash. Plush towels provided. Community laundry at the front of the unit. There is an upright freezer to accommodate!

This recently remodeled cabin has a full kitchen, bathroom with shower, a queen bed on the main level, and 4 single beds in the loft along with a front porch to relax on and watch the wildlife. There is also a laundry available in the Wash House. Located in the heart of moose country, you'll have plenty of opportunity to see the moose, wild turkeys, sandhill cranes and other wildlife. It's only a short and beautiful 1.7 mile walk to the Kenai Peninsula Fair Grounds.

Ocean bluff property with a magnificent view of the Cook Inlet. Eagles fly the bluff providing excellent photos. Moose roam in and out of the property. Located conveniently between Soldotna and Homer AK. Approximately 40 miles north to Soldotna and 40 Miles South to Homer. Kasilof River is 24 miles, Ninilchik River is 1 mile, Deep Creek Recreational and tractor boat launch 4 miles and Ninilchick is 1 mile. Multiple local fishing charters for halibut and salmon. Volcano views.

Historic Russian Cabin With Ocean Views

The hand hewn log cabin was built in the late 1800's by Russian settlers and is located in the historic native/Russian settlement of Ninilchik. (An idyllic village that sits on the Cook Inlet, through which the lovely winding Ninilchik River runs.) 180 mile drive from anchorage and only 35 miles from famous Homer, Alaska on the Kachemak bay. You will have total privacy but if you need anything im a 5 minute walk down the road and always reachable by phone.

The round house was great! Peaceful and rustic. Not for everyone but was perfect for me. Dean was a great host had fun chatting with him and touring his property. Lots of history at this place and I will stay again when I’m in the area. Thanks for the hospitality Dean!

The view of the river is a lot better than what is advertised in the photos. The pantry is stocked with a lot of side dishes, canned veggies, Mac and cheese. There are lots of seasonings for cooking. The property is very private. We saw lots of eagles from the porch. The house has lots of space. I think it’s one of the most affordable air bnb in ninilchik with 2 bathrooms and washer/dryer.

Bill’s description of his home was spot on absolutely beautiful. We did not see the mysterious moose, however. His recommendations for local guides for halibut fishing were great as we went home with our limit of halibut. The advice given for restaurants was helpful and we certainly made good use of his suggestions. We had one issue of parking when there was a wedding at the location but the manager was quick to respond and remedy the situation. We had no further issues and thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon!!
