Beach house holiday rentals in Kitsilano Beach

I don't think the pictures and descriptions really accurately describe this home. I've never had a more peaceful location, especially in a big city! I could just sit on the deck and watch the ocean view for days. All you hear is the creek that runs through the property, no traffic just peaceful. The bed was amazing like a high end hotel. If you like breweries there's about 10 great brew houses within just a few block area, just a short drive or bus ride away. Oh and if you want to go downtown Vancouver the bus from there goes right downtown, no transfers needed super simple.

cozy home and location can’t be beat! we loved that it was so close to parks, beach, shopping and easy access to stanley park! host was very friendly and check out was easy!

Truly wonderful place to stay for a few days in Vancouver! Beautiful view of a lively beach scene, nice walking trails and short 15m commute to downtown for sight-seeing and dining. The house is very comfortable and just as beautiful as the photos. The location is incredible - amazing views of the water, mountains, and big ships passing. It was so lovely to be able to just walk across the street and be on the beach with long walks possible in either direction. It was also really convenient for groceries and restaurants along 4th Ave, and an easy 15 minute drive to downtown and Stanley Island. We loved Vancouver and our stay in this beautiful home!

Great and friendly hosts - was really kind with instructions, lending umbrella when it was raining and battery pack for dying phone which was handy when you’re out all day! Room was clean and tidy. There are dogs so if you have an allergy (which I do) just be mindful - my allergies acted up slightly. Overall great host, great location and felt right at home. Safe to walk around and get to central Vancouver via transit.

Senay was very quick to respond to any questions I had which I really liked. The place was exactly as described. When I had thought I would have a private bathroom , which was my mistake, senay offered a full refund if I wanted to cancel. I did not cancel. I think the value was great for what you get. Small room nothing fancy but clean and convenient.

My cousin and I had a lovely visit at Linling’s place. The view is as promised and we found it a bit mesmerizing day or night to watch the boats on the bay—either sitting outside or from the apartment. The beds were very comfortable. I don’t normally rent basement apartments on AirbNb but I have no regrets about taking a chance on this one. We had complete privacy, lots of light (the entire wall facing the water is windows), and barely heard muffled footsteps more than once or twice. The location is super convenient to Horseshoe Bay, Lighthouse Park, and the neighborhoods in West Vancouver with great food options. Parking is easy. I even walked down to the Bay a couple of mornings (I don’t mind hills). I highly recommend. The owner is very responsive and a great communicator.

The place was beautiful and even better than the photos. Bigger than it looks. Everything was well stocked and pristine, but also felt homey and welcoming. The host was excellent: treats were left on the table, she gave us some fresh milk, and she readily worked with our slight schedule change at the last minute. She was easy to communicate with. Instructions were very clear and we had no hiccups with the place at all. Will 100% be trying to stay here every time we’re in Vancouver.

We loved the great location and easy walk to Granville Island. The well stocked kitchen allowed us to make the most of our food finds at Granville Market. The sky lights in the home make it very bright and welcoming. We hope to come back soon.

Anthony’s place was perfect for our needs. Easy to park outside, easy to access public transport, and in a private and quiet little home. Anthony was helpful with suggestions and we loved the cinnamon rolls from Grounds for Coffee, a short walk away . The kitchen is well supplied with essentials and a few extras. The beds were comfortable and it was great having an extra bathroom downstairs with the three of us . We can highly recommend staying here and will recommend it to our family and friends .

Super location - walkable to all services with trails literally on the property doorstep. House was very clean, well appointed and super comfortable with lots of places to lounge inside and out. Michelle and her husband were very friendly and excellent communicators.

Such a special location -- a great starting point for exploring all of Vancouver. The SeaBus terminal is only a short walk away, which puts you downtown Vancouver, and being in North vancouver was great for outside of the city explorations. The place is cozy and thoughtful and Claire was very responsive with answers to our questions and suggestions. It took us a little while to get used to the floating component, so if you are easily seasick this might not be the place for you.

Having moved from the UK, my partner and I had a perfect stay here for our first 4 weeks in Canada - Laura and Nick were fantastic, friendly (and responsive!) hosts and the apartment was exactly what we needed. The place was very clean on arrival and was kitted out with everything we needed to live there comfortably. The living area is spacious (we were both WfH during our stay) and the patio/garden is super nice and quiet. Would highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at Christina’s place! The home was clean and very well-kept, with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Christina was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. The space itself is lovely, inviting, nicely decorated, and in a great location. The view from the living room is incredible and the sauna is a wonderful bonus. One of the most thoughtful touches was how welcoming it was for our friend’s dog, who came along. Christina even left a few dog-friendly extras that made a big difference. We’d absolutely love to stay here again. Highly recommend!

Fabulous location a few minutes away from the beach and a lot of small restaurants with a convenient corner store a few metres away. Despite its liveliness, the neighbourhood is essentially residential and quiet. Easy to access the whole city on foot, by bus, water taxi and Uber. The beach house is funky and quaint, clean and very well equipped. I especially appreciated using the espresso machine in the morning. The porch is pleasant to sit on. Be aware, however, that there is only one bathroom and it is on the ground floor while the 2 bedrooms are on the 2d floor. The stairs are steep so resolutely not for anyone with mobility issues. Furthermore while the master bedroom is large with a comfortable king size bed, the other bedroom is tiny with a twin size bed and the window overlooks the staircase. Fortunately a real window face the “fake” window and provides some fresh air but it can feel a bit stuffy. We had one issue during our stay which the host solved efficiently.

Pictures couldn't possibly capture how well appointed and perfectly situated this place is- 5 stars!!! You can sit with a coffee on the beautiful deck listening to the birds and watching the boats pass up and down Howe Sound while snow capped coastal mountains frame the posrcard backdrop, amazing! The suite has everything you need and is well laid out with impressive attention to the details: Comfy bed, proper linens, fluffy towels, premium soaps etc. We walked down to the village and it's a 30 minute peacefull walk down the road. Highly reccomened!

Penny's house in the west Vancouver area was a great place for our family vacation. It is easily walkable to many parks and the sea. The house has everything you would need to cook and a large kitchen. There are instructions on how to use many of the houses amenities. Overall it was a great place.

This charming little house is in a great location - close to plenty of restaurants, parks, shops, groceries, etc. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and we enjoyed sitting on the front porch. We would definitely stay here again.

Exactly as advertised and a great place to stay with two small kids. We were in walking distance to parks, beach and lots of great places to eat. What really stood out was how great of a host Davis was! He was friendly, responsive and we even forgot a kids toy after our stay and he sent it back to us very quickly. Would for sure stay here again!

Katie's home was beautiful, it's perfectly nestled in Kitsilano with a private driveway and beautiful surroundings. Very walkable to the beach and 2 4th St. Everything is carefully curated inside the house with a wonderful living space , bedrooms, and bathrooms. she has thought of everything!She was so responsive and give us great local recommendations. My wife and I and two kids really enjoyed staying here. We would definitely stay here again.
