Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Kansas City

We stayed at Buffalo House for our Yearly Business Retreat and hosted the event at the house. Our Insiders stayed there with us and we had all trainings in the living room. It was a perfect place for our little holistic family to meet and gather for trainings and new product launches! Beautiful home close to things to do and tons of restaurants! Will be adding to our list of places to stay in the future.

This place was exactly what we needed for us and our two cats as we landed in KC after long flights. It was quiet, comfortable, and had all the little extras that you sometimes forget when you’re traveling. Christine has truly gone above and beyond to make this place homey and inviting. I will absolutely be back if I need to stay in the area again!

Stayed here for a quick refresh and nap in between a 30 hour road trip, home was cozy and easy to find, neighborhood felt safe, it was a treat seeing the lightning bugs in the backyard! Thanks for opening your home to us!

Appreciate this host tenfolds! It was in perfect location, walkable to really cool restaurants, safe, and comfortable. The fenced in yard was wonderful for my fur buddies and appreciated the ease knowing they were welcome. I would recommend this location and would also want to stay here again if we are back in KC for baseball tournaments! Thanks John!

Clean and organized place, has everything a home needs to have. We stayed for a month and were satisfied. Auguste was really prompt in his replies and were quick to help us whenever we needed help!

Beautiful, spacious, well updated historic home in a walkable neighborhood. We grew up in KC and loved being on the edge of Brookside. We walked one mile to the Brookside Shops every morning to get coffee and loved being close to Blackhole Bakery as well as the Plaza and Westport. Beautiful, safe, comfortable home!

Really loved the stay. Was very clean on arrival. Nice and quiet neighborhood with 3 halves bbq a perfect walkable distance away

Our stay at The Little House was all we expected and more! It felt like our own private sanctuary. We wish we had more time to spend enjoying all the well thought out spaces. We needed time and a space to unplug and recharge our energetic batteries and The Little House gave us exactly that. We would book again when in the area no questions asked.

With taking a short weekend trip, Lloyd was very responsive and accommodating to the slight changes we had with our flights for an early check in. Lloyd provided us with amazing instructions on entering the home. It was very clean and had absolutely no issues. The home is in a nice, quiet neighborhood but just a short drive to most things! I would definitely stay again and recommend anyone else to stay here as well!

Super cozy space. It was very well stocked, and communication with Katrin was great. It's in a pretty suburban area but not too difficult to get to downtown KC from. We had a great experience.

Savannah was a great host. She made sure everything was to our expectations and asked if we needed anything. Great response time if we had any questions or trouble with anything. Definitely recommend her place! 10/10!

Stopped by in Kansas City for five days for a concert, and this was exactly the place I needed! It was only a few blocks away from the concert venue, and the neighborhood was peaceful but still close to main street and the Westport area if you want to explore. I spent my stay alone, but if you're looking for a place that can accommodate a few people, then Thomas's place is perfect. The two bedrooms are spacious as is the living/main area. I would definitely come back again!

David’s place is a little gem tucked away by a quiet park. It’s conveniently located near the freeways, a QuikTrip, and a great Mexican restaurant with tasty food. The space is exactly as pictured and made for a comfortable stay. David even provided some thoughtful kitchen items like sauces for those who enjoy cooking. Overall, it was a nice stay and a good experience for a few days—would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay. Francis and his cohost were super responsive when we experienced issues with our assigned parking space upon arrival. They not only responded right away but they also contacted the appropriate party immediately and the issues was resolved in under an hr. They even followed up to ensure the issue was resolved. Would definitely recommend!!

My wife and I came into town for a music festival and Twin Cedars was perfect for us to stay nearby. The site is beautiful and secluded while being very close to many things to do. The space was spotless and very welcoming. The couch and bed were extremely comfortable, as well. Jodi and Brandon communicated clearly and instructions were very easy to understand. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in town!

My husband and I spent the weekend here and really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was very clean and was a welcoming environment to relax in after a day of activities. The area has many things to do and places to eat within walking distance. We would recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay and experience the heart of Kansas City.

Melanie was great and helpful to any questions we had! Check in was smooth! A little difficult to locate certain unit, but once found it was easy to access! Good privacy and felt very safe in the neighborhood. We would return if in the area! Perfect for small group travels.

Definitely a one of a kind great vibe inside and out! Plus, La Bodega, a tapa spot that has been around for years, sits right across the street and couldn't be a better match for this Airbnb! In addition, it's clear that Jake pays just as much attention to his hosting skills as he does to the details in this unique place. Well worth the stay!

This place was very charming, welcoming and had lots of natural sunlight. It had plenty of space for what we needed it for. It was perfect for a little getaway! The hostess was friendly and communicated in a timely manner. Had no issues at all and would definitely recommend it to others. I hope to stay there again!

Very easy walking distance to KU Medical center and lots of food & drink options easily accessible.

Everything was as expected and the neighborhood was nice and quiet. Safe, easy walk to Westport restaurants & shops. The sculpture park was a nice treat! Stephanie was proactive with communication and the condo was clean & cozy.
