A 25 minute trail leads to a large secluded pond, perfect for a refreshing swim. Braeburn feels like a treehouse, with expansive windows, overlooking woods and wildlife. After a hike, grilling on the porch or dinner out, indulge in your private therapeutic year round hot tub.

Our serene cottage sits on 16 private acres on the north end of Greenland Cove in Muscongus Bay. A short walk will get you to the ocean to swim off the rocks, stroll on our fern covered paths and take in the breathtaking views of the cove and nearby estuary and salt pond. There is a large amount of bird and sea life, including bald eagles, blue heron, osprey, seals and plenty of fish. 15 minutes to town. Feel the magic in this quiet secluded hillside retreat. Awaken your senses with the smell of the salt air, pines and an occasional whiff of coffee beans roasting all while watching the ferry go back and forth to Ilesboro. Early risers will enjoy spectacular sunrises. Experience nature without being too far off the beaten path. A private half mile walk down the driveway will end at brick sidewalks leading you to Lincolnville Beach, one of Maine's stretches of sandy shoreline.

The "Crystal Palace"

The "Crystal Palace" is a small semi-detached cottage connected by a bridge to the main house on our property. The property sits on 10 acres of land at the foot of Mt. Battie and there are hiking opportunities right out the back door. The kitchenette has cooking facilities available to cook breakfast and the occasional meal. (No dishwasher) There is a queen bed in the bedroom and a fold out bed in the living room, but it is definitely a one bedroom dwelling.

This guest suite is located in the lower level of our NetZero post & beam home which sits on a mountain overlooking the Penobscot Bay. The over 600 sq. ft. large open floor plan is spacious & clean with a large private patio. The location is quiet and peaceful while only 5 minutes from the action in downtown Rockland and only 15 minutes from Camden. This is a great home base to explore all that the Midcoast area has to offer.
