Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Kauai

Extra points for that beautiful view from the main bedroom (rainbows every day) and the shower is excellent! We had a great stay at the „little red haus“. Clark was great and always helpful at communicating everything. Very uncomplicated check-in and -out. Mahalo 🌺

An incredible, private and comfortable detached Ohana in a beautiful neighborhood. Conveniently located and walkable to numerous shops, restaurants and the ocean (beaches). Amazing space, very nice interior, with a very cool (temperature) controlled shower. Easy and clear instructions on the Manuel. Overall a great stay!

We really enjoyed our 10 nights at Devaki’s beautiful house. It was quiet and peaceful. We never closed the windows or blinds and listening to the rain at night was wonderful. Waking up at daybreak to that view was really nice. The location is perfect and we hope to return soon.

We couldn’t have asked for anything else! This place was stocked with everything to enjoy your Kauai vacation. The garage had lots of things to go out and use at the beach and around Princeville. This property is stunningly beautiful! It has a designer vibe yet is quite comfortable, incredibly well appointed, and centrally located. The communication with Aurora was amazing! She was super responsive and very informative! We have stayed in Airbnb’s all over the country and internationally and our family agreed that this was the nicest one we have stayed in and the best experience by far!

Jacob's place was wonderfully located! The rooms were spacious and can easily host a good group. He was communicative and provided good recommendations for nearby food and beaches. The chairs, wagon, towels, and other outdoor amenities were a major plus! Would definitely consider rebooking next time I'm in Kauai.

We loved our stay! We could have stayed 2 weeks. Loved the plunge pool feature and garden. Chilling out on the screen porch was so relaxing. We enjoyed making dinner in the modern kitchen and watching movies in the comfortable living room. Driving into Kapa’a was quick and easy either north or south route. Understand that Kauai is windy most of the time; the pool will have leaves fall into it all day. Just net them out before each dip.

Larry was kind and immediately responsive when I booked in, last minute, for an overnight stay. Such a gift. The place is adorable- clean clean clean! Very compact but the lanai is large. Larry has supplied what you need - it does the trick!

I enjoyed our stay. Sometimes parking could be somewhat annoying after 8pm but we never not found a spot, sometimes it just wasn’t as close to our lodging. The place was clean and as advertised. The beach equipment was very useful!

We had the most fantastic stay! The views from this condominium are just amazing. From the balcony, we would see turtles, whales, and surfers daily. The beach next to the complex has excellent snorkeling. We swam with turtles and saw so many cool fish and sea life. The unit is very comfortable and well stocked. It matched the pictures and description perfectly. Check-in and out was easy, with very clear instructions. If you are staying on the island's south side, we highly recommend this rental. We will stay here again on future visits.

We had a lovely stay at Jim’s place. The condo had everything we needed and all that you’d need to have a great beach day (snorkels, umbrella, chairs, towels, etc). Easy check in and free parking. The facility across the road for a pool, outdoor gym, etc., was a nice touch and something we enjoyed utilizing. 10 min walk to the beach and a cute area for dinner, we recommend Keoki’s paradise for drinks. A 5 minute walk to a great breakfast cafe, little fish. Overall we would absolutely stay here again.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Sarah’s place. We stayed here for the last couple days on our trip to Kauai, and we really loved that we got to stay on a different part of the island. Princeville was such a beautiful area/community.

It was a good place for a couple people

Situated in Princeville, this location was perfect for easy access to Kilauea and Hanalei. Soroush and Justin were very responsive, ensuring I had the smoothest stay possible. they also have a ton of recommendations in their host book which was a fun read. The unit came with two beach towels and a ton of beach gear that I didn't end up using. Really liked the lanai as it was really peaceful for my morning coffee. The bathroom was spacious and the overhead shower had great pressure. The bed was also comfortable, which I had all to myself. The AC and fan also worked really well. Getting in and out of the apartment was also really easy with the code and overall accessing this unit was really convenient. Absolutely no complaints--will be back! Thanks guys!

The most perfect stay! My husband and I brought our almost 8 month old and having a pack n play and high chair at our condo was an absolute game changer. We truly didn’t need a THING while staying here. Having so many amenities and extras made it extremely worth while. If we ever go back to Kauai we will 100% stay here again, I don’t think we could stay anywhere else!

Loved our stay in Princeville! The unit was cozy and made for a really comfortable stay during our trip. The area is beautiful and the unit was very clean. There was an abundance of beach supplies including snorkeling gear which was nice to have during our stay! Kourtney and Keith were super responsive and incredibly welcoming and provided us with great local tips that enhanced our experience. We can’t wait to return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

beautiful home in the middle of Princeville. Drivable distance to grocery store and resturants. Takes about 10-15 mins to drive to hanalei (depending on time of day). Beautiful views of the bay from the backyard. Kitchen was equipped with everything you needed. Cute place to call home for.a few days. Will come back.

We had a fantastic time staying at Sharon’s place! It was the perfect location to have a base for exploring the surrounding area of the North Shore. Her place was spotless and hands down the softest sheets of any Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. We’ll be back!

Diana's place is exactly as listed, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo is in an amazing location within walking distance of the Princeville Market and the beach. The condo had everything for a day at the beach which was a nice amenity. We can't wait to go back!

Lee’s place was a great location for the north shore of Kauai. It was extremely close to the shuttle for Hā’ena State Park to be able to hike along Na Pali coast and partake in Ke’e Beach. It was also in a great location for Limahuli National Botanical Garden and Hanalei. We picked Lee’s place specifically for location and the loft for our two kids. While advertised as having air conditioning, the unit was small for the area size. Strategic positioning of fans helped our kids sleep better in the loft area. However, given the physics of hot air rising, the a/c unit being small, and on the lower level, the loft may not be comfortable for some folks during the hotter months. Regardless, we did have a nice stay. The location made every morning feel more relaxed, because we were only 15 minutes away from most of our planned north shore excursions. The king bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was very clean.

This was our first time in Kauai, staying in the Princeville area and we're so happy we did! Michelle was extremely responsive with all questions before and during our stay. Our goal of the trip was hiking and exploring so this made for a great base - I felt the Poipu area would have been too busy for what we wanted. The kitchen is fully stocked, and I recommend checking in to see what is available before buying any items (oil/seasonings etc). The guest before us had left some unopened individual bars of butter which was helpful. We made our breakfasts and some lunches if we were hiking, but usually ate out for dinner. I loved the option of doing laundry during a trip, it's a definitely a nice luxury, and Michelle's unit allowed this. The neighborhood is quite quiet, we were up at 5am daily with the time zone change and basically in bed by 9-930pm nightly lol. We would love to come back to this place!

Great location and clean studio! Would stay again in a heartbeat!
