Exceeded our expectations!

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The house was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location was great and made getting around easy and convenient. My host was friendly, responsive, and made sure I felt welcome from the moment I arrived. I really appreciated the attention to detail and thoughtful touches throughout the home. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for a great experience!

My family and I really enjoyed staying here. Everything was supper clean, lots of utensils in the kitchen for us to cook and comfy beds to sleep in. Jennifer was very quick to respond to my messages and very friendly.

I stayed in this beautiful seaside apartment for two nights and had a wonderful experience! The view of the sea was absolutely stunning — the perfect place to relax and unwind. The apartment was very clean, well-furnished, and had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked great. The area was quiet and peaceful, and the host was kind and responsive. I highly recommend this place and would definitely love to come back!

Excellent stay! Like every time I go. It was nice to see these beautiful places again in the summer. Everything is always very good and clean. Then I thank them again for being flexible with the arrival time. Sometimes a little awkward, such as with the reception of the owners before even entering the premises or meeting them regularly. But they are there if there is anything at least.

We had a wonderful stay at Matt’s lakefront cottage! The view was absolutely stunning, perfect for relaxing mornings and peaceful evenings. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, both indoors and outdoors. We especially enjoyed the outdoor BBQ, cozy campfire area, and kayaking right from the shore. Inside, the entertainment options kept us just as happy, and the kitchen was a real highlight with modern appliances and even a water filter (such a thoughtful touch). This place truly has it all. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a scenic, comfortable, and well-equipped getaway!

This home was beautiful! It was perfect for our team away day. The location was perfect, the home was cozy and Danielle was always available to answer our questions.

We stayed for one night but would have loved to stay longer! The views were spectacular from all three floors. The house was clean, comfortable, and luxurious. There was plenty of room for the eight of us, with many separate, open areas so that we never felt crowded or cramped. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need, and there was plenty of room to cook a big meal and share it together in the dining area. The coffee was excellent, but unfortunately there was only enough coffee provided for one small pot. Tip: if you can’t find the entry code or the wifi password in the app in English-language instructions, look in the French instructions. That’s what we had to do to find them. Coffee and in-app instructions aside, we completely enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return again in the future.

Excellent place to stay in New Waterford before riding the Cabot Trail. Pool is heated and views are great. About 5 mins from town but most restaurants deliver - and the new pizza and bakery place is great. Karri & Corri were very responsive and had the place ready within 24hrs notice.

Manon's ancestral residence is really good, comfortable, clean, tastefully decorated. Manon is an attentive and pleasant host. The location of the house makes it easy to crisscross the area. We enjoyed our stay at Manon's.

JP was very friendly and we enjoyed the animals.

This was a truly fabulous place -- my only regret was not staying longer. We found this listing after planning a trip to Five Islands Provincial Park, as part of a larger road trip around Nova Scotia. Had we known just how wonderful and peaceful the property and area were, we would have stayed longer and used the spot as a bit of a "home base" to do some more exploring around the region. The house is beautiful, and Jennifer and Barclay are really working to create a wonderful small vacation community, with a few other rental units on the property. Jennifer warmly welcomed us on arrival and gave us some local recommendations. The Five Islands Lighthouse Park, which is a 5-minute walk from the unit, is a fabulous place to watch the tide go in and out, and the surrounding residential community feels very warm and welcoming.

Peaceful and lovely house, the views from the balcony were beautiful. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Nanaimo.

Our family of 5 plus our dog enjoyed our stay at Oceanside Escapes. Johanna and Julie were readily available to answer any questions that we had before and during our stay. The cabin was well-supplied and had a binder listing many local recommendations. It was a short walk to Rathtrevor Beach which we all enjoyed, particularly our dog. All essential amenities and many attractions were nearby. The central air conditioner was especially helpful in keeping the whole cabin cool during the hotter days. We will be back.

Gorgeous home. A really comfortable, liveable, well laid out place. Clean and uncluttered. Ben was great to communicate with. We liked the peaceful, remote location. It’s near Panmure Beach which was nice. Didn’t try the kayaks the way our trip played out but the bay would be a gorgeous place to explore on a calm day. Great sunsets on the deck across the bay. Note that it’s pretty far from everything. Just under an hour to Greenwich Dunes or Charlottetown. But the remote location has its own charms. And Montague town nearby has basics like groceries, pharmacy (and walk-in clinic should you need it), liquor store etc. The house next door is close-ish but not too close. We like privacy and didn’t bother us. On the other side there is a house under construction but it looks like they have stopped building and we didn’t see any activity there when we were there. Could be something to ask about before booking though. All in all a fantastic stay. We would come back.

We had a lovely weekend get away stay. The dome had all the necessities as well as a sauna. Lots of wildlife too.

Unique place to stay. From first impressions to details. Great amenities. Tasteful decor. Great design idea, between purism, Japanese elegance and Loft style. For us the best accommodation on our round trip through Camada...

Absolutely gorgeous property! The pictures don’t do it enough justice. Hosts have thought of everything, so much attention to detail. It was a true luxury experience. Favourite airbnb to date. We were all sad to leave. Thanks for providing such a wonderful place and memory!

Pictures couldn't possibly capture how well appointed and perfectly situated this place is- 5 stars!!! You can sit with a coffee on the beautiful deck listening to the birds and watching the boats pass up and down Howe Sound while snow capped coastal mountains frame the posrcard backdrop, amazing! The suite has everything you need and is well laid out with impressive attention to the details: Comfy bed, proper linens, fluffy towels, premium soaps etc. We walked down to the village and it's a 30 minute peacefull walk down the road. Highly reccomened!

Highly recommend. Absolutely pristine property which is exactly as pictured. Monica is an extremely responsive and friendly host. The attention to detail in the Puffin Perch is amazing. So well decorated.and all amenities you need. The kitchen is awesome and stocked with everything you need if you want to cook. Great views and a ni e private area in back with seating, a firepit and bbq. We spent 10 wonderful days there and were quite sad to leave. Dont hesitate to book if you want to tour the Avalon peninsula. Ten out of ten!!

What an absolute slice of heaven this place is! We travelled from NS with the entire family and made memories to last a life time. The house, the property, and the beach is picture perfect. Not to mention, the field of cows next door… AMAZING! The hosts are absolute gems and were extremely responsive and lovely to deal with. We are in the works of planning our 2026 summer trip back! 10/10 recommend to anyone and everyone. Thank you for sharing this piece of paradise with us, Ashley! 🤍

We had wonderful stay at Jesse’s cottage. the cottage is very nicely decorated and has everything you need. Towels, bedding, throws are all very nice. The separate sunroom was our favourite sitting place, such comfortable couches and chairs. Ocean views are incredible. Hot tub was very nice and easy way to end the day. Easy to get down to the beach and explore the cove. Every morning there were dozens of lobster boats going back and forth. Jesse was very quick to reply to all questions. The wifi was strong. Was remote enough for the peaceful environment we were e looking for. And there are two small towns 10 mins in either direction with everything you need. Looking forward to returning. Brett and Danielle
