Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Kennebec River

Laurie's place is absolutely beautiful! Exactly as described. Laurie was very responsive when I reached out at arrival. She had all of the little touches that made the stay extra nice, like actual coffee on the counter, tea in the cabinet and cream in the fridge! She had beautiful extra blankets for cold and fans/AC for warm. There was even a family of deer playing in the back yard when we pulled in! The house is at a great location to the town center with lots of shopping at adorable boutiques, coffee shops thrifts and general store (don't miss Reny's!) Overall an excellent weekend away!

My friend and I spent our momcation here and it was perfect! The sauna and hot tub felt relaxing. The lilacs were in bloom and smelled heavenly. The birds sang for us every morning while we enjoyed our coffee on the deck. I love to cook and the kitchen had what I needed. The house was clean and was the sweetest little set-up.

LOVED Tj's place! Wish I were staying there for vacation purposes, instead it was just while I was moving and movers had already taken all my furniture. But, right when you walk in, there's the water... The interior felt like home. Was able to walk down to a restaurant and there's a park across the street and a smaller one right next to the house. Didn't get to use the kayak since it was snowing... :-) Highly recommend Tj's home for whatever purpose. I will definitely try to get this home when I make it back up there!

Our stay at Margaret's home was very relaxing and comfortable. Pristine bathroom, kitchen and bedding. The lake view was so much more than we anticipated. It was serene, peaceful, and breathtaking. She went out of her way to answer questions for us about the area, and we left feeling like we just gained a new friend. Jeff and Donna

What an AMAZING stay! We loved staying at the lake house and enjoyed extra that came with it! The bed was comfortable, the rooms were all beautifully decorated and we both loved the hot tub! Although it rained almost the entire time we were able to enjoy the game room and the fire place. We have already told our friends and family how much of a great stay we had!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Marcia's lovely home! It was decorated super cute, was exceptionally clean, well equipped with anything and everything we needed, and felt very homey. She was very responsive and easy going. We were so comfortable - I slepted in both mornings until 9am! It was also nice to be able to have the option to check in at 3pm (most places are 4pm) and check out at 11am (rather than 10am). Lisbon is a darling little town - like a little Hallmark town. I spent a lot of time at the Little River coffee shop on Union St - great place to get coffee, a delicious homemade pastry and I was able to get a lot of writing done. I also got my tattoo brightened up at Align right next door to the coffee shop! I will definitely come back to the area and will book with Marcia. It was a great stay and I highly recommend.

Denis has a really nice place and is very peaceful and quiet. Very well stocked with everything you would need. Only a short drive away to the town of Belfast, which had a beautiful waterfront trail to walk. There are very many local restaurants in town serving delicious seafood. Denis was very responsive to any questions you might have. Loved our stay!

We had a great stay at Sumners place. It's location is very cool being right downtown but at the same time it is quiet and peaceful. He has it set up with everything you need and more. We appreciated his friendliness and great communication!

The apt is cozy and comfortable. There are quite a few stairs - it's a garage apt so be aware of that. But it was immaculate and very comfortable in beautiful surroundings.

We had a great stay. The location was ideal and everything we needed was supplied. The house was exactly as pictured and well stocked and very clean. Chelsey was very responsive to any questions and they also dropped off some very thoughtful sweet treats! Highly recommend and we would definitely stay again!

This apartment is clean and so unique. The artwork is a beautiful touch to this charming home. It is within walking distance to Annie’s Market & next door to Longfellow’s Restaurant. We loved being able to peek at the river & explore a little in the back yard. Patricia is responsive and helpful. We highly recommend staying here whilst visiting Kingfield.

Jean’s place was amazing, and she was the perfect host! The apartment was perfect for us! The king size bed was so comfortable, and everything was just as described. The location on the lake was so peaceful and relaxing. Jean and Bob very generous and let us use their whole property including wonderful swings to rest on and lake kayaks and a paddle boat! We were scouting out places to buy near Winthrop, and Jean had some great advice and was super helpful! We will be back!

Clean and super cute! They had lots of towels and sheets and soap and any thing else we might need :)

Easy quick getaway for ski/snowboard trip

Good location, easy access to the hill by either driving or shuttle. The condo was fine for our group of four. Kitchen had everything to cook for that many. Very comfortable. thanks

Located on the quiet end of Oakland, away from the busy KMD, is one of the reasons we chose this apartment. The overall feel is spacious and comfortable. We both felt like this was home away from home. We would definitely stay again.

This was an excellent condo for us before and after the Sugarloaf road race. It was very clean and welcoming. The hosts were attentive and proactive with information. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great place to stay in Brunswick! Extremely walkable to the downtown restaurants and shops. Clean and bright space with spacious bedrooms (enough space to throw a pack-and-play in one of the bedrooms). Beds were comfortable and living room/kitchen good for socializing! Bonus — you can also access the Androscoggin River path for a nearby dose of nature and water. This is the second location of Spencer’s we’ve stayed in (the other about two years ago) and both stays were awesome. Highly recommend for a trip to Brunswick!

Is is the second time we’ve stayed here and our whole family loves Aka’s place. We feel right at home on the mountain. What an amazing place and a gracious host!
