Beachfront holiday rentals in Kaštel Stari

Excellent place for not very long stays. walkable distance to old city and port. Marjan park nearby is a gem. Fully equipped kitchen. New appliances. I would recommend.

This is one of my favorite places I have stayed! It is an adorable apartment within walking distance of Diocletian’s Palace. Our host had fabulous local recommendations and was incredibly helpful and responsive. Would definitely stay again!

Davorka is one of the best host I have had yet. The area is beautiful and I can tell this will be the go to place soon. I visited in May 2025 and there is some construction and a new beach just opened. Davorka made sure we did not get lost by meeting us and driving us to the location. After that she welcomed us into the apartment and went above and beyond providing snacks and even fresh strawberries from her garden. She instantly made us feel like family. The area is in walking distance to the beach and a 10 min drive to old town. I highly recommend this stay. It fit 4 people comfortably with 2 bathrooms. I highly recommend staying here.

Nikola’s place was very comfortable, we felt at home instantly. His son was kind enough to guide us to good beaches and markets around. They were also kind with our late check out. Would totally recommend for a group of friends or a family, beautiful house in a strategic location.

Toni and his wife, Paula truly do open their home to guests as this is their home you are fortunate enough to rent which they vacate for the summer to share with visitors. It is clean and comfortable with two bathrooms and great showers and a washer where the sun dries your clothes! The location backs up to the water and a boardwalk which takes you into Old Town Trogir in 5 minutes and also puts you close to tour pick up locations and buses and markets and boat rides and beaches. Toni not only arranged for our transportation from another area of Croatia, but also waited for us outside his house even though it was late at night. He gave us wonderful restaurant recommendations and better than that, he prepared Peka for us, a traditional meal made in a stone oven in his gorgeous backyard where we could try anything that was ripe! He is a funny, generous host who made our experience memorable. Stay here when you travel to Trogir!

5 of use stayed at Borna’s place in split for 3 days and had a wonderful time. The house is cosy with a beautiful view of the bay, located in the national park it is peaceful and refreshing. Borna was very friendly and helpful, check in & out was super easy and I would highly recommend this house to anyone considering! Hope to come back again soon.

Apartment very close to the beach. Easy walk to supermarket (500 mtrs) local bar by lovely beach and clear, blue water (300 mtrs). Ferry from Slatine (taxi ride) to historic Split recommend, also Roman town of Trogir, 10 minutes away. Many fab restaurants, markets and sightseeing. Split Airport about 15 mins from apartment so super convenient. Apartment is comfortable with lovely outside space and reasonably priced.

BOOK THIS PLACE!! I cannot say enough about Ivan and his lovely home. He met us in the parking space and carried our luggage down the 200 steps to oceanfront paradise! When the brief tour of the house took us outside to the pool, hottub and oceanfront I almost cried. This was exactly what we needed on our vacation and it was better than expected. The house was stocked in every way imaginable, lacked nothing at all. Ivan made sure to leave us a welcome gift of food, wine and all kinds of yummy things. The house was SPOTLESS. Coming in May was so wonderful because we used the pool, ocean and hot tub in constant rotation. We ate our meals outside (there were two places with full 8-person dining tables) and enjoyed every moment here. My daughter's 20th birthday was during our stay and Ivan surprised us with a delicious treat from a local bakery! He also sent occasional local recommendations throughout our stay via message. It was very helpful! We LOVED this stay!!

Well, where do I start. I often wonder about reviews and question the really positive ones. However, this home was beyond expectations. Beautiful, well equipped and soo clean. Lovely kitchen and lounge. Big bedrooms and plenty of storage and hanging space. Beds very comfortable, I sleep well but both my friends say they had the best nights sleep in years. Great balconies. Amazing pool and relaxing area. Big private space and plenty of sun to relax under, It really is as good as previous reviews say.. even better. From the start of my interest, Iris responded quickly and gave suggestions and ideas for local experiences. This villa is perfectly located, minutes from an amazing quiet and almost private beach. Local supermarket 2 min walk away. The village centre with many bars approx 5 mins away. Split 25 mins and Trogir 15 mins by very reasonable uber. I cannot recommend this apartment highly enough. We also saw Iris smaller 2 bed apartment located 5 mins walk away. Again spotless!

