Yummy Beach #3

AllisonRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Such a relaxing place to stay! A true beachcombers dream, the water is truly steps away from the back door. DJ and Karen have thought of everything, even offering kayak rentals on-site and excellent restaurant recommendations! The weekend was truly everything we needed and we look forward to coming back again in the future!

Olympic View Cottage by the Water

OliviaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Janice’s place was amazing! The view was beautiful, we only wished it rained a little less so we could sit outside and enjoy it. Her home was incredibly clean and had all the amenities we needed. Kitchen had all of the necessary cooking supplies - pots, pants, plates, utensils, etc. she also left some homemade granola and cookies for us- so delicious, thank you, Janice! There were extra blankets and an easy-to-use heating system for each room. Fast hot water! Bainbridge has a dial-a-ride sort of bus system, and the closest spot they could pick us up was at the top of the hill- about a five minute uphill walk. Something to keep in mind if you plan to use public transportation. It’s about a 10 minute drive to town. Driveway was a tad narrow with other vehicles to navigate around, so if you plan to bring more than one car or have a larger vehicle it might be a good idea to give Janice a heads up. I have a Honda CRV and was able to park just fine with ample room. We would stay again!

The Cottage at Wabi-Sabi

ShannonRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We had a very lovely stay at Brian’s cottage. It was tucked away within the trees and was very peaceful with a beautiful view. Everything was very clean and fully stocked with anything we might need. He left lots of information regarding restaurants and hiking near the area and also had lots of books and guides about Olympic National park which we took advantage of. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay and would definitely recommend.

NW Waterfront Honeymoon Cabin #3

AndrewRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My wife and I were looking for a peaceful weekend getaway as our kids were out of town. This looked like it would check off the boxes we were looking for. The space was just right for us. Waking up to the incredible beauty of hood canal, easy access to the water so we could drop our kayaks and go. Beautiful wildlife including many bald eagles, harbor seals, sea stars, sea cucumbers, octopus, oysters, clams, the list goes on. We cannot wait to come back!

Farm stay on Vashon Island

AbbyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The spot was perfect, quiet and comfortable. I stayed at the end of May, so the weather was lovely and the trees, grass, flowers and birds were all poppin off. The island of Vashon itself is beautiful and quaint, the perfect little getaway from mainland. Kathryn had personalized suggestions that I checked out, and even those places I’d give 5 Stars to as well. Would absolutely stay again. Note about the ferry: if you’re not used to island and ferry life, I’d suggest buffering your time well. Things happen and don’t always allow for things to go right on time. I was grateful to not be in a hurry to be anywhere, so the flexibility worked out well for me.

Wolf Den Cabin Forest Retreat + Wood-Fired Hot Tub

CobyRating, 5 stars2 days ago
The Wolf Den was a lovely little getaway and Dawn was a friendly, communicative host! Her homemade scones were a delicious surprise. Four stars for accessibility only because the place itself is a bit off the beaten path--nothing against the instructions, which helped us get there despite it being a little hard to find. The guest manual was helpful and well put together. The property is secluded and peaceful. Loved the hammock, just watch out for ants! All in all a great stay.

Bungalow @ Paradise Bay Getaway

MaryRating, 5 stars19 months ago
The cutest tiny house in a peaceful and beautiful setting. Everything inside was very thoughtfully designed to include everything you need without feeling cluttered. The Keurig was a great addition, full size fridge, spacious shower. Bed might be a bit on the short side for > 6' folks but mattress is very comfortable. A short drive to the closest restaurants. Great view of the Hood Canal and Mt Baker on a clear day right from the kitchen! No access to the water itself due to vegetation but the property is thoughtful and beautiful. Reasonable check-out requests with a cleaning fee included in the stay.

For the Traveler, the Adventure Seeker

RachelRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
As someone who enjoys being in nature, camping, and exploring new places, Sarah's place ticked all the boxes. It felt secluded and safe while being close to town and trails. The space is cozy, quiet, well-lit, with views of nature out every window, and I experienced the loft bed as supremely comfortable with linens that smelled like spring (shout out to Sarah for using non-toxic cleaning methods). This is a rustic island getaway with thoughtful amenities, and it kept me warm and snug during some strong seasonal wind and rain.

Cozy-Warm-Adorable Hobbit House -Bainbridge Island

JavierRating, 5 stars1 month ago
It was a pleasure staying at here! My wife and I cooked over the open fire, read to each other and discussed in length how Bilbo and Frodo were related. I actually left a Baggins family tree behind to pale in comparison to all the great art left by others. Thank you for the hospitality!

Charming and secluded Tiny House in the Forest

JennyRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Stacy truly has the coziest, homiest little place here. She was there to greet me when I showed up, and gave me a little tour of her place. It looks just like the pictures, and it was incredibly clean to boot. She has such a fun collection of books, CDs, and other little trinkets to look through, but there's also a smart TV and wifi available. :) Although the space is small, everything is so thoughtfully laid and designed, so I never felt cramped or claustrophobic. I just wish I could have stayed longer! Thank you for welcoming me into your space. :)

Tidy House in the Heart of Vashon

SelenaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I needed a small get away and Cedar’s little cottage was perfect! It was cozy, I was welcomed with birds singing, a parking spot directly next to the cottage and an easy check in process! Short driving distance from cafes, shops and good food! You could definitely walk too! I appreciate the google doc of recommendations of activities, food, beach and hiking that Cedar offered. I would definitely spend another night here in the future.

Lakefront Cabin with Hot Tub

JessieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This lake was beautiful. I love that there are no electric/gas motors on the lake. The hot tub was spectacular, the fire pit was great, and the kayaks were in great shape. We took them for a trip around the lake. The water is clear and you can see the bottom almost everywhere. The beds upstairs are so soft and the couch was comfy. Overall a great experience. I felt safe there and it was cozy. 10/10 I would go again.

Little Gemma: Dreamy Vashon Cabin

ChelseaRating, 5 stars1 day ago
This place is a perfect, whimsical stay to relax and spend quality time with yourself or a friend and/or partner. The small space is so quaint and well done. You feel right at home immediately. Tom is so kind, helpful, and responsive. The guide Tom sends in advance of your stay of things to do is a real gem and totally worth following. This spot is easy to find, and super close to town, but feels very private. If you are looking for some relaxation and whimsy, this place is a must stay.

Vashon Island Beach Cottage

BeckyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I really enjoyed my stay here . The hosts were super responsive and always very friendly. The space is very small in size but arranged so it isn’t a problem and lots of little nice touches through out. I didn’t use any of their extras but appreciated that they had an emergency toothbrush , hair gel, etc. the kitchen has what you need even if you want to cook a real meal. Don’t worry about the ferry bugging you, it’s surprisingly quiet at night and I didn’t notice it at all. Overall a great place at a pretty good price and I plan to rebook again in the future.
