Beachfront holiday rentals in Kodiak Island

Very Nice appartement. Great view, we saw a lot of eagels. Location is good and the hosts are friendly an helpfull. Very Nice they offer a rentalcar as well.

I am writing this review based on the expectations and the location it is in. keep in mind there are many things you will have to do on your own as it says in her listing. I also have a remote property on airbnb. I understand the challenges with the understanding from my clients of what they are from my clients of what they are getting into. for where you are this is an for where you are this is an amazing opportunity to explore the remoteness of this beautiful place. they make it easy as long as you follow the directions provided. I would highly recommend this to those inclined to appreciate this sort of rustic experience.

We had a fantastic stay on Whale Island and spent most of our 4 days with hiking, lying on the beach and observing sea otters and birds. Kat was herself present at the other cabin and made us feel very welcome. She is really a great host and also helped us with getting to the island, after our initial plan to cone via floatplane didn‘t work due to the weather conditions on the arrival day. Thereafter we enjoyed only sunshine and even had a swim in the cold Pacific.

The view from this house is gorgeous and it is so peaceful. The decks are amazing to look over the cliff at the ocean. The kitchen is amazing. We had a private chef come with us to cook for up to 10 people at a time and she LOVES that kitchen. The bedrooms are all cozy and comfortable. Everyone loves the library so much and the living room area is perfect for being comfy in pjs and hanging out on the couch. I am so grateful the host allows pets, as they are crucial for our group's purpose.

We stayed at Whale Island cabins for a deer hunting trip and we loved every minute of it! What a wonderful location and amazing cabins. To be able to come back from backcountry hunting and cozy up by the wood stove and cook a meal in a proper kitchen was just amazing. Our group will definitely be coming back again!

Wonderful place and location. Scenery is perfect. Initially other tenants were problematic however the host dealt with the issue immediately and it was solved. Would stay again.

So lovely with an amazing views and great set up with all the amenities you need to be very comfortable a a peaceful place with sea otters on occasion right out front and also close to town too! We are so happy with choosing Okiyo’s place highly recommend it and would absolutely choose it again in a heartbeat!

This place was perfect for our family that consisted of adults and kids. Very kid friendly! We loved the set up and outdoor activities for everyone. Fred Meyer close by with access to everything. Lovely setting in the woods. Thanks for a great experience for our whole family!

From being flexible with our delayed arrival time of the ferry to finding a walk-in clinic for me when I needed to see a doc, and making a parking spot available for our rental car, Brian went above my expectations of an airBnB host. Definitely an excellent place to stay!
