Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Kerns

We loved the place ! We used it as our base to explore Switzerland with a eurail train pass, did day trips to Zurich, Basel, Geneva, Lauterbrunnen, Thun, Interlaken and Bern. Walkable distance from the train station, also a beautiful walk in a pretty village circled by mountains. The place was squeaky clean and had everything we needed. Very friendly host, was responsive and gave clear instructions. We even had a binder explaining how to use the ameneties and with local recommandations. Would go back if I was to travel to Switzerland again !

This place is amazing. The property is big with all the amenities and a great garden. The 3 bathrooms make the stay very convenient. It is located very close to the lake and lucerne city center. The owner, Giuseppe, is friendly, provided all needed instructions and set up the cot for us. There is also one parking spot available. Definitely a great stay in Lucerne.

Stayed for a week in May with our 3 teenage kids, the whole family enjoyed the breathtaking views, the traditional Swiss feel, lots of local adventures We will all miss the sounds of the cow bells 😍 already planning a winter trip back, Nicole was a wonderful host and we couldn’t have wished for more

Spending the night in the greenhouse turned out to be the perfect retreat from the stressful world of work. Emanuel's accommodation is equipped with everything and more that you need for your stay. I can only recommend the quiet location, the great view and the unique experience of staying in a greenhouse to anyone who wants to escape from everyday life or simply wants a quiet time. We will be happy to come back!

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. Stephen was very responsive and was quick to help us with a family emergency that we had. The accomodations of the home was exactly as desribed. The washer, dryer and all of the amenities were easy to use. We enjoyed how quiet the neighborhood was while still being close to restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend this place. Stephen was an excellent host.

The stay at Ida's went well. The accommodation is clean and perfect for up to two people. Ida is a responsive person by message and remains available at all times to answer our questions. The accommodation is in a fairly quiet place not far from the village.

What a great stay, will return. Very functional and cosy home with incredible (even for Switzerland) views. Hostess Susanne was very helpful and very responsive and the house was perfectly set-up, well-stocked kitchen, everything we needed. The beds were also very comfortable and the duvets and pillows were lovely. Recommended.

My wife and I couldn’t believe what we were seeing as we drove up —absolutely stunning views that set the perfect tone for our stay. The drive to the home alone is worth mentioning, with breathtaking scenery all along the way. As soon as we walked in, we were immediately impressed by how spotless everything was, and the view from inside the home was just as incredible. The space has a modern cabin feel that was cozy and stylish. It’s incredibly peaceful, making it the perfect place to truly disconnect and unwind. Everything was comfortable and well-maintained; we didn’t have any issues during our stay. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and made it clear they were available if we needed anything, which made us feel even more at ease. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat with access to nature, there are some great hiking and biking trails nearby. We highly recommend this place and would definitely come back! Could not believe the view of the mountain, fabulous. This was one of the best places we have stayed. The area is a bit hilly but manageable if like us you do not have a car. ( we are in our 70s)The instructions that Christian left out as regards buses etc was very clear and the (pass) was a big help. Can also be used for a discount on the cable car. All in all a great place.

Mike & Co's place was a great place to stay! It was a good home base for exploring the Emmental as well as a wonderful place to relax in a beautiful, quiet setting. The apartment is comfortable with everything you need. Mike is a great host who is responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay there if we are the area again!

Very clean, lots of thoughtful amenities like chargers, variety of shower soaps, and soft towels. Host was responsive and helpful. Train tracks out back took a day to get used to, then were no problem. Great location, walkable to the train station and downtown. Views of Rigi from the front terrace and Pilatus from the back windows. Great place!

We had been looking for a modern apartment for our vacation on Lake Lucerne for a long time and then came across Roshan's great Scandinavian furnished, bright and friendly apartment. We felt very comfortable from the beginning, everything you need is there - compact, high-quality and cozy. Mattress is excellent, we slept super well. The roof terrace is beautifully situated towards the forest hill and you can hear a lot of nature. That's really great. The roof at the back protects from the noise of the road and railway tracks by the lake. The communication was exemplary and super friendly! You can quickly walk to the lake, boat, train and in the village with a bakery, butcher and Lidl. Logistically top location! We highly recommend the apartment and will gladly come back ourselves.

Loved this condo. It was spotless, easy to find and the location was excellent. It was not in the middle of town with the crowds, yet easily walkable. Loved the peace and quiet and the views were amazing. A view of Staubbach falls right in front of the kitchen windows and at night the falls are lit up and look magical. The snow capped Mountain View’s of Breithorn mountain from the deck and literally from the sofa as you are watching tv, were awe inspiring. Comfy furniture and bed and a well equipped kitchen. Lisa was great with recommendations and super responsive.

The area is really beautiful. They were two seperate rooms with a kitchen. The hosts were really friendly and also provided us with extra Ventilators due to the terrific heat. Over all, Nice stay.

We had a great stay at Remis Place, which is very tidy and clean. It's perfectly suited near the old town of Lucerne. I would definitely recommend this place.

We had a very cozy and peaceful stay at Ursula’s farmhouse. It is located on a beautiful hillside with amazing views. The washing machine was helpful and the cat was very affectionate! Would love to come back someday.
