Villa holiday rentals in Kaminaki

Beautiful spacious villa set set in the hills above Sitia. Cool, comfortable, stylish and well equipped inside , fabulous large outdoor area with terraces, eating area, shady green garden area and pool with loungers. We enjoyed a great week under cloudless skies chillling at the villa and visting Sitia (good selection of waterfront restaurants ) and surrounds. The best beaches are half hour or more drive away but well worth the trip. The local village Piskokefalo (a short drive away) has a great taverna with simple, good value local dishes. Mania our host was very welcoming, friendly and attentive. The welcome pack with home made Moussaka and the surprise little departure gift were lovely touches. Thank you . Highly recommended. PS The Richtis gorge walk is a great outing but wouldn't recommend driving down to Richtis beach - very scary !

Had a 2 week stay at Villa Heliopetra. The villa was absolutely beautiful, very private with amazing views. Within easy walk to a couple of good tavernas (about 10 min but there is a steep driveway back up to the villa) and an easy and scenic walk along the seafront (about 20min) to Elounda which has lots of options for tavernas, bars and shops. The villa had efficient air conditioning, a well equipped kitchen and a cosy area with the option of a real fire in an impressive fireplace. We paid to have the large hot tub heated in the first week as the weather was unusually chilly, but used it unheated to cool down when the temperatures rose. We found it to be a great addition. The outstanding feature was the fabulous view of the bay from Spinalonga island round to Elounda, absolutely breathtaking! We had a problem with slow Wifi during our stay but Giorgos sorted it very quickly. He was a brilliant host and very responsive to any questions. We would love to come back to stay again soon.

Antonis’s place exceeded expectations in every way. Our host, George (father of Antonis) greeted us with wine, treats, welcoming words, and two adorable dogs - we felt at home and began relaxing immediately. The grounds were even better than the photos - the house is spacious, comfortable, gorgeous. The upstairs veranda overlooking the sea was a highlight - a perfect spot for morning yoga and evening stargazing. We kept discovering new wonders - the trail to the beach through the olive trees, vegetable garden, exquisite woodwork and masonry; not to mention the incredible views of mountains, meadows, and sea. The sound of the waves all night was a beautiful lullaby. The village is very quiet in early April when we were there. Nothing was open so we brought in all of our supplies, which was good because once you’ve made it down the mountain, you’ll want to stay put until it’s time to leave. - no quick trips into town from there! Def bring a sturdy vehicle! Can’t wait to go back!

The Airbnb is stunning—just like the photos. The interior is modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The kitchen is fully equipped, and we had plenty of towels, including extras for the pool, plus a beach bag with towels and a beach tent. Everything was spotless, and the pool was cleaned during our stay. Kitsa is a fantastic host—warm, friendly, and super responsive. She made sure we had all the important info right away and even welcomed us with a lovely basket of treats like olive oil, wine, honey, and marmalade. It felt homey from the start. The drive up is steep, as Kitsa mentioned. We had a Fiat Panda and made it up fine—it feels a bit scary at first, but you get used to it quickly. Once you're up, the view is absolutely worth it. We caught some of the most beautiful sunsets from the terrace. I wholeheartedly recommend Kitsa and her Airbnb to anyone. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Beautiful villa inside and out - loved every minute of our stay there. It's an excellent location for lovely village of Mochlos and there's a bay where you can swim to left of harbour. Marilou was always on hand with any recommendations etc we needed. Only negative is we didn't realise that the bedroom with its own entrance is actually in a basement so very little natural light. Didn't bother us but does mean you don't see the beautiful views. Can imagine it keeps cooler in peak summer though.

Fantastic stay at this wonderful village house in beautiful peaceful Milatos, we cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough, exactly as pictured and described , host was amazing as was the delicious meal she left for our first night! Great amenities within house too. Great location to drive through mountains to elounda and agios Nikoliaos , we went straight south to beaches there too. All the restaurants on the front were amazing bar with no name fab through to Socrates so friendly and cheap €45 for two with wine . Old neighbour we sat and had a beer with although dialect was limited. Thank you again we will be back and telling everyone to come 🥰

We have just had the most gorgeous family holiday at Villa Belle Helene . It is the perfect villa equipped to the highest standards both inside and out and exceeded all our expectations. Inside is spacious and all the rooms have excellent air conditioning which was very welcome in the heat. We spent a lot of time enjoying the outdoor areas, especially the pool and jacuzzi which were perfect to cool down in the heat and to enjoy. The sheltered area outside the lounge is perfect for eating and BBQs and the raised outdoor seating area with TV provides the opportunity to unwind in an evening. It is 10 mins walk up to Old Hersonnissus which has a lovely square with Tavernas and bars. Hiring a car is worthwhile to explore the island further but not essential as its easy to book taxis. Eleni and her family are absolutely lovely, they could not be more helpful and made us so welcome. We would absolutely recommend this villa and would love to stay again if we go back to Crete.

