Maribeth's place was a wonderful base for exploring Sandusky and Cedar Point! Great location on the lake, super smart use of space, and so close to everything we wanted to see. Whole unit was in great shape, well appointed, and super comfortable. The pool and Hot Tub are right outside the unit and were an awesome addition to our stay. We would absolutely stay here again on our next trip and highly recommend it as an awesome place to stay in Sandusky!

I stayed in this exact cottage as a kid and into my teen years (before the back space with w/d and extra bathroom was added). It has since changed owners many times, but man, I wish Brian had had this property all along! Fantastically helpful, check in and check out was a breeze, the place is equipped for everything you need to have fun as a fam (bikes, tennis rackets, scooters, pickleball paddles ...), the space was super functional, and the location is *chef's kiss*. No notes! 10/10. I can't wait for 2026 availability to drop so we can book 423 Cherry again (for the 21st summer!!).

Lovely view right next to the lake, very spacious home and well stocked kitchen! Would definitely love to be hosted again!

I would recommend the place to everyone. It was nothing but a pleasure to stay there. Oh, and the beds were awesome.

Had a great time. Short <10 minute walk to restaurants, open beer garden space in downtown, Jet Express ferry, beach, and neighborhood playground. Covered front porch is great with unobstructed views of the lake and lighthouse. All basic amenities in great shape - bath and beach towels, some chairs, modest spices/seasonings, gas for the grill, soap/shampoo in bathrooms, etc. We stayed with our two kids (ages 4 and 6) and 70+ year old grandparents and it was a comfortable and convenient. For us it was a great launching point to Put In Bay, Kelley's Island, and Lakeside/Marblehead. Would stay again!

the hosts were super friendly from the very first text in reference to booking the place. they were always friendly and quick to respond and very clear on what they expected. they answered all my questions clearly and with ease. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in this area

Marcy was an amazing host. She was quick to respond and helped me figure out a solution when I mistakenly booked it a day short. The house was adorable and exactly as described. The living space was perfect for our family and the location was a dream. Will stay here again when we are back! Thank you Marcy for making our time in Huron/Sandusky so wonderful!

This is a very nice and peaceful place to stay if you are visiting the area. The house was very clean and offered great utilities and toiletries. The hot tub is nice and clean. The bathrooms and kitchen were very up to date and well kept. The house is within 15-20 minutes of all the hot spots in Sandusky, including Cedar Point, Port Clinton, and the islands. Very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Many local restaurants are within 10-15 minutes from the home with an easy drive. I would recommend this house to anyone coming to visit the area. Perfect place to stay if you are not wanting to get a hotel or expensive Air Bnb in the Cedar Point or Put - in - Bay area. Would highly recommend!

Keith and Missy’s place was great. Very clean and had everything we needed. They were very accommodating with our dogs and have a nice fenced in yard. Great location if you’re looking to take the Jet Express. We will definitely be back!

This little cabin is FABULOUS! I love staying in places that feel like home and this definitely fit the bill. The kitchen had every dish and pan you could want. Full size frig, some dry goods in the cabinets, lots of extra blankets. We loved the quirkiness and character!

The location and Airbnb were fantastic! The pictures truly don’t do it justice, it’s even more beautiful in person. The space was clean, extremely spacious, and perfect for a large group. Ted and the property manager were both kind, attentive, and quick to respond to any questions we had. They also had a wide variety of cooking utensils, pots, pans, and more, which made our stay even more comfortable. We didn’t need for anything! I would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back.

We love our stay at the Golden Home! Exceeded our expectations in many ways. Having never been to Lakeside before we didn’t know what to expect, but I can’t imagine it getting much better than this rental. Good amount of space, ample places to sleep, convenient to everything in the community. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back!

This house is an amazing get away. When you first walk in, it is the big master bedroom, and it also has 3 other guest rooms. The family spaces are amazing. My family and I all sat in the sun room at night and gazed at the stars through the sun roof. During the day we fished and/or took a 20 minute drive to Cedar Point. Right outside the back door is Lake Erie with amazing views. This house was a beautiful get away for me and my family. Definitely would come back. Could have not asked for a better place for my family vacation!

I loved the peace and quiet, the bright light filling the house in the morning, the busy blue jays chasing grackels out on the patio, the cute rabbits running around the trees, the mergansers, and herons so close, the view from the swing on the little deck at sunset, and the host… ah! From the welcome surprise to the kind goodbye message, Rachelle showed genuine care, and incredible responsiveness throughout my stay. A super host! Kudos to you Rachelle!

Hopefully will return for another visit!

Terri’s place was wonderful! Modern, well-equipped, clean and the large open-concept living room/kitchen was great for families. Beautiful view of the water and a sandy beach that was perfect for kids. The toys and games for kids was much appreciated! We will definitely be back!

Breathtaking home! The home was very clean and beautifully decorated. Everything matched the photos posted. With it being right by the water the views are immaculate! I would definitely stay at this home again. And as for the host, she responded quickly and even had some pointers for things to do in the area.

We absolutely love the stay at nickel plate beach! Easy to walk there. Bikes are provided in a shared garage. Spacious home with two bedrooms upstairs and two on the main floor. Well stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds and plenty of pillows. Loved the patio area. Plenty of seating. Games, toys (kitchen set and barn), and puzzles provided. My family had an amazing time! Close to drug mart and Cornell’s for groceries. Pied piper for ice cream was delicious. Close to cedar point. Beautiful area. Great neighborhood. Nothing negative to say!

Ryan’s place was very clean and comfortable. Great location for what we were there for. My wife loved the charm of the hardwood floors and wood trim. I will book again if available when we are in the area.

Great place to stay ! Only think that was an issue was water pressure in the upstairs bathroom. Besides that the house was pretty clean , very nice, quiet little vacation area! Will recommend!
