Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Karlstad

We stayed one night at Sofia's place on our way to skiing higher up the country. Very nice cottage with a high cosiness factor, especially with fire in the fireplace. Extra luxury that sheets and cleaning were included!

Beautiful, cozy and traditional house. Well equipped kitchen, living room and bathrooms with clear instructions for everything. Very peaceful location for a weekend or more, with lots of nature around! The beautiful city of Nora is also nearby by car, worth visiting.

A beautiful and large house with complete furnishings and a large terrace. The house has many large windows with views over the vast lake and the other houses in the small-scale holiday park. Contact with the owner went well and quickly. We enjoyed the silence, tranquility and the singing birds. We took nice walks in the area. Supermarkets and shops are easily accessible 15km away. We would love to come back here if we go back to Sweden.

Very nice house and location. The walk-through room was not so convenient for our group (6 friends), but if you go with 1 or 2 families that is fine.

This place is truly magical—peaceful, with an amazing lake view. If it had been warmer, we’d have taken the boat out. The house is spacious, in a private, quiet, and idyllic setting. The kitchen is fully equipped, the floor heating is cozy in winter, and the fireplace adds a wonderful touch. We were welcomed with a bottle of delicious wine and a lit fireplace. Overall, an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a quiet escape in nature.

A home and view that immediately inspires a lot of enthusiasm. The space, the tranquility, beautiful house and really beautiful views, make it an ideal holiday place! In addition, if you love nature, you will be fully satisfied. Nice to be able to use the canoes! It was a top week at a top location.

I needed an overnight stay at the last minute around 11 in the evening, and Adam was very responsive. He was kind enough to offer to pick me up which was a great extra service. The room was exactly as described, very clean and comfortable. Adam himself is an extremely hospitable and cozy host who helped me enormously, which made the stay incredibly pleasant. The next morning he even took me back to the station. All in all, this was a fantastic experience and I couldn't have done better with Adam. I would definitely recommend this stay to anyone in the area!

I went to Sweden to visit my daughter and son-in -law. The appartment was very close to their home. My daughter provided me with bedsheets and towels, because I couldn't take much luggage in the airplane. On arrival, just before the evening started, a small light was on and the heating made the appartment feel very comfortable. "it's the little thinhgs, that make a house a home." I loved being here. We had a very nice time in Lina's place. The apartment was very nice and equipped with everything you might might need. Lina was always available and responded quickly and easily. We felt very comfortable there. The location was very nice. All around meadows and greenery and very quiet. We will be happy to come back.

Absolutely perfect stay in a very pretty apartment central in Krostinehamn. Easy check-in with parking directly outside. Very nice host. Perfect for us who were on a football cup this weekend.

Comfortable house with relatively undisturbed location, despite neighbors next door. Felt private and reasonably protected from view. Lovely view of Lake Vänern and large plot. Very windy straight into the plot from the lake. Surely refreshing and pleasant in the middle of summer, but in May it was sometimes too cold, despite wind protection and several outdoor areas. Nice that bed linen and towels were available and great that a boat with outboard motor was included. Large plot with space for car with trailer. Clear, detailed instructions, house rules and information, but only in English. Pleasant host and helpful who responded quickly and even provided us with info. We are very pleased and can imagine returning

Mats and Britta were easy to communicate with both before and during our stay, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. We were a party of 7 adults and 2 children visiting the property and were very happy with our stay.

This was our fourth stay at the lake house and it was wonderful as always. We just love the quiet, the nature and the wonderful location of this beautiful house. Anneli and Stig are always very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had a fantastic time and hopefully will be back!

Such a beautiful, private and peaceful property. The view of the lake is just stunning. We had a wonderful time relaxing, exploring the lake on the boat, having bbq’s and enjoying the sauna. The property was spotlessly clean and well presented. It feels like new. Joacim was super responsive, helpful and a very nice guy - you couldn’t ask for a better host. We will most definitely be back!

What a fantastic house Stefan rents out. I knew we would feel at home during the extensive tour. The house is very quiet, but amenities are very close. The house is very spacious, the new terrace at the back is wonderful and we also sat on the terrace at the front. The bathroom is comfortable, the bed sleeps well and the sofas are excellent. The house is also very suitable as a base for activities in nature. In short, during our road trip through Sweden, this has been our favorite stay so far. Too bad we could only stay 3 nights. We would like to come back one day to stay longer.

We were 13 people on a family trip and we had a great time. It's spacious inside without being cramped. Outside, there is a large garden and jetty, so here it was set for play, swimming, SUP and rowing. Here it is peaceful and here you will be peaceful. Here you can enjoy beautiful sunsets over the water and plenty of hiking opportunities.
