My favourite place on Earth 😊 While it’s close enough to Dublin, it’s so private and peaceful it feels like you are completely away from civilisation in the most positive way. The surrounding are absolutely stunning, and there is a lot of sightseeing nearby. This place is just perfect for disconnecting from the busy city life. And lastly, Richard and Ben are fantastic hosts, very friendly, responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back here myself 💚

My partner, doggy and myself had an incredible time at Catrionas. We stayed for two nights and sat in both evenings and enjoyed the amenities. Catriona has three lovely dogs and so many cute farm animals - we were lucky enough to see baby bell as a 3 week old lamb. Most importantly Catriona was very accommodating of our dog who can be a bit funny (being very kind), she was a great host. Her place is the most perfect tranquil piece of heaven! Would recommend it to everyone :)

Had a lovely few days away staying in Kate's accommodation. She was very helpful and great to deal with. The accommodation was perfect for a quiet getaway and met all of our needs, would recommend to a friend.

Absolutely stunning location, beautiful scenery and so private and peaceful. Excellent location for visiting the cliffs and beaches. The local pub offers great food and wonderful atmosphere. Everyone we encountered was extremely friendly. Patrick was a very responsive host and easy to deal with.

The setting is peaceful and scenic, with breathtaking countryside views that added to the sense of escape and relaxation we were hoping for. The hot tub was a real highlight — soaking under the stars with a glass of wine after a day of exploring was magical. My mum was thrilled, and it truly made her birthday feel special and indulgent. Our hosts went above and beyond to make our stay feel personal and welcoming. Thoughtful touches like fresh flowers, a welcome basket, and helpful local tips made all the difference. We had a truly wonderful stay at this charming cottage. The location is absolutely perfect—peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by beautiful countryside. It was the ideal spot to relax and unwind, with nature right at our doorstep. The cottage itself was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. It felt like a real home away from home. Our host Mairead was fantastic— She made sure we had everything we needed and had the turf fire lit on our arrival. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the beauty and tranquility of Donegal!

We had a great stay at Dee's. The location was perfect and very close to the beach. Accommodation was very comfortable and clean. The fresh eggs were a lovely touch. Dee and Paul were also great hosts.

We spent 5 nights in Rory's cottage and loved it. We felt right at home. The cottage is cozy, spacious and bright. It is surrounded by nature and is located in a very quiet and pleasant setting. Rory and Breda provided everything you need to cook and stay in the comfort of home: nothing was missing! and the view is breathtaking. Upon our arrival, Breda had fresh milk and scones ready for us: not everyone does that and we were very pleased to find them. Their local recommendations were very helpful. It was a very nice experience and we will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at The Snug. It’s in a beautiful location and being blessed with good weather meant we got to sit outside in the evenings and enjoy the views and garden (as well as visits from Frances’s lovely dog Bear!) The place is really welcoming, the bed was so comfy and there are lovely organic toiletries in the bathroom. It was just so nice to kick back and relax. Frances was also really friendly and so helpful. She gave us some great suggestions of places to visit. We especially loved Barley Cove! I certainly wouldn’t hesitate to book here again when staying near Cork. The place is an absolute delight.

The most beautiful place and the most accommodating host we have stayed with in Ireland or the UK. They went the extra mile with small gestures to make us feel welcome. Can’t recommend highly enough.

I have stayed in this cottage quite a few times over the years - and I always enjoy it immensely. The cottage is lovely, decorated in a style that suits its age, and set in the most stunning scenery. It feels as though you're in the middle of nowhere - it is so quiet the deer come right up to the patch of grass in front of the house in the evenings and there are so many different birds it's almost like an orchestra - but you're definitely not: There are two good restaurants in the area, a nice pub near a harbour, a lunchroom in gorgeous gardens and a very well stocked shop-and-tearoom only a 20 minute drive away. So yes, I will come again!

Bridie was a wonderful host! Warm, welcoming, and full of great local tips. Thanks to her, we visited the Nine Stones Viewing Point and loved the stunning views. The farm stay itself was cozy and peaceful, and we especially enjoyed the fresh eggs she left for us on our first morning! Highly recommend.

