Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Kennebunk

We loved our stay at Peter’s place! The hosts were very communicative, the beds were comfortable, and the location was great. It’s in a quiet, peaceful setting, but is a 5 minute drive to amazing shops and restaurants. We loved our experience.

Our stay was so relaxing. The house is very comfortable and we felt at home right away. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. The sauna is absolutely magical and the lake was quiet and peaceful. Check in/out was a breeze. Perfect spot for a relaxing long weekend with zero stress.

We had a group of 10 staying here and we all fit very comfortably. Having the rollaways for the kids was nice. We enjoyed being close to restaurants and stores. Check in was easy. The location of the house is great. It is an old house so there are the quirks that come with that but we enjoyed our stay.

Kati’s house is a beautiful beach house and would be a dream in the summer. We came in December for Christmas Prelude so while we couldn’t enjoy the beach, the house was well equipped for the cold weather with a cozy electric fireplace and was beautifully decorated for the holidays. We were able to walk into town and back (about a mile, but there are sidewalks and streetlights, and it was easier and safer than driving). We felt right at home in the spacious and open living area. The master bedroom has a sliding door out to the back deck that doesn’t lock and was therefore quite cold, so we did not sleep in this room. Also, Kati stayed in the unit downstairs, so while we did not share any actual living spaces, we did share the overall property (not sure if this is always the case, or just happened to be while we were there). This did not disrupt our experience at all, though. Overall, we had a great stay.

We have just spent 5 days in the Boho farm house and we wish we could already go back. The house is very clean and nicely decorated, it is very cosy. The three bedrooms are great. The house is well equipped from the kitchen to the bathroom amenities. The location is great: it feels very isolated and private, but in reality you're 15mins away from the biggest Costal Maine attractions. 10/10 would recommend and come again!

Place was beautiful and clean. We enjoyed the fire pit and the great living space. Bedrooms were comfortable. Great place for families.

This was a lovely stay! My friends and I were in the area to run the Maine Coast Marathon. This was a great location and super close to race pick-up. The home was beautiful and spacious. We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at Jeff’s was fantastic! The location was perfect…close to kennebunkport and the beaches, walking trails. The backyard is gorgeous and the patio is perfect for that morning cup of coffee! The house is perfect; beds were so comfortable! Living space and kitchen were well appointed - we had everything needed to relax and enjoy time with family and friends. We couldn’t have had a better stay. Thank you Jeff! We will definitely return if we are in the area again!

Absolutely charming, beautiful place with everything you can ask for!

Visited Feb '25 Steep stairs {a delightful New England quirk} lead to a comfortable bed, quaint views out the window. Soft cottage core vibes. Eclectic design steeping in a life well lived. Wonderful kitchen, well stocked and easy to cook in. Shower pressure is adequate. Bathroom is clean and filled with an array of books and tchotchkes. Your eyes always have something to wander and examine. It's a maximalists dream. The book shelf in the living room is filled with old books some titles are expected due to surroundings and some are just plain fun. May I recommend a game of I spy Nina is quite fantastic. A spit fire. An attentive host. Hospitable and kind. She gave it a welcoming vibe. Meeting her animals was truthfully a highlight. They are even tempered and kind. Her horse is stunning & social. The donkey a goof. The mule is oh so friendly. Sheep a bit shy but non the less beautiful. Chickens? fluffy feet! The ducks were personable. The goats, joyful. Cat, adorable. Good workin dogs.

Beautiful location just outside of Portland. Host was very nice and communicative, would recommend staying there!

This is a great place for a girls weekend! We were close to the hike and beach that we chose. Also a quick drive to Portland! Would recommend and stay again.

Loved our stay! The airbnb is located above a restaurant, so parking in the assigned spaces can be a bit tricky if you arrive at night, but still no issues as we parked in a restaurant spot until we could move the cars later. The location is great, walkable to town and the cliff walk. The inside was more spacious than we anticipated from the photos and it was so nicely decorated! Would definitely come back! The side door was a bit tricky to lock, so I’d recommend only opening if you plan to use the little porch area with the full wall opened up.

Really cute and clean place. It's small, but it's a thoughtful and beautiful space for two people. It has everything you need and a really well-equipped kitchen. Quiet neighborhood with Main St less than a block away from the apartment. There plenty of food options, coffee shops, local shops, and the location was super convenient to explore different areas around. Our host was very responsive, friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again.

Great clean place in Kennebunkport. Friendly, helpful and responsive host. Beautiful views of marshes with outdoor activities to enjoy! Will definitely stay here again!

The condo was extremely clean and tidy. Location is perfect for shopping in Perkins Cove and walking the Marginal Way. Once again, another great visit!

Such a cozy place! I was on a trip alone and I felt so comfortable and safe. Definitely a place I’m booking next time I’m back in Maine.

This was a teeny tiny condo (<200 sq ft!) but spotlessly clean, well appropriated, and a great location. The bed was comfy and the loft area was tall enough to sit up and move around. It was a 5 minute walk to Pine Point Beach. There are about dozen other tiny cottages in the condo association, clustered around a central parking lot, so if all of them were full there wouldn’t be a ton of privacy but we were there in the off season and it was peaceful and quiet.

Julie’s place was very nice and very clean. The location was great, right across the street from the ocean. The kitchen was well-equipped and there was even a small basket of treats. Julie responded very quickly to any messages we sent. We would highly recommend this place.
