Waterfront holiday rentals in Kauai

If you want to have a true Hawaiian experience; you should stay at this place. Absolutely amazing views, the sea just outside your house. The apartment is well equipped and so wonderful decorated. At arrival there were some snacks and candy on the table. 😃 We enjoyed the XL balcony in the morning, enjoying the view with a cup of coffee ( coffee and tea is also provided ). And we liked it so much that there are no windows ( except the doors to the terrace) it’s all shades so you experience the ocean breeze in the house. Shower is great. Parking in front of the building. Shops and restaurants at walking distance. We are definitely visit this place again. Highly recommended.

Brooke’s place is great, exactly as pictured. A very relaxing environment—picture tea/coffee mornings on the view deck and a great place to come back to after sightseeing. Kitchen is great, well stocked w basics to get cooking after a quick grocery stop n. As for bedding, the cotton linens are washed in free and clear detergent, which is a huge bonus in our opinion. One cool thing that I didn’t understand in the description is that the upstairs bedroom area has a king bed that can be separated into twin beds. We were traveling with only one kid so the king bed was perfect for him, but if traveling with two kids or two adult friends having the option of separate beds is great. After booking, Brooke offered to have the beds separated or together, so it’s an option that she will make happen for you. Brooke’s place is well stocked for fun too, with 4 beach chairs, 4 boogie boards snorkel gear too (which I didn’t inventory, but you can ask) and a mid-sized ice chest. 10 out of 10!

We had a lovely stay at Jim’s place. The condo had everything we needed and all that you’d need to have a great beach day (snorkels, umbrella, chairs, towels, etc). Easy check in and free parking. The facility across the road for a pool, outdoor gym, etc., was a nice touch and something we enjoyed utilizing. 10 min walk to the beach and a cute area for dinner, we recommend Keoki’s paradise for drinks. A 5 minute walk to a great breakfast cafe, little fish. Overall we would absolutely stay here again.

Wonderful place to stay with an amazing view. We had great communication with Huma and no problems getting access to everything at the resort. We appreciated the little things - like plenty of hangars in the closet and an AWESOME beach umbrella and set of beach chairs. It was very clean and dry. The bedroom can be a little hot if you don't open the window (which is facing the exterior walkway to and from other condos, but there wasn't much traffic). Other guests were pretty quiet and friendly. This is a wonderful rental within walking distance of central Kapaa. Would love to stay here again.

I don’t think we could have picked a better place to stay on our honeymoon than Aloha Kai. Jon’s place is modern and immaculate with a homey feel and all the amenities you could ask for. He is a responsive host and it was apparent he wanted us to have a memorable stay. Kapaa is an excellent area with lots of great restaurants and shops in walking distance yet not overly crowded. My wife and I can’t wait to return! 10/10 would recommend Jon’s Aloha Kai paradise!

Fantastic spot in Princeville. Can’t beat the views. Spent a lot of time on the balcony - starting and ending our days there. Enjoyed the pool as well. Would rent here again.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-located. The host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Check-in and check-out were smooth and easy. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Hands down our best Airbnb experience ever, the house is better than the photos, was clean, comfortable and right on a beach with a wonderfully well kept and large yard. It was a pleasure to come back to it each day after exploring the island. That said, what made the trip exceptional was the host, Kendall was a pleasure to interact with, always responsive and super helpful regarding the house and the area, made several recommendations and even called local resources to confirm that certain parks were open or closed during our stay. We can highly recommend staying here, no regrets.

This was a great place and a short walk to the beach. Also great how close it was to the airport after a long flight to the island. Wonderful Airbnb hosts as well as they were always super responsive and proactive. Loved being about midway between the North and Southside of the island. Couple places we loved near by, favorite shaved ice was Hee Fat and Malasadas at Paradise bakery. Like this rental, very reasonable prices and offer fantastic products!

Great location and unit had all the necessities for the stay. There were also some nice touches by the owners with snacks and coffee for our stay. Just need to take note that there was no air-conditioning and the weather was hot, especially in the day.

We have stayed at many different properties of Susanne’s over the years, and this was one of our favorite places to stay. Exactly as depicted in the ad. Super clean and super convenient. We can’t wait to come back to Kauai and stay in one of Susanne’s properties in the future.

This home was absolutely beautiful. It was clean and comfortable and the AC did not disappoint. It was fully stocked with everything we needed and more! Nice neighborhood close to beaches, shopping and restaurants. The only downfall (which is no fault of the house or host) is that the next door neighbor was constantly watching us in the yard and did NOT like when the kids ball rolled into his yard. Oops! Other than that, it was perfect. We would definitely stay here again…minus the ball.

