A perfect cozy winter retreat, you are right on the low bank waterfront of a private lagoon, & the Hood Canal, surrounded by woods. Outdoor amenities abound, with a pickleball court, 2 paddleboards, rowboat, & firepits at the beach & lagoon. Enjoy a scenic 1 hour drive to Olympic National Park, or watch for porpoises, otters and the resident bald eagles from the couch.

McDonald Cove Cabin

The perfect retreat on beautiful Hood Canal. Rustic cabin is well-maintained and super cozy. Open concept for easy entertaining with glorious views of the water. Main floor bedroom with Queen bed plus open loft with Queen bed. The cabin has one bathroom opposite the downstairs bedroom. Great outdoor living with two decks; front deck facing the waterfront. Use stairs to access the beach and boat house which houses two single kayaks, one double kayak, life jackets, and beach chairs for guest use.

The Rockland Woods Lodge, Lake & Land

The Rockland Woods Lodge was originally built in 1973 and a 2018 rustic-modern remodel freshened up its charm. A relaxing 60-min Ferry Ride from Seattle gets you to a quiet, densely wooded 20-acre property overlooking Mission Lake and the Olympic Mtns. Biannually, we host 10-20 Artists-in-Residence at the property without charge. To support this primary mission, we rent to small groups for retreats, reunions, workshops, and weddings. Westside Cabin

Our place is just a few miles from the Fauntleroy/Vashon ferry terminal, and minutes from the town of Vashon. Tucked snuggly on the West side of the island, the cabin looks west over Colvos Passage. The cabin itself is essentially a spacious studio-- one large room with a loft, a small kitchen, and bathroom. A queen size bed is in the loft, and the couch comfortably sleeps one person. The bathroom has a large clawfoot soaking tub, and there is an outdoor shower. It is extremely cozy!

Linger Longer Cottage

At the Linger Longer Cottage you'll discover a really adorable, fully furnished 2 bedroom + loft (due to some safety issues, the loft is not available for use at this time), with easy beach access to enjoy the Hood Canal and Quilcene Bay all within minutes to enjoy the wonder of the Olympics. Just a walk around the owner's home provides direct beach access to beautiful Quilcene Bay on Hood Canal. A quarter of a mile south of here there is a boat launch. Come enjoy this gem today!

You approach The Nest along a secluded private lane to be welcomed by spectacular views of the Puget Sound, overlooking Fay Bainbridge beach. Nestled in the trees with just a handful of properties, this idyllic cottage is the perfect spot to relax and recharge. You’ll wake up to gorgeous views across the water to the sun rising over the Cascade mountains. Stroll down to the neaby beach , spotting wildlife along the way.
