We had a lovely couple of nights here. James was great and responded quickly, the house was clean and felt like home, the beds were really comfy too! It’s a great location, the bar on site served delicious food and lots of places nearby to explore. We will be back!

Was perfect for what we needed park was nice and peaceful this time of year, caravan was lovely and clean, kitchen well stocked up with utensils pans etc there’s a onsite restaurant which is good reasonably priced food and drinks. Passes for park are £12 per person a week which you purchase extra as it’s a private listing , we used caravan while our house was being renovated so perfect local base for us, we have 2 dogs so this caravan is nicely placed out of main area so it’s peaceful no noise from people or cars going past to get home after entertainment etc, Definitely recommend to anyone we had no issues while we stayed so didn’t need to contact owner Thank you for letting us stay at your home

Very friendly and helpful host. We stayed in the accessible cottage and it is very well laid out for a wheelchair user. We will be returning very soon.

Booked the lodge as a surprise for my best friend’s 40th birthday. Four of us in total, that don’t get to see one another often; and everything about this experience made it so special. Selina was so accommodating and flexible to our individual needs; kindly letting 2 of us access the lodge ahead of check-in time, to set up birthday banners & afternoon tea (ordered from No. 142 Cafe in Oulton Broad). The entire stay exceeded all expectations! The photos don’t really do it justice. The lodge is stylish, comfortable, and spotless. The double bedroom boasts its own access onto the spacious veranda, and such a lovely marina location. A fab bar/restaurant onsite too, which we enjoyed the next day.

This was a great find for my family of four and our dog. We enjoyed the sunny balcony and patio in the morning and lots of nice touches, especially the handmade pottery. The house is very handy for the beach, Pleasure wood Hills and our favourite places in Corton and it has the added bonus of free use of the pool and a friendly restaurant/clubhouse where we went for coffee everyday. Great value!

Beautiful and peaceful space, perfect for a small group of friends. Clean rooms, comfy beds! Particularly love the garden and outdoor covered area. Would 100% recommend! Lisa was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions.

Great location - we visited Southwold, Aldeburgh and RSPB Minsmere. Kitchen had all the equipment needed to make an evening meal. The bread, milk and coffee left by Linda was much appreciated. I usually book somewhere with a separate living room area, whereas here it’s quite close to the bed. However, it was great to be able to use the outside space instead as we had nice summertime weather.

David was a very responsive host. The lodge was everything we were expecting. The garden was secluded and peaceful. Would recommend a stay at Lain Lodge.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gary's bungalow. The house was in a good location and we appreciated the parking space in front of the house. The house was clean and comfortable with good amenities. We also enjoyed the outdoor spaces and made the most of the garden seating. I would recommend a visit to Southwold during your stay, for a nice British seaside experience.

Cowslip Mead is a fantastic place to stay. Extremely comfortable and clean and furnished to a very high standard. Beautiful, quiet location which was a great base for visiting family. Sarah and Bob are very welcoming and helpful - we hope to stay again.

A lovely cosy and comfortable cottage, everything we needed. Appreciated the welcome hamper and little touches. The view was fabulous, enjoyed watching rabbits grazing on the lawn every evening and even had a visit from a mother and baby deer. Central for all the exploring of the broads we wanted to do and a relaxing place to come home to at the end of each day. Comfortable beds, lovely linen and soft towels. Everything we needed for a time out and renewing stay. Thank you.

We had a beautiful stay at Cobblestones Cottage. A cosy, comfortable and well equipped home. Local to all amenities. Durrant Holiday Cottages were very helpful and communicative.

a lovely location and property. Great it has a car charging point. Worked really well for our disabled friend. really well equipped, even included doves for cooking! brilliant utility / drying room. At checkin Caroline, the owner, was worried about car noise from the road, we weren't. it was not an issue for us and she says the road is soon to be closed from one end anyway. Lovely log burner, house got too warm!! All in all a lovely experience, would go again

We had a wonderful time at Emma’s place, the property was beautiful and in fact even better than the listing - the kitchen is done to a very high spec and was fantastic for our group. We thorough enjoyed our stay and it was made all the easier given the very responsive host and clear instructions, we were even lucky enough to be able to check in a little earlier than we thought which was a nice bonus. The location is very good, if you know Southwold you’ll know it can get so busy at times - the property is very close to the town centre but within minutes you’re back in the peace and quiet at the house. Ideal location for enjoying the town and even the harbour, a nice walk either way. The bathrooms have powerful hot showers which was also appreciated!

Beautifully Farmhouse with everything you need. Quality furnishings, linen etc. Extremely well equiped kitchen. There was even a playroom with toys which wasn't mentioned. Very safe enclosed garden for a two and five year old to play in. It might be worth mentioning that there were 5 beautiful large shower rooms but no actual bath. Didn't bother us, but maybe worth taking a small baby bath if you have a non standing infant. We had a fabulous stay. Great for an exstended family as there was plenty of space to share or be alone. We had a truly faultless stay – the barn had everything we could possibly need and more. The guide provided was incredibly helpful, with excellent local recommendations that made exploring the area easy and enjoyable. The location is stunning, with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. Emma gave us a warm welcome on arrival, and the welcome treats were a lovely touch. Our 19-month-old and dog were both really well catered for – the stair gates, toys, and secure private garden made a huge difference and helped us all relax. There’s a balcony overlooking the fields which both our child and dog loved looking out from. The fresh eggs from Emma’s chickens were a real highlight each morning. Every little detail was thoughtfully considered, making it a really enjoyable and comfortable stay. Emma has clearly put a lot of care into creating a fantastic experience for guests. We’d highly recommend staying here and would love to return in the future.

We had a lovely stay at Tom’s. It was a last minute trip for a little getaway reading retreat from the city and we had such a relaxing time. Tom was very responsive and gave us a great deal when we reached out to him. He was very accommodating and flexible with the booking dates and early check-in. The area is lovely, we went for a walk around the broads and caught a local speed boat competition which was fun to watch from The Commodore - great pub and outdoor space. The bedrooms were spacious and comfy - didn’t mind the noise too much. I stayed in the front bedroom and the noise from the main road didn’t bother my sleep at all. We cooked for every meal and the kitchen and dining space are so lovely, modern and clean. The house manual is super helpful for all appliances and getting comfortable in the house. Overall, great stay and would recommend!

The cottage was perfect, just as described, lovely and clean and very cosy. Really enjoyed our stay.
