Historic 1895 Mansion With View of Truman House

This large historic home built in 1895 housed the parsonage for the nearby First Baptist Church for a long time. It is located in the Truman Heritage District, directly across the street from the Truman Home, and within easy walking distance of many 1800's and early 1900's sights in this history-rich town. Our family had a magical time at Milo Farm. The space was as described. The farm was a blast to explore...all of it. We only found 12 of the 13 morel mushrooms. We didnt know about the morel hunt until half way through our time there. We are sending our daughter back to find the elusive #5. The pool was great the animals a blessing to watch...although i think the farm needs 🐔😉 We have them and love them. We walked away deciding on adding 2 goats. It was all around a great trip. To connect with our daughter and share our granddaughters 1st birthday at Milo Farm was a blessing. Our daughter will be back she loves it and found peace there from a really hard year. Watch out for her when she does. I was glad to help her find you. That was the best part of the trip...her saying she finally found peace just being there. She needs a sanctuary.

Wow, what a great experience! We LOVED our stay here. First time in a fifth wheel and we were excited for something new on our travels. It was everything we needed and more. Beautiful, quiet surroundings and a super responsive and helpful host. I hope we get another opportunity to stay here. Next time I’ll bring some s’more’s for the fire pit. Such fun!

Naomi’s place was a great stay. We went for a couple of Royals games. It was only a couple minutes from the stadiums and only about 15 minutes from downtown KC. It felt very homey and was easy to get in an access the guesthouse. It was a very clean house in a good neighborhood. She answered all our questions and gave great feedback and recommendations. If we ever go back, I would definitely stay in Naomi’s place again.