Overall we had a wonderful stay at Rico and Cinzia's place. Everything was clean and you are right up against rocks with water crashing against them. You can see turtles swimming and even spinner dolphin's one day. It is within walking distance to Poipu beach where you can rent snorkels, boogie boards and surf boards. Also, within walking or driving distance to The Grand Hyatt that has wonderful restaurants or Shipwreck Beach that is a great beach and has an easy explorative walk/hike. If I had one critique it would be for stocking the house a bit more with simple things like pens, games, parchment paper or storage bags.

What a pleasure it was to stay at Kendall's! The home was spacious and well equipped with everything we needed from baking dishes, herbs to beach chairs and a cooler. The home was beautifully decorated and having two separate floors for our party of 5 was really wonderful. We really enjoyed having every meal out on the lanai. Having such close access to the beach, Waimea Canyon and more was really fantastic! The cherry-on-top was Kendall's dog Piper, who adopted my family for the week. Both Kendall and Joel were incredibly welcoming and helpful. My parents are already talking about wanting to come back to their home! I couldn't this place recommend more!

The host was very responsive and addressed our concerns quickly, which we really appreciated. We booked last minute, and while the property wasn’t ready upon arrival, the host promptly sent a cleaner to take care of it. Once everything was taken care of, we were able to relax and enjoy our stay. The view is absolutely wonderful, and despite the initial hiccup, we would definitely book this place again!

Veronica’s condo was exactly what we needed to enjoy our Honeymoon in Kauai! The location was our favorite aspect, you could get to each side of the island within an hour and we did so many activities that the location was perfect. The condo itself is exactly as described and the pool and grounds are beautiful. The sunrises from the beach right out front are gorgeous and we really enjoyed all the chickens running around. We would absolutely stay with Veronica again in Kauai.

Grateful we found this little gem. Truly a treat to stay here. We appreciated the extra care to detail including little chocolates and water to start our trip on the right foot. Loved it!

highly recommend this place- beautiful setting right on the beach, third floor with elevator-beautiful sunrises, just downstairs is beach to walk along. It is convenient to airport, and you can easily drive to other areas on the island. Kitchen and condo has basic household supplies like some kitchen staples, laundry soap. Michael responds almost immediately to questions and follows up on things as needed.

Wendy and Adam’s place was spacious enough for two adults and two kids ages 10 & 7. The condo was noticeably clean and there were extra hooks in the bathroom to hang and dry towels. Beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear, sand toys and boogie boards came in handy for our beach trips. As a guest I also appreciated the quality of toiletries provided! Great location to everything and walkable to Safeway for groceries and other eateries!

We LOVED this little place. By far, this was our favorite Airbnb we have ever stayed at! The space was clean, spacious, and decorated so cute! Loved the bathroom counter space and large shower too. Our favorite was watching the sunset from the patio every single night; we made sure to be back every night because of the view! AMAZING! Also truly appreciated the beach gear (chairs, toys, umbrella, boogie boards, etc.) that saved us money from renting. Loved the hose on the back porch to spray everything off. The closet was also fully stocked with so many amenities including 2 cooler packs that we used daily. We absolutely will be back! Loved every second!

Loved, loved Bret’s place! Beautiful first floor corner condo that provided the best view of the ocean and sunset! Location was quiet and peaceful and a short walk to grass area, pool, recreation room and walking trails. There was a bbq just outside condo near grass area where you could bbq dinner while enjoying the gorgeous view! Condo was clean , organized and had all the extras we needed! There’s a closet with beach chairs, ice chest and snorkel gear which we so appreciated! Bed was very comfortable! Bret’s place is spacious and we felt right at home! Condo is close distance to several spectacular beach’s, shopping, hiking, grocery, restaurants and food trucks. Bret is friendly and great with communication! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Princeville and cannot wait to return to Bret’s place! Thank you Bret for sharing your special slice of heaven with us!

We absolutely loved our stay. The view from the patio is stunning. We saw a rainbow one morning while enjoying our coffees & the sunsets from the patio were gorgeous. We loved being able to walk down to Hideaway’s Beach (although the hill is no joke lol) & we were the quickest drive into town to grab food, coffee, or to go on our daily excursions (Napali coast boat ride and Haena State Park- make sure you book well in advance through their website.) Host was so helpful & responsive & I love the book she provided with tons of helpful information. We would definitely book here again!!

We loved staying here for 3 nights! Everything was just as shown in the photos, but even better in person. We especially enjoyed having bikes to use and being close to some great beaches! The space felt very private yet close to everything. Would definitely stay here again!
