Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Kinugawa River

The air bath was excellent. There’s nothing quite like bathing and showering in nature warmly and sanitarily. The house is creatively designed, using every nook well. I enjoyed experiencing natural light from unexpected places. It’s quite the contrast to Shibuya, which we wanted so we could sleep well. Yet, it is still surrounded by cool cultural and spiritual things from shops to food to Shinto shrines and sanctuaries. I would definitely stay again!

The tent sauna and BBQ were very nice. The house is beautiful and spacious. The location was also great right in front of the sea.There were not many people on the beach, so I had fireworks at night, watching the sunrise, and having the sea to myself. Regarding the tent sauna, it was raining until noon and you didn't install it, but you came to install it in the evening when the rain stopped. It was very helpful to be friendly.Thank you very much. I think it is very good for 6-8 people to travel.Would recommend, we will be back again.

Clean, affordable, and 20 min walk to any station

Access from Narita Airport was very convenient.There is a 24-hour convenience store nearby, about a 4-minute walk away.There is also a supermarket nearby, which was very helpful during my stay.There is also a duty-free drug store near Yahiro station, so shopping is convenient.Access to Shibuya is also good, and I think it is an ideal location for sightseeing. The room was clean and the large bed was very comfortable.I had a comfortable and lovely stay.Thank you!

Awesome place to stay! The balcony on the fourth floor was a perfect place to see the Skytree. We would highly recommend the stay to anyone wanting to be in the area.

The host was very helpful from booking to our arrival in Tokyo. She helped us with booking pick up and drop off vans which was a huge help since she got us a better deal than Uber or taxi. Her house was immaculate and so comfy. The house was located nearby subway station and 15 mins walk to an amazing shopping area. Even Don Quihote shop was so close. I recommend everyone going to go to this store rather than the one in Shibuya. We will definitely be staying here again when we come back to Tokyo.

This place is a gem in Nikko. Private onsen and open air bath were amazing! Nature around and birds singing create very calming atmosphere. Very clean, comfortable beds and futons, big kitchen and karaoke! Our stay was great, we hope to visit it again in the future

This is our second time staying at Shu/Zen House, and once again, it truly feels like a home away from home! Everything was just as great as before. The space is much more generous than a hotel room, and it’s conveniently located near great food spots and a nice supermarket. The host is, as always, very kind and responsive. We’ll definitely make this our top choice whenever we visit Tokyo!

Charming house very close to a train station, making it easy to tour Tokyo. It's a great value for larger families. Our host was very courteous and responsive. The house included a notebook with a guide on how to use most appliances and directions to local shops and restaurants. Pros: Spacious, very clean, quiet neighborhood, close to a train station, close to shops and restaurants, accommodates larger groups. Cons: The privacy screens between rooms don't block a lot of sound. Some bedrooms have very little storage space for luggage. Notes: The dryer is a hanging rod over the hot tub (bathtub) with a fan that blows hot air over clothes. It works but takes longer than a dedicated appliance. It can be tricky to shower without splashing water on drying clothes. Wet clothes can also be hung outside to dry. The sleeping mattresses are very firm, which appears to be the standard in Japan.

We had a great time and comfortable stay at Cheng's place. the location is amazing if you want to head to Aeon Laketown. the place was spacious and enough space for 2 families. thanks again.

My parents used to own a house in the same area, so I was able to immerse myself in the atmosphere of a beautiful wooden house similar to theirs, including the surrounding environment.The sauna was especially great, and I thought it was rare to find a place where you can enjoy the greenery of the forest and enter privately as much as you like.The BBQ stove was also easy to use.If you want to be healed by the quiet of the forest, this is the place to be.

very nice and quiet place to stay

An amazing house in a quiet neighbourhood they still had plenty of options nearby. We were very impressed with everything in the house, and we will absolutely stay there again! Close to a few different stations as well.

A group of 6 of us stayed for 5 nights. 4 adults and two small children. The Airbnb is spacious, immaculately clean and has lot of amenities supplied. The stairs were no issue at all, even for the children. Easy. Having two bathrooms and three toilets was great for our large group. The mattresses were so comfortable. Kitchen was stocked with cutlery, crockery and basic things like coffee etc. This was very much appreciated. 10 mins walking distance from two stations. And less than 15 mins walk to another station that goes to Tokyo station without needing to change lines. Super convenient. The Airbnb is in a peaceful residential area. There’s a street with conveniences stores and restaurants just a few minutes walk away. We felt very at home at loved this place. I would highly recommend it and would happily stay again

It was a place to stay with a beautiful view like no other.We had a relaxing stay while looking at the river flowing in front of us.It was a nice place to stay with a barbecue, an open-air bath, a large screen projector, and a nice balcony.

Thank you so much for your hospitality for 3 days!I had a full enough time for the BBQ, the open-air bath, the sauna, the dig, and the dinner time, even for two nights and three days. I would definitely recommend staying at least two nights to enjoy the abundance of activities! The cabin, full of Maru-chan's attention, had everything we needed, and we had a very comfortable stay. We'd love to stay again in another season next time😊

We had a great stay in Hokota. The house and location were fantastic. There was every appliance you could think of and the host was super helpful.

First of all, the entrance and interior were very good!The furnishings and furniture of the log house are unified, and the paintings also felt the owner's sense! Next, the sauna was the best!A barrel sauna where you can hear the birds chirping and the river babbling.A fluffy poncho, a white birch sauna aroma, and a sauna hat are all available, making it a space that sauna lovers will covet.The cold bath right after the sauna is also great.The view of the new green leaves in the early morning from the deck chair looking up at the greenery also enhanced the healing space!! At the night BBQ, we were able to enjoy the deliciousness of Nasu with the owner's recommended meat and sake.The choice of the ambassador of Nasu Town was the best! The gas grill was also a large, authentic one that could cook a lot of ingredients at once! Finally, the location was great, with Kogen Marche, Penny Lane, Safari Park, a famous soba restaurant, and a clear stream all within walking distance.
