Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Kessingland

I stayed here for 2 nights with my elderly Mum, which we both really enjoyed - the house could comfortably hold up to 5 guests. A great combination of modern comforts and original features, with everything you could need for your stay. We used it as a base to visit Southwold & Dunwich (about 25 mins away), taking in Aldeburgh en route. The garden was a lovely, peaceful spot to relax in in the early evening sun when we returned. Beccles is also a nice small town with a picturesque river. We didn’t go out in the evenings, but there were a few pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Christine was very communicative and responsive, even checking what type of milk and bread we would prefer and checking in with us after a huge storm - a great host. Thank you!

We stayed at 6 Blyth View for one week as a family and we throughly recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely getaway in a peaceful location. The cottage is part of a lovely estate in a very peaceful and thoughtfully designed setting with amazing grounds overlooking fields to the East so you can stunning sunset views. It’s a short drive from wonderful Southwold and several neighbouring villages with great pubs offering decent food options as well as lovely drives to explore the surrounding areas. The cottage is perfectly equipped with all facilities working perfectly, a very well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms offering plenty of storage space plus a perfect living room space and indoor and outdoor dining. Parking is situated close to the property. In addition, the (bookable timeslots) gym, swimming pool and games room were much fun and we very much enjoyed. Highly recommend this property and thank you to the attentive host for great support and communication when needed 🙏🏼

Welcoming light & airy place with tasteful décor, comfy bedding and very comfortable living room. Kitchen though small is incredibly well stocked, both with food (including pantry items and fresh treats provided in fridge) and tools for those that like cooking: we made the most of them! A real cooks' kitchen. Bathroom also has a you-don't-need-to-bring-it completeness. Enchanting garden with outdoor seating, & handsome hens(with delicious free eggs!) for added interest. Nice country walks, and Rebecca & Richard are delightfully friendly, generous, knowledgeable and helpful. A special nook of England!

This cottage is just so peaceful in beautiful surroundings. Within a short drive you can be in the Norfolk Broads or any of the local beaches, from Great Yarmouth down to Aldeburgh. For dog owners I would recommend Kessingland. It's just such a lovely stroll and surprisingly not busy. Dogs are welcome on the beach all year round here. Dave is a really friendly chap and I'm sure if we had had any problems at all with the cottage he would have been there to help out, but the cottage was faultless. Just a lovely quiet place, surrounded by fields. If we visit Suffolk again I will definitely see if this cottage is available. It's so relaxing here. What a hidden gem!

We had the most wonderful time staying at The Little Barn in Topcroft. It is a well kept and comfortable cottage, with all the amenities you could want. We loved the location as it is tucked out of the way of the busiest areas but still well connected to the coast and towns/cities for trips out. Hannah is a superb host who will go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and settled (providing us with some delicious home made apple juice too!). We will definitely be returning and would recommend!

Ross was v helpful and the location was perfect for the beach and zoo. The property worked out great for the dogs too. Cony sofas and decorated to a high standard.

We had the most lovely family holiday here. With a 3 and 1 year old this property had everything we needed to make us feel all feel right at home. A cot, high chair, bib, black out binds, you name it. The river and decking at the bottom of the garden was just so peaceful, our go to spot. We watched nesting swans and ducks, we all loved it. We booked Oak Barn to celebrate our Ruby Wedding Anniversary with all the family. We were blessed with a long weekend of beautiful weather. In fact it was so nice that we ate nearly all our meals al fresco in the garden which was fully enclosed meaning that our two dogs could wander in and out of the house. Rosie thoughtfully messaged us when we arrived to give us pointers on how to keep the house cool. The Barn is spacious and spotlessly clean with quality bed linen, towels and toiletries provided. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious. The layout in the house is perfect for extended or multigenerational families. It’s situated in a quiet country lane but within a few minutes you can be in Wroxham and the coast within half an hour. There was an excellent house manual with lots of suggestions for things to do but the weather was so warm that we tended to stay fairly local. All in all this was one of the best properties we have stayed in.

Excellent comfortable flat to stay in Norwich with parking. Great to do your own cooking in the full kitchen and use of washing machine. Definitely everything you need is provided, even breakfast provisions & laundry detergent. I found it easier to use the back entrance as just 1 door to get in but be aware that you have to go up a flight of stairs either way. Responsive hosts and I can't think of anything to improve the place. Easy to walk to local restaurants and into Norwich town centre. The bedroom is quiet as it's not facing the main road. I stayed 4 nights and was very happy with my stay.

Southwold Rock is an airy, bright and comfortable apartment that is ideally located in the centre of Southwold. It's position means that a number of local walks can be made straight from the door. It also provides an Ideal touring base for visiting surrounding places of interest. There are many choices for eating as there are a number of pubs, restaurants and takeaways nearby. Alternatively, the apartment is equipped with everything needed to self cater. Although parking is not available at the apartment, there's street parking or surface car parks available close by. Peter in the shop below the apartment was very helpful in explaining the parking restrictions and options available after unpacking the car in an area close to the apartment entrance which may be accessed for a limited time at arrival and departure. We had a great stay at Southwold in Clare's apartment. We found it very comfortable and everything we needed had been provided. We recommend this property and Clare as a host

Absolutely fantastic weekend away , The apartment was as described and contained everything we needed plus more. Great location conveniently 5 minutes walk from the Beach and 10 minutes into town - along a beautiful Seaview promenade. I would certainly recommend the putting green cafe for breakfast , its the closest and the full English was on point. Great location for this flat, easy access. The owner gave us clear instructions of the place and everything that was needed, responded/communicated quickly when we texted. The flat has everything in it, from kitchen utensils to towels and very clean bedding. We loved our stay and we had a wonderful time in Southwold.

A lovely peaceful spot with pleasant village walk to the river from the door, as well as easy access to the main road. The accommodation was very comfortable with everything we needed and felt homely and clean. The riverside location was lovely, although rather more overgrown than shown on the pictures. Would definitely stay again.

A super apartment within easy walking distance of the train station, restaurants and all of the attraction Norwich has to offer. The apartment is really cosy with a very comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. Access is really secure and easy. Although I had no need for a parking space, this is a great service that the apartment offers. Highly recommended!

Great flat, location and host

Lovely compact room, well equipped & comfortable with some clever touches. Plenty of fans to cool room, nice kitchenette, microwave & toaster. Welcomed with milk in fridge, toasted teacakes & kitkats (handy as I’m diabetic. Property adjacent to Flixton aviation museum (one of my interests, coincidentally) and Flixton Buck pub (sadly closed relatively recently). Busy rural road on occasion but easy access to property. Would stay here again, sadly occasion was for my Mother’s funeral.

This was my first time using Airbnb. Marisol's place is like a home away from home. It's spacious, spotlessly clean, cosy, and modern. Highlights: - Well equipped kitchen - Comfy bed - Great shower with monsoon head - Fast BT Wi-Fi - Relaxing garden - Easy check-in - Helpful Tesco Express 3 minutes walk away. Negatives: - None! I wouldn't hesitate to book here again if I'm ever in Norwich, thanks Marisol!!

Had a lovely two night stay Annetta greated us and showed us around was very lovely, The place was beautiful and quite and very clean and had everything you needed and the hot tub was a added luxury, loved waking up and walking outside and seeing the horses. My partner feel in love with Daisey the cat she likes to come and greet u also 😀 We would definitely come and stay again 😀
