Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Knaresborough

We went to York for a creative retreat and the house was the perfect backdrop for firing up creativity and imaginative whilst having lots of space to relax in the evenings. Everything was as listed, clean and homely, and any questions were answered promptly. We'd love to stay again!

A lovely cottage in a lovely town. Super comfortable beds and a great shower. Well equipped kitchen and the garden overlooking the river was a delight….very friendly neighbours, too! We would definitely stay again. Ten out of ten.

Just a fabulous home & lovely hosts who replied very quick. The whole place was spotless & presented very well. Flowers & chocolates on our arrival which was lovely. Milk, teabags & coffee machine waiting for us. The beds were super comfy, we both slept so well & better than in our own beds! Lovely white cotton bedding soft & firm pillows to choose from. White fluffy towels too. Lots of cleaning products to use. Having Netflix was a great addition. Location was great & it really was a 15 min stroll into the fabulous town. Mucky duck pub 3 minute walk & was such a lovely place to eat & they were so friendly too. Asda was 10 min walk which was very handy, as we passed it when we walked back from town. We had such hot weather & messaged before hand to see if they had fans which they didn’t. So we were glad we took our fans to keep us cool. I do think it would be an added bonus to have a fan there though. As it was very hot upstairs. It was a heatwave, so it was expected! 🥵

Our stay was perfect. The house was immaculate and just what we needed. loved everything about it. Would definitely stay again if we come back up to Harrogate. Could not have been better.

We loved The Cow Shed. Just off the A1 so really convenient for our trip to Bramham. Although the A1 was very near We couldn't hear the traffic when inside the house. We had two large dogs who were able to stretch out and there was a track to walk them down safely for exercise. There was everything we needed in terms of accommodation and it had tasteful decor and was nice and clean.

Superbly equipped and maintained house. Cleaned impeccably, lots of information available about the house and local area & surroundings. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending the stay. Special mention for the beds which were super comfy. Lovely welcome pack on arrival too which was gratefully received!

Amazingly peaceful location to relax which is why I have stayed a few times before. Judith and Simon make you very welcome without being intrusive at all. Penny the dog is so friendly and loves to say hello. The house is spotless and the bed so comfy.

Katie’s cottage was in a great location, very close to the station, Salt Mills galleries, lovely pub, lovely park and shops and restaurants all easily walkable. The cottage itself was very interesting in a historic sense, but comfortably and conveniently modernised. Both beds (including chair bed) were comfortable. The kitchen facilities were very good. Check-in was straightforward. Peaceful historic location in the heart of Saltaire.

Comfortable, spacious maisonette with small car parking space. Perfect for 2 people, with local amenities, restaurants and mainline station 5 minutes walk. (Handy for catching the train to Headingley cricket ground!) Wendy met us upon arrival, welcoming us in, even though we'd arrived much sooner than anticipated. Lovely host, ensuring that we had all we needed before leaving us to settle in. Thank you for a lovely stay, Wendy!

We had a great week in this flat and would definitely return , Pubs & restaurants on your doorstep and a great balcony to sit out on and watch the world go by. Also Nick our host is a nice guy .

Lovely stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Very warm and friendly welcome from the hosts, Suzanne and Ian who were there to meet me and explained how everything worked. Welcome pack a nice bonus and very much appreciated after a long drive. Flat was beautiful, light and airy but at the same time, homely and welcoming. Very peaceful location and felt very safe there, something very important to me as a female guest staying on my own. Great communication and the few queries I had during my stay were answered very quickly. Local shop within walking distance for anything you might need and a coffee shop which looked very inviting and a must try venue for next time. All-in-all, a wonderfully relaxing stay.

Lovely place, everything you could want. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, soft fluffy towels, great balcony. Really appreciated the milk,tea and coffee and cooking oil etc. Nicely laid out apartment with some personlised paintings on the walls We really enjoyed our stay would highly recommend.

A charming well appointed little apartment. It was beautifully clean and tidy. If Main Street Haworth is your focus it’s quite a steep walk to get there but worth it. Having free parking so close is a real bonus. Dealing with Ruth was easy and she was very accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

WOW....what a place! Just returned from a lovely weekend in this beautiful cottage and courtyard. We have never stayed in a place so clean and pristine. Felt right at home straight away. Full of beautiful furniture and items. I didn't want to leave. Would highly recommend***** Perfect location for beautiful Ripon, pubs, restaurants, Fountains Abbey and surrounding areas. Can't not fault it, we will hopefully be back one day 🙏🏼

A perfect home from home - everything has been thought about what you could need. Perfect location, very close to bus routes into York but so peaceful to come back to after a busy day exploring. Great to have some basic provisions provided - the lemon cake gets a special mention, Jill was very kind to make it dairy free for my wife, extra delicious. A great place to stay and highly recommend!

The basement apartment was as described - spacious, clean and well equipped, in a peaceful suburban location. It was good to have space on the drive to park the car; checking in was straightforward. We appreciated the comfortable beds after exploring the local area during the day. And there's a fine selection of restaurants. Tom was quick to respond. A great place to stay!

If I could give this place 6 stars I would. I really loved it, and my husband had to tear me away when it was time to leave! Such a beautiful little place - perfect for a peaceful break for a family of 3. Handy for Leeds and York.

Jo’s apartment is well-located and very private. It had everything you need for a comfortable stay and is an easy walk into the centre of town - in fact I walked with luggage from the train station! There was some noise from foot traffic in the apartment above, but this didn’t disturb my sleep. Bed was very comfortable. I really appreciated the washing machine, plentiful supply of laundry detergent, drying rack, and sunny front courtyard (which was perfect for drying). Recommended.

Great location quiet, easy to get to. We stopped just 1 night so didn’t use anything in the kitchen but it had all you would need. Plenty big enough for 2 people with really comfy bed and large bathroom with walk in shower . Would definitely stay there again

We had a fabulous weekend away with our 2 small doggies at Sophie’s place. The home was beautifully presented, and perfectly clean - both making us feel instantly welcome. The enclosed yard-style garden was great for the dogs as it allowed total privacy. With the patio doors open they could pop in and out as they pleased and there was no foot traffic past to disturb them. The kitchen was well stocked - we didn’t end up cooking as there was lots of lovely places to eat out but with plenty of cooking utensils/pots and pans ect, we easily could have done. The bed was super comfortable! Lovely fresh white bedding and clean towels provided. We enjoyed the use of the coffee machine and the ‘wonky pods’ menu was great to have a change of coffee option each day. A wonderful stay, would definitely be checking if this was available again if we were looking for a place nearby! I can see why other guests have stayed multiple times! Thanks Sophie!

We had a fantastic 4 day visit to the beautiful city of York based on Jenny's well located listing. Very rare spot at the center of it all, with large, excellent, Marks and Spencer grocers right out the front door. All the excitement of adjacent narrow passage ways through the Shambles. One of the best parts of being so close was the easy ability to wander through in the morning hours, before the other many tourists visiting York begin to crowd in. Comfortable flat, super-friendly and communicative host.

We’ve just had a beautiful stay after a family day at flamingoland. The annexe is spotless, well decorated and very spacious. The photos don’t do it justice. Felt at home straight away, and I was able to get a pizza delivered for the kids. The girls really loved the piano, garden, games, and bunk bed. Wouldn’t hesitate to return. Thank you for having us :)

Perfect location for a couple of nights in Harrogate. Wonderful apartment, very tastefully done. Rachael was very responsive and gave plenty of clear instructions. Couldn’t fault it!
