I do not think there are enough words to describe how absolutely incredible Matthew's home is! Myself and 6 other girls spent the week here for a girls getaway and every single one of us could not stop 'oooo-ing & awwww'-ing' at every space. The home itself looks as if it came straight out of a novel but the property! Oh my gosh!!! Getting to be tucked away in the gorgeous scenic town of Kingston, while also not being too far from amazing restaurants and other amenities was pure perfection. We all took daily walks around the property and loved the high end retreat vibe that the home itself gives. We truly made some life long memories and cannot thank Matt enough for allowing us the opportunity to get to stay here. He was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our entire stay and we are all already talking about when we can come back; especially when the lavender field is in full bloom!! Thank you again, Matt!!

We loved every moment of our stay at Bob and Kath’s beautiful home! It’s a peaceful, quiet retreat with lovely surroundings and scenic trails that lead right down to the backwaters. Bob and Kath are warm, engaging hosts who made us feel truly welcome—wonderful to talk to and always happy to share local tips. Easily the best place to stay near Ludlow if you’re looking for comfort, nature, and genuine hospitality!

Katrin was the loveliest host. Her place felt like home, she put in the extra care for our pup, and even gave my partner a local immunity tea blend when she wasn’t feeling great. Super responsive, flexible, and overall just a wonderful person and family. Would love to return if and when we visit Vashon again!

Exactly what i needed. it was so quiet and out of the way, but close enough to the city for some adventures. and i was greeted by their sweet and playful puppy which was such a nice surprise! definitely a lovely getaway and location!

This was a spacious place where my family got some needed rest. It had everything we needed to decompress from the busy city life. Be prepared to buy groceries including water before arriving as a main store was at least 30 mins out. The one complaint was that the water had some sediment and owner said that this is normal; however, with kids with sensitive skins, we decided to have them shower only in the primary room to avoid complications. Even though it was an older home such as outdated bathrooms and decor (part homey, part beach and part cabin), it was comfortable. If you want to go to Seattle, the best way is to drive to Brainbridge and take the ferry.

We needed a place for employees working on a nine week project in the area and this was perfect. The host was very quick to respond - and so kind. The men that stayed were comfortable and slept well after long days at work. Would recommend.

Enjoyed my stay at Jeri Sada and John’s guest suite. The direct beach access is a highlight. A fun adventurous path leads down to a very peaceful and walkable beach with views of Seattle. The guest suite had everything I needed.

We loved our stay on the hood canal! Jacy should really highlight the screened porch more in the listing - it was our favorite place to spend our down time. If you plan to cook many meals during your stay, make sure to stock up on your way into town (including any favorite spices/sauces…). Grocery stores are a bit of a hike.

This is, by far, the most amazing Airbnb we've visited! the views were great and the amenities were fantastic. Everything you could possibly need was available and the hosts were very quick to respond. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and we look forward to booking here for our next stay on Whidbey Island!

Quilcene Lantern was the perfect stay. Very beautiful and peaceful property with goats roaming around, firepits at the barn and by your cabin, and great food and music at the barn. The cottage was very well kept and relaxing. Highly recommend!

Great stay! Had everything we needed. Check-in was simple as we were greeted at the road upon arrival. The firepit was really pleasant and all amenities were in good working order. The farm tour was very fun too. Thank you very much!

Very sweet place! The garden cabin was so cute, clean and cozy. There was music in the barn and a sweet little cafe stand. I would highly recommend this for your next stay.

We had a lovely stay at Cassandra and Eric's cottage. The space is cozy and bright. The location is very private and tranquil, well off the highway with numerous hikes close by. The view is truly the highlight. We were riveted by the nearby eagle activity! The beds are extremely comfortable and everyone slept well. Highly recommended!

Old friends from five states gathered here, and we felt so at home and appreciated the generous hospitality. Thank you!

How many stars are in the sky? Not enough for this absolutely memorable, tranquil, joyful one-night stay! We've never stayed on a farm before. It was tonic for the soul to pet the horses and the goats, to wander the pastures, give the dogs belly rubs, and take in the mountain views. Birdsong and garden flowers with your morning coffee. And those secret recipe, home-baked cookies! Still warm when we arrived....ahhhhh. A feeling of being absolutely welcomed! Paulette is so gracious and kind. We learned that she and Ron have worked hard for many decades to create this special place. We feel lucky to have experienced their hospitality for one perfect night. A wonderful and relaxing place to stay on Whidbey Island with a ton of space to host a large gathering of friends or family.

After a hectic time with Seattle traffic…Raspberry Ridge….was a wonderful respite….welcoming, quiet, peaceful, clean, beautiful view, most friendly dogs…. Beautiful garden with everything in bloom…..our private patio was heavenly Paulette made us feel right at home…. And the dog petting took away the stress! With a wonderful nights sleep we were able to reset and go on to husbands class reunion.

We had the best time at Blue Sky Farm! It was so quiet and peaceful there, and the front and back porches are such relaxing spots to enjoy coffee/drinks. Our daughters loved exploring and playing throughout the property, and the resident family of deer was a highlight. We've stayed at a few places on Vashon and this is one of the best locations because it feels far away from the busyness of town, but it's really only about a 7-minute drive to the Vashon town center. The house is well stocked and Tilda was a great host who clearly really cares about her guests' experience. We can't wait to stay again!