We were a group of 9 people. The location is fantastic. Very quiet and you can go directly from the villa to the sea. The house was very clean and looked as pictured. The kitchen in the house and also the outdoor kitchen were well equipped and had everything you need. We thought the grill and the pizza oven were great. The house is a bit out of the way. There are no restaurants nearby. However, there are plenty of shopping opportunities and they are easily accessible by car. The house is perfect for relaxing vacations.

We just finished a week in Stobrec and we really recommend this place. Stunning view and location but in close range of all you need. Stobrec has a lot of great restaurants and there is a local feel to the area than we really enjoyed. In top of this the hosts were very friendly.

Wow! what a magical experience staying at Srdjan’s beautiful and immaculate villa. If you are looking for the ideal place ( particularly as a family) look no further. Pool area was stunning, looking up at the mountains from the hot tub and listening to the lapping of the sea from the pool itself was divine. Inside was perfect, cool from the outside heat, ultra clean and modern whilst being comfortable. We could have spent the entire holiday at the villa without setting out to explore but it is ideally situated for exploring the local area. We loved the Kastella, each town with its own local character and got to Split, Trogir and Ciovo island with ease. I really recommend this place. Srdjan was really responsive and helpful. We felt like we had lots of privacy, a true gem of an Air B and B !!

This was by far the cleanest Airbnb I have ever stayed in! The entire space was spotless and well-maintained, making it a comfortable and relaxing stay. The property looks even better in person than in the pictures—absolutely stunning! The outdoor kitchen and bathroom were like a dream come true, beautifully designed and perfect for enjoying the surrounding nature. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an exceptional stay. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

We had a lovely stay at Ivana's in Kastel Stari. The flat is spacious and well furnished. The outside area and swimming pool are great. Ivana was very welcoming and responsive. We had a late flight back and Ivana allowed us to stay a bit later, which was gratefully received. Kastel Stari and surrounding areas are beautiful. Lovely beaches and lots of good places to eat and drink.

I am a little lost for words on how to describe the magnificent property and our hosts. Wonderful people who went WAY beyond expectations to make us feel at home. This property is breathtaking!! I have travelled a lot of the world and there are few places that would rival this house. The decor, the layout, the rooftop pool, the balcony and the beach literally 15m away. One of the most spectacular views I have seen. But again… our hosts Stipe and Ivana a beautiful people and we hope to see them VERY soon ❤️

The hostess was very kind. She showed us the apartment, told us where the beach is and there was even fresh home made lemonade for us in the fridge. The apartment was very clean, big and had everything we needed. The beach and kids playground are 2 minutes away by foot. We liked the apartment and we hope to stay here again soon.

A wonderful holiday in a fantastic accommodation! We can only agree with the very good previous reviews: a feel-good place to relax and enjoy. The house is very tasteful and well thought out. There is everything that makes a vacation pleasant. Chill in the magnificent garden directly on the sea, log fire in bad weather, barbecue, small quiet bathing bay around the corner, restaurants within walking distance of the harbor, beautiful excursions in the area. In addition, the very nice landlords, who always respond quickly and competently and value good and personal communication. We spent our honeymoon here and enjoyed every second. We will be back! Apartment all as described, hottub was great, restaurants and supermarkets all very close and accessible. The beaches were near and very nice, informative and friendly host :)

Location was amazing, next to the seafront, there is a supermarket opposite. A good amount of local restaurants with fresh food. Very family friendly area and safe. The accommodation itself was very comfy, shower room was very clean and nicely done up. Kitchen worked well for our short trip. All great.

A great experience, we stayed for three weeks and loved it. Only 5 minutes walk from the sea - great cafes, peaceful beaches and a long promenade. accommodation wise, a very comfortable large apartment with beautiful views and all amenities. The hosts are very friendly and help with anything.

I fell in love with Croatia & Kaštel Kambelovac during my 1-month stay at Erma’s. Barbara, who was my support and contact person, was super helpful, especially when I had questions as I began learning my way around on the wonderful bus system. While you cannot see the water at all & there is little direct sunlight coming in (as there is a building acrosss the street that seems to house a preschool), the studio is charming inside (just as it looks in pics), & is only a 30-second walk from a little pebble beach, a long promenade with benches, and a yummy restaurant. Two more blocks gets you to groceries, a town square (popular with locals—not touristy) & coffee/drink bars. I so appreciated access to a bike to explore the waterfront villages in Kaštel, which had more outdoor dining in the direction of Trojir. Easy access to charming walled city of Trojir, much larger Split, & the airport by bus. Tip: I most loved beach bar with trees at nearby Gomilica. Plus be sure to download bus app.