We had a very nice stay, the house was so lovely, with everything provided even a cleaning service. Restaurants and beach clubs can be reach by foot (approximately 10 min walk). There is a very nice traditional village near the house with excellent restaurants (approximately 15 min walk). But most of all thank you very much Stefani for everything you were so nice and helpful, really many thanks everything was perfect thanks to you 🙏🏼 ☺️

Amazing Vila, will book again! We had a great time in this beautifull Vila. The house is very well designed and furnished, down to the smallest detailes. The kitchen well equiped and we had planty of towels. the outside patio is amazing for lounging by the pool or having dinner in the outdoor kitchen. The heated inifnity pool is amazing! Everything was super clean and comfertable. The beautiful (almost) private beach is the best feature of the vila, and the kyaks were the highlight of our vacation. It should be noted that the acess to the beach from the garden is via very steep stairs, that are a not in great shape and should be fixed. Another small detail for improovment is the Wifi that was a bit weak. Georgios is a super rssponsive host, that helped us with all of our questions, including calling restaurants on our behalf to reserve a table, and being very kind and genarous about a misunderstanding regarding the price of the stay. Thank you so much we had a great time!

We had an extremely nice stay at the villa. The pool and the view are simply breathtaking. The rooms are very spacious and there is plenty of space to relax. Everything was very clean and we didn't miss anything. Thank you for everything Stavros. We'll be back!

Fantastic villa, we couldnt have asked for more. The house is amazing and immaculate with everything you could need. Elina was the perfect host and went above and beyond and was proactive with extra information and tips. We couldnt have asked for a more welcoming and warm host. 5 star house with a 5 star host. we will be back.

My husband, our 7yo daughter, and I stayed at Michaela's house in Crete for five nights in April, and we enjoyed it very much. The inside is clean, comfortable, and decorated nicely, but the outside living space - the pool area, the outside dining/grilling area, the terraces - make it special. Michaela's mother Eva, who lives next door, is an exceptionally welcoming and kind host. While she was nearby to help make our stay as comfortable as possible, there was no loss of privacy in the proximity. The house is in a quiet residential area, and we rented a car to get to grocery stores, restaurants, beaches, etc., and to explore Crete in general; this was easy and worked out very well. The weather during our stay was still cool enough, especially at night, so we didn't make full use of the AC system, but the house seems well equipped to handle summer heat. All in all, we recommend and hope to stay again sometime!

Giorgos was a great host. Flexible with our demands and very responsive whenever we had any issues. For example, we had a hot water problem, which he resolved quickly after we informed him. The villa is very beautiful with a 360 view of Heraklion and the surrounding area. It has a great living room space for social gatherings, outside tables for dining and a grill. The kitchen was also well equipped with a large fridge+freezer, dish washer, microwave oven and gas hobs. The gym was well equipped and the swimming pool water was very clean. There was a washing machine with a lot of drying space. Several of the rooms have private bathrooms. The villa was not easily reachable by foot but that is the case for most places on Crete. It had however plenty of parking space and remotely operated gates. We didn't try the jacuzzi so can't comment on that and the piano was locked. Overall our stay was amazing, we're very happy and would recommend Giorgos as a host :)

We had a great time in this lovely villa. The outside is truly beautiful and we loved spending the day at the pool. Inside is also very nice especially with the brand new kitchen. We would love to come back!

We had an amazing stay here. The hosts were very friendly and responsive to any questions we had and able to provide recommendations for restaurants and reliable taxi driver. The villa was spotless, well stocked and the aircon worked very well. We also appreciated the midweek cleaning service provided. Thank you so much for an incredible stay, we hope to come back again!

We had a great stay! The location was perfect – very quiet, yet ideal for exploring the island. Everything was clean and exactly like in the photos. Communication was flawless, they responded immediately and were very helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family!

Very high class Villa, if you are looking for quality accommodation then look no further. My family consisted of 7 adults and an 18 month old, stayed for 8 days. Everyone loved it. There is a great traditional taverna only 10 minutes walk away, a big supermarket 15 mins by car and great beach again just 15 mins by car. We were there in May, spend most of the time around the pool and firing up the fantastic BBQ!

It was a very nice experience, Nikos was very attent and a good host. The villa is one of a thousand, an unique panoramic view in combination with comfort and luxe. We recommend it to all.

This accommodation is a dream - not only well thought out (water backup, pool, outdoor shower, own path to the beach, ...), but also very clean and tastefully and modernly designed (inside and outside). There was nothing missing, so we could enjoy the overwhelming view at any time. Despite some wind, we sat sheltered on the terrace and enjoyed the sound of the sea with Kostas' delicacies (thank you for that). The area is - as we had hoped - quieter and more original than the north coast, but there is still plenty to do. Many restaurants are within walking distance and all the ones we tried were excellent. The place also has some shopping facilities where you can get everything you need. If you want, you can also be in Heraklion in 1 hour. In any case, we were able to relax superbly, enjoyed the sea and the pool and would come back at any time.

Our stay at this villa in Hersonisos was absolutely perfect! The villa is spacious, super clean, and offers a peaceful, private atmosphere — exactly what we were looking for. We especially loved the beautiful pool and the barbecue area, where we spent hours relaxing and enjoying the serene surroundings. The villa is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the host was very friendly and responsive. If you’re looking for a quiet escape with great amenities, this place is a fantastic choice. We’d definitely come back!