Such a warm welcome from lovely hosts, who keep the place charming, with thoughts put in everything, up to a delicious home-made pie!. Gertie is really welcoming but leaves you your space, and the cottage is like a heaven for tired spirits, with the song of birds all around and a beautiful view on the meadows. I will come back!

Really cool old cottage in a very quiet area out in the country. The rustic nature of the house makes for a unique, one of a kind stay. One morning we walked about ten minutes to a local farmer's private access to the Cliffs of Moher and had the whole area to ourselves. Absolutely stunning scenery.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cecilia's place- the views from the living room and the yard are absolutely incredible. There was plenty of space, the kitchen was well stocked, and the surroundings made this place worth every cent. This is an older home with lots of charm and a few quirks, but Cecilia was extremely helpful and responsive, and even sent someone to check on the wifi when we were having trouble with it. The house is private and quiet, but you could be at the beach in just a few minutes by car. We walked along the Kerry Way and enjoyed the beautiful farmlands and countryside, with a view of the water and the mountains beyond it. This place is a perfect getaway to relax and enjoy the beach and the countryside all in one.

Great place to stay and explore the surroundings (Dingle). Apartment is well equipped, there's a fireplace (wood supplied for the first evening), a comfortable bed and bathroom. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. There's also some breakfast for the next morning upon arrival: much appreciated.

We stayed at Lisa’s beautiful home for a weekend while in town for a wedding! It was so beautiful and peaceful with amazing ocean views! Would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful place with great views!

I stayed at this listing with my parents, husband and my 9 month daughter. We had a seamless time checking in and it felt like a home from home immediately, with all the provisions you’d hope for. The house was spotless and was spacious enough for everyone to relax. The beach was what sold it for us when booking, and it doesn’t disappoint! Bonus points were the little rabbits that calmly surround the place, and the private decking and seating area which catches the evening sun. My only particular feedback for those with infants is that the floorboards and plumbing are quite loud, so it was tricky to not wake the baby when sneaking back to bed or going to the bathroom. A minor detail, still 5 stars!

This cottage was absolutely stunning. We loved to be able to walk to the beautiful beach and enjoy the sea air with windows open. I slept like a baby. The Hotel just down beach had excellent food. We felt so relaxed. Short drive to Clonakilty a very cute town. Everything I wanted and needed. If I ever can return to Ireland I’d love to stay the week here! Thankyou Sam!!!!!

The place was spotless and exactly as advertised. we especially loved the tv room as well as the seating area in the kitchen. We loved having breakfast in the light and spacious area and in the evenings we enjoyed snugging in in the TV room as Irish summer nights can be a bit fresh. It was really nice to have some basics available such as oil, sault and dried herbs. The place is really nicely decorated and shows that it was all carefully put together. The kitchen has everything you need and we really liked having a toaster to indulge in all the bread the country has to offer. Restaurants are a bit of a drive away but in return you get a lot of privacy and quietness which imho is a good trade. If there would be one thing we missed it is a but of shelter and maybe decoration of the garden/terrace though we didnt spend a lot of time there as the region has a lot to offer and as said Irish evenings tend to be a bit fresher.

The cottage felt like a hug-warm and loving. The bed is extremely comfortable and there is an electric mattress pad in case you get cold. The bathroom has a modern shower, very large and soft towels with a comfort height toilet. Catherine made a delicious apple pie and some brown bread. The fridge was stocked with staples and the cottage had everything you could ever need. The gardens and outdoor seating areas are amazing. Loved listening to the birds while watching the sun rise and set. Catherine gave us lots of ideas and recommendations on what to do in the area. She is a delight and truly makes the stay here even more special. Highly recommend this place. It’s a 12 on a scale 1-10! We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage! It is located a short distance outside of Kenmare so ideal for day-trips to Dingle, Ring of Kerry and Ring of Beara as well as Kenmare itself. The cottage is beautifully designed and very cozy! We loved our stay, thank you for having us Katherine!
