Cottage holiday rentals in Kenmare

My family stayed at Esther's place for 4 nights. We had the most wonderful time! The house has beautiful views of the ocean and is a short walk from both Inchydoney beach and the hotel. The house was clean and spacious with room for the whole family including our dog. Esther was welcoming and provided lots of great recommendations for the local area. We would definitely recommend Esther's place to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday by the beach!

Had a lovely few days away staying in Kate's accommodation. She was very helpful and great to deal with. The accommodation was perfect for a quiet getaway and met all of our needs, would recommend to a friend.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was absolutely perfect for our family of two adults and three children — clean, modern, and very comfortable. Everything was so thoughtfully prepared, from the fresh scones on arrival to the local ice cream, milk, and butter, which were lovely touches that made us feel right at home. The hot tub was a real treat and the perfect way to relax after a busy day exploring the area. There’s so much to do nearby — our family especially enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking in Rosscarbery. Clonakilty is a charming town with great spots for shopping, coffee, and lunch, and the Clonakilty Pudding factory tour was a fun and unique experience. We’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-equipped base to explore this beautiful part of Ireland.

A lovely traditional thatched cottage with all the modern amenities. We really enjoyed the use of the hot tub, jacuzzi bath and sitting in front of the turf fire in the evening which was very relaxing. Thank you for a great stay and would not hesitate to return again.

Had such an amazing stay here. Beautiful home with loads of lovely touches like the candles. Was so cosy as well. Noreen was also so helpful with instructions and responded straight away to any questions we had. Wish we had booked to stay longer!

This was a magical stay for our family. Sarah was so friendly and responsive. The location of the property is one of the best I have experienced. Views were super, hot tub was a hugh bonus and we availed of it every day. You could walk for a swim, snorkel and to the pub for dinner and drinks and the locals were very friendly in the pub. Highly recommend and is my favourite airbnb so far.

This was the cottage experience we were hoping for in Ireland! We loved the character of the cottage with so much thought put into every detail and texture. The art and decor were very tasteful and the amenities were good and practical. We especially loved making a fire each night even though we aren't terribly experienced at it! And the views from all the windows of the peaceful vegetation were so calming. And the private sitting areas in the yard were delightful - one with an ocean view! Their dog was sweet and friendly, too. The instructions for using the hot water were clear, but somehow we mixed them up so struggled a little with the shower but got it straight eventually! Aisling and Donagh were delightful hosts. A short drive away, Baltimore is a true gem of a town with breathtaking scenery and a rich cultural scene, and it even has a michelin star restaurant if that's your speed. Plus the fun algiers pub! We hope to come back again soon

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Tom & Judy's Beautiful home , spacious , relaxing , fantastic views which included grazing deetlrs in the front garden and foxes , rabbits , hares and a multi dude of birds to watch every evening . On arrival we were treated to home baked tarts and cakes in the fridge ( which were delicious) , treats left for the pup , clear instructions of how to use everything in the house and Tom had no bother answering us straight away via text when I was enquiring about something in particular . Just a 5 minute drive from bustling Kenmare and you are not far in any direction from some spectacular drives , we would highly recommend staying at Tom & Judys place , it is out of this world , thanks so much again , Mick & Irene .

Eileen and Robert were perfect hosts. They could not have been more helpful and the cottage was spotlessly clean. The location was as excellent for touring and our hosts had given us excellent advise of where to visit. This was our first Air B@B and everything was perfect. We will definitely be going back in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kevin's home, the house was as described and the location was great with lovely walks and views from the doorstep. The walk to zetland pier for a swim was the highlight for us, Hopefully we'll be back next summer.

Annette was a great host from start to finish. Very responsive, attentive, and a very friendly person in general! A welcome hamper for the first breakfast was there for us when we arrived, which was a lovely touch! The house was as described, very clean and cosy, and an excellent launch pad for travelling around the county. Has all the utensils you need for cooking too, which we made good use of. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants something private, has dogs, and wants to see the local sites. Thanks again, Annette!!!

Mairéad was the friendliest and most helpful host, giving us suggestions of what to see and do, even booking a table at a local restaurant for us. Even more special were the welcoming scones, butter and jam on the table and Mairéad turning up to greet us with an armful of beautiful, freshly cut garden flowers! Jenny the donkey and the local pusscat that joined us on our walks were an added bonus! All in all a lovely, homely cottage in a stunning location… highly recommend!

The most beautiful place and the most accommodating host we have stayed with in Ireland or the UK. They went the extra mile with small gestures to make us feel welcome. Can’t recommend highly enough.

I have stayed in this cottage quite a few times over the years - and I always enjoy it immensely. The cottage is lovely, decorated in a style that suits its age, and set in the most stunning scenery. It feels as though you're in the middle of nowhere - it is so quiet the deer come right up to the patch of grass in front of the house in the evenings and there are so many different birds it's almost like an orchestra - but you're definitely not: There are two good restaurants in the area, a nice pub near a harbour, a lunchroom in gorgeous gardens and a very well stocked shop-and-tearoom only a 20 minute drive away. So yes, I will come again!

If you want a quiet place and close to the ocean, this is it. A pleasant drive to Killorghlin for shops and pubs. We stayed 5 nights. It was restful. Anne greeted us when we arrived and when we left. A lovely graceful lady

Spent 3 days in Ginny’s cottage this week and had a really lovely time. The cottage is really quaint and cosy and also within easy walking distance of the main hub of the town. Ginny greeted us at check in and provided great recommendations of places to visit around Baltimore. Everything went really smoothly and we were very happy with our stay, would love to visit/stay again when in Cork :)

Had such a great time staying at the snug! The property was so cozy, perfect for a staycation around west cork! Very close to Clonakilty, which has everything you need! Frances was super friendly and helpful, would definitely be back🥰

Absolutely a ten! We feel at home, the location is incredible, both for visiting the surroundings and the peninsulas and for relaxing in the silence. They welcomed us with great kindness, even helped us with a problem with our bikes and left us spray oil!! No comments on the breakfast basket they left us Definitely a place I will recommend to friends and family

Lovely secluded spot. Great for a little getaway and close enough to drive to nearby places like skibereen, schull and others. Great hosts too.

A lovely little cottage and great location for touring Kerry - such a beautiful county!

Exactly what you want from a cottage on a sheep farm in the middle of a national park in Ireland. Cozy and checked all of the boxes for us. We wish we never had to leave. The proximity to Lord Brandon’s Cottage. the adjoining trails (Kerry’s Way) and the Dux’s boat tours from Kate’s Cottage made for an incredible experience. The recently upgraded amenities surely made for a more comfortable stay and even though we were looking forward to a more off-the-grid experience - our cell service was 100% in the entire Black Valley area. More reliable than Verizon at home. Go figure.

This is a beautifully-appointed cottage and Jacinta is the perfect host. This Airbnb has everything you could wish for and more. It is spacious, clean, very comfortable and in a spectacular setting in the hills of West Cork. There are so many great places to visit and explore, and a wide variety of top class restaurants to dine in. A highly-recommended base for holidaying in one of the most scenic parts of Ireland.
