Holiday rentals with a kayak in Knox County

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. The view is to die for, nature is abundant, the house is clean and spacious and flows perfectly. It is equipped with everything you need to be comfortable and cozy, it feels like home! We love it so much we have extended our stay. A hidden gem! Tina and her family are amazing hosts.

We absolutely loved our stay at Lupine Landing. It was wonderful to be right on the water, especially with access to a beach and kayaks. The house was perfect for the two of us and our small dog, and had everything we needed: pantry staples, beach towels, sunscreen. The bathrooms seemed to have been recently updated which was also a great surprise. We would definitely recommend staying here and look forward to our next trip to LDI!

This is a small cottage right ON the “Old Harbor” in Vinalhaven. The view from the deck is just stunning. We had everything we needed, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was clean and comfortable. We would definitely come back!

The location was perfect for exploring the area and we enjoyed walking into Camden. We self-catered for a lot of meals even though there were plenty of restaurants nearby. We loved the assortment of board games on-site. Carrie was extremely helpful when our plane was delayed. We would definitely recommend Carrie’s place.

We really enjoyed our stay at Penny’s house! The barn is absolutely beautiful. Please be aware that this is not a private home, even though it’s listed as such. Penny is clear in the description that she lives on the ground floor, and the kitchen and living room are shared spaces. That being said, if that’s what you’re expecting, this is a charming stay and a great base point for exploring the area. Our dog had an absolute blast playing in the yard and we deeply appreciated Penny’s hospitality.

Beautiful decorations very appropriate to the area with incredible attention to detail. Absolutely everything we needed with a fully stocked kitchen especially appreciated. The central location makes for a perfect home base to explore the Camden and surrounding areas, restaurants, shops and activities. We’ll be back!

Overall, Deb's place is very nice and served well as a home away from home. It was the best Airbnb that I've ever rented. The neighborhood is quiet and the road that runs by the house has little traffic (it's a dead-end). The kitchen was well stocked with appliances. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious. It takes 10 min to get to downtown Camden. On the downside, the furnace had just broken before we got there and so it got a little cool. Further, we could not get the jacuzzi to work and the flooring is a little beat up. But, the positives drastically outweighed the negatives.

This is our second stay here and it was wonderful. You can get to places for sightseeing like Acadia, Camden, Rockport but once you are at the house, you are far from the bustle. The lake is so peaceful, clean and quiet.

We’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnbs across the country and I’m not exaggerating when I say that Lydia’s place was one of the cleanest and most well-maintained homes that we’ve been in. The property and scenery are breathtaking. The numbers of birds and chipmunks that entertained us while we sat on the back deck was surprising. We ate all of our meals with the exception of lunches at the cabin and had everything we needed to prep and cook our food. This trip was all about relaxing and Lydia’s home was everything we needed.

Janine’s place was beyond what I expected! The space is much bigger than the photos show and the surrounding area is so quiet and peaceful but close enough to surrounding towns & trails. My husband and I stayed here with a couple friends for a wedding and we had such a lovely time kayaking, reading by the lake, and making breakfast each morning. Would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay on Hobbs Pond, it felt like the classic Maine camp experience but with all the modern amenities. It is a great property for families or smaller group getaways. We loved the dock, deck, and kayaking on the pond, the house is comfortable and beautifully decorated. The general location is great for exploring all the Camden - Rockport - Rockland area has to offer. We also made it up to Belfast at Young's and down to MCLoon's for some amazing lobster! Would highly recommend!

Our stay was perfect at this little cottage, the house is adorable and cozy with everything you could need for a vacation. The area is beautiful! The leaves were just beginning to turn which made the yard and fire pit perfect for enjoying the cool evenings. The guidebook had perfect recommendations for things to see in the area nearby and we definitely want to visit again soon!

Unique and peaceful stay. Laurence sent plenty of information ahead of time to help make our stay pleasant and responded quickly when we had a few questions. The property was as advertised and made for a memorable adventure for our family.

Beautiful RUSTIC cabin right beside the lake, super peaceful area with lots to explore. The cabin is filled with lots of neat memorabilia from the old summer camp that used to inhabit the land. We stayed in mid October and it was starting to get pretty chilly (space heater only, building is not insulated) This is one step above glamping so be prepared.

This property was one of the best property we have stayed at very clean , organized, if you would need it its there. Very peaceful wonderful docks to go kyacking on and fishing . I would highly recommend renting one of these cabins this summer you will not be disappointed! Thank you for an amazing stay!

We had such an incredible time staying ay Jennifers. The cabin was so cozy, its truly is a Maine family summer cabin, you can feel all fun and good times that have been had there. It was perfectly accommodating given its rustic feel. The beach and surrounding woods are gorgeous and peaceful. We swam off the rocks every day and loved taking the paths between the cabins. And it is a perfect location between Blue Hill and Stonington, with the little enclave of Deer Isle down the road. But if we weren't so keen on exploring the Island, we would've never left the property. Truly a gem, we hope to be back!

Amazing place to stay. The lake was beautiful. So many awesome places to sit and relax. Cabin was quaint but had everything needed. We rarely spend time at our airbnb (prefer to go adventure) but we chose to spend a whole day there canoeing and relaxing as it was so amazing.

We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin is right on the lake and we enjoyed swimming, kayaking, making a campfire in the firepit, and listening to loons. The location feels peaceful and quiet, and at the same time, Lincolnville and Camden/Rockport are close by. We appreciated that the kitchen is well-stocked and the beds are comfortable. Nicole was very responsive. We would definitely stay again!
