Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Knox County

We had such a good time! Lots of space, kid friendly, well equipped kitchen, beautiful location by the water. Host communication was great. Hope to stay again sometime!

Despite rain everyday, we enjoyed our stay very much. We are 3 women in our 60's and appreciated having our own rooms. We were out alot, but always felt comfortable when we returned. The home is so close to Rockland and the wonderful restaurants. We are sure if the weather was better, we would have enjoyed the water view so much more. Was skeptical about cleanliness due to the fact that animals are allowed. But to our surprise, the home was extremely clean. Would never know animals had been inside. And for those traveling with animals, there is a very nice fenced area for your pet. We traveled to Maine for a Celebration of Life for a family member. The home is located right next to a cemetery, but found that ironically comforting as our Family name was featured on one of the primary headstones. And, on the day of the Celebration, we were visited by a red cardinal sitting on the rail of the deck. It didn't linger long, long enough for each of us to see it. Would stay here again!!

This was one of best AirBnB experiences any of us had ever had! The house is adorable and sparkling clean. We had thoughtful and attentive hosts in a beautiful town in a beautiful state. On one of the best nights of our stay we cooked in using a remarkably well equipped kitchen, ate dinner in the lovely yard at the picnic table and sat by the fire pit talking into the night, firewood provided by Tammie. It was a magical. We would come back in a heartbeat.

Enjoyed a 5 day stay in Owls Head . Our hosts thought of everything … from a picnic cooler to ice packs readied in the freezer . A binder full of recommendations as well.

5 Stars – Wonderful Stay! Treetop Vista was an absolute delight! The home’s layout is perfectly designed to maximize the stunning views, making it easy to relax and take in the natural beauty. Everything was spotless. Gretchen and Mark were exceptional hosts, incredibly kind and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Treetop Vista to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. We hope to return soon!

Very responsive, helpful host. House is well-cared for. Bedrooms/beds are very comfortable; bedding was clean and also comfortable. Dining room holds 8 comfortably. Kitchen stove is remarkable, and the kitchen space easily accommodates two people cooking and another preparing drinks, helping, or just hanging out. Nice neighborhood and easy walk to downtown. Photos on listing are accurate. Highly recommend!

A beautiful stand-alone building in a beautiful property. Walk to Oyster River in the winter was amazingly invigorating. The house is deceivingly huge, charming and well equipped. Just outside of Thomaston, it feels secluded and very peaceful

This house is remarkably beautiful and welcoming. The walls of windows welcome sunshine throughout and the private views of the water are unmatched. Artistic details abound in the interior - like Anthro and West Elm had a baby. We vacationed with our toddler and my in-laws and we all had ample space to gather, as well as disperse. Highly recommend! Local recs: The Activity Shop for kayak rental delivery, pizza from Blaze, coffee from Bucklyn, brunch at Humblebee Cafe, sundries from Blue Hill Co-op, blueberry pie from Mount Desserts (on way to Acadia).

Laura and Dana were very lovely and their place was beautiful. My family and I enjoyed our stay. They were very responsive and their home was extremely clean. Thank you again 🙂

Can’t believe how we stumbled into our stay with Lori and Steven and found two new friends that we hope to see again. They both are very kind, you will have everything you need, and we just clicked at once! Perfect Airbnb experience and location to explore mid Maine. It’s so comfortable there and they knew so much about the area. It was hard to leave but we’ll hopefully be able to see them again!

Our stay this year was just as delightful and comfortable as it was a year ago. The house is a beautifully preserved 19th century captain’s house with attractive furnishings and pictures, and plenty of room for the four of us. The kitchen is well laid out and superbly equipped. George is an attentive and friendly host; we appreciated that he made a special effort to meet us and we enjoyed our conversation with him.

We had a very wonderful stay in Camden!! The apartment was spacious and had everything you needed. Very kind hosts and lovely area🩷💛🧡

Nice place to stay for a short weekend visit. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was cold and rainy when we stayed, and the heating system worked very well, which I appreciated!

This adorable addition to the family’s quaint farmhouse was cozy, warm and immaculately clean. Every detail was spot on. Kitchen was fully functional, as if you were in your own home. Luxurious linens and towels. Bed was very comfortable. Met all of our expectations and more! Beautiful property and close to Camden Harbour.

Abby’s place is in a peaceful wooded coastal setting and in a great location for exploring the mid-Maine and Rockland areas. We felt right at home with everything we needed, even for steaming a few lobsters fresh off the boat at Owls Head Lobster. The bed was super cozy and comfortable. The view of bay gave us some wonderful sunrises. There was lots to see and do in Rockland, Tomaston, and Camden which are all nearby. We highly recommend staying at Abby’s place.

A beautiful rustic cabin in an amazing spot. Lori is a great host and is always near in her farmhouse to communicate and get you what you need. Appleton is not far from Camden / Rockland but has that rustic getaway feel. The option of adding a wonderful soak in the hot tub, wood fired sauna, massage and breakfast are available as well. I’ll be back next year! Thank you for everything, Lori!

Connor was an AMAZING host! From the very beginning, he was always very responsive, and was consistently available to answer my questions promptly. His cabin on the lake was so cozy, it truly felt like our home away from home. It was beautifully decorated, peaceful, serene, well-stocked with anything that one could need. His recommendations were extensive and were very much appreciated. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and really loved being able to stay there with friends for a few days before departing for another excursion. It gave us time to celebrate and make some great memories with them - something that we will always treasure! The worst thing about this cabin? - Having to leave it in the rearview mirror! Masha's oasis cabin was just what we needed this weekend. It was so peaceful and private. No lights- just stars, no wifi- just connecting with each other. Masha was such a thoughtful host as well and made sure to check in with us to make sure we didn't need anything else. The cabin is also about an hour and a half from Acadia which makes for the perfect day trip!

Spent a relaxing long weekend at the cabin. Idyllic location right on the water with plenty to do outside. We enjoyed making fires, fishing, and exploring in the canoe. Inside, the cabin was thoughtfully decorated and very comfortable. Camden is nearby for a nice dinner or a stroll and shopping downtown. Acadia is also close enough for a day trip. Checkin/checkout was very straightforward, and the host was helpful and quick to answer any questions. Hope to visit again!

The cabin was great!! Very homey and spotless!!! We cooked breakfast just about every morning!! Perfect simple dishes and utensils to use!!! Place is very centrally located along the coast. Nice lil Shops and restaurants around!! Another plus was the cable tv!!

This was a truly magical stay! Peaceful, private, comfortable… The most well thought out and welcoming off-grid lodging I’ve ever stayed in! The cabin itself is spectacular and the surrounding garden and forest are just enchanted. Rod was an incredible host, responsive and so accommodating when I needed to shift my reservation. I would stay there again in a heartbeat! Don’t even hesitate on this one!

Cabin is a rare find in New England since it was modern, pet friendly and secluded with its own hiking trail connected to a charming farm. The furniture, decor and lighting delivered an amazing glamping experience. But above that, host was sensational with local recommendations and exceeded all expectations to make our stay pleasant.

We had a wonderful stay at Claire’s tideside. The scenery at her property is stunning. We had an awesome lobster boil with the fresh lobsters Claire dropped off. She was so friendly and we enjoyed talking with her. She is quite informative of the whole area.
