Villa holiday rentals in Kaminaki

Beautiful spacious villa set set in the hills above Sitia. Cool, comfortable, stylish and well equipped inside , fabulous large outdoor area with terraces, eating area, shady green garden area and pool with loungers. We enjoyed a great week under cloudless skies chillling at the villa and visting Sitia (good selection of waterfront restaurants ) and surrounds. The best beaches are half hour or more drive away but well worth the trip. The local village Piskokefalo (a short drive away) has a great taverna with simple, good value local dishes. Mania our host was very welcoming, friendly and attentive. The welcome pack with home made Moussaka and the surprise little departure gift were lovely touches. Thank you . Highly recommended. PS The Richtis gorge walk is a great outing but wouldn't recommend driving down to Richtis beach - very scary !

Antonis’s place exceeded expectations in every way. Our host, George (father of Antonis) greeted us with wine, treats, welcoming words, and two adorable dogs - we felt at home and began relaxing immediately. The grounds were even better than the photos - the house is spacious, comfortable, gorgeous. The upstairs veranda overlooking the sea was a highlight - a perfect spot for morning yoga and evening stargazing. We kept discovering new wonders - the trail to the beach through the olive trees, vegetable garden, exquisite woodwork and masonry; not to mention the incredible views of mountains, meadows, and sea. The sound of the waves all night was a beautiful lullaby. The village is very quiet in early April when we were there. Nothing was open so we brought in all of our supplies, which was good because once you’ve made it down the mountain, you’ll want to stay put until it’s time to leave. - no quick trips into town from there! Def bring a sturdy vehicle! Can’t wait to go back!

Ein wunderschönes Haus mit einer Top-Lage direkt am Meer. Der Vermieter ist sehr engagiert und super freundlich. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Die Unterkunft war sehr schön und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Lage ist top – ruhig und privat, und trotzdem sind Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und der Strand bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Kommunikation mit Pantelis war reibungslos und sehr angenehm. Er hat uns herzlich empfangen, uns tolle Tipps gegeben und sogar ein paar Getränke sowie frisches Obst bereitgestellt. Auf unsere Bitte hin, das Poollicht länger anzulassen, wurde direkt reagiert. Einziger kleiner Minuspunkt: Es gab recht viele Insekten, auch vereinzelte tote Insekten in der Wohnung, was in dieser Gegend aber nicht ungewöhnlich ist. Mit Sprays aus dem Supermarkt ließ sich das Problem aber gut in den Griff bekommen. Also konnte man problemlos drüber hinwegschauen. Insgesamt können wir die Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen – wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Beautiful villa inside and out - loved every minute of our stay there. It's an excellent location for lovely village of Mochlos and there's a bay where you can swim to left of harbour. Marilou was always on hand with any recommendations etc we needed. Only negative is we didn't realise that the bedroom with its own entrance is actually in a basement so very little natural light. Didn't bother us but does mean you don't see the beautiful views. Can imagine it keeps cooler in peak summer though.

We had a wonderful 5-day vacation at the villa. The property was stunning! It was tastefully designed, offering full privacy, and was super clean. We used the brick oven to make pizza and also enjoyed the pool. Everything was just as it looked in the pictures, and the villa was equipped with everything we needed. Pandelis, the owner, was very responsive to all of our requests and questions. I highly recommend this place!

Mooi verblijf met de nodige voorzieningen. Giorgos is een mega vriendelijke host die altijd snel en duidelijk reageert! Geeft ook heel wat tips over Kreta als je er naar vraagt.

What a wonderful stay! Antonios was incredibly communicative and greeted us warmly during check-in with fully stocked fridge, raki and a delicious platter of tomatoes, cucumbers and feta. The grounds were immaculate, the amenities were exactly as described on the listing. The location is wonderful - multiple small grocery stores located within walking distance, as well as a handful of delicious tavernas and restaurants along the water and in the nearby town. The location was excellent relative to activities on the island - we visited Knossos Palace, Skotino Cave (MAGICAL), Heraklion's Archaeology Museum, Star Beach (for some scuba diving + waterslides with the kids), and an Easter music event in a nearby town. We even rented a dune-buggy for the afternoon from the rental centre right next door. The villa itself had a great outdoor bbq, air conditioning units + smart TVs in every room, a well-stocked kitchen, laundry, clothes lines, beach chairs, pool toys, you name it, it's got it!

We have just spent a week at Villa Imperia. It was everything and more that we’d hoped for. The Villa was simply fantastic. Inside and out. Lots of outside space on two levels. Amazing infinity pool looking over Plaka and Spinalonga. The gardens were beautiful too. Beautiful outdoor lighting in the evenings. The Villa was very spacious inside and well equipped in the kitchen. The beds were so comfy. The air conditioning inside was a blessing with unexpected high October temperatures. The daily housekeeping was very much appreciated. Daily towel change and clean sheets every day … brilliant. Plus she was so considerate and helpful. Plaka was easy to walk to. Lots of lovely tavernas. The two supermarkets more than provided what we needed. If you need to chill out, with complete privacy, amazing views and dip your toe into Plaka - this is the place for you. Thank you. We’ll be back!

We have just had the most gorgeous family holiday at Villa Belle Helene . It is the perfect villa equipped to the highest standards both inside and out and exceeded all our expectations. Inside is spacious and all the rooms have excellent air conditioning which was very welcome in the heat. We spent a lot of time enjoying the outdoor areas, especially the pool and jacuzzi which were perfect to cool down in the heat and to enjoy. The sheltered area outside the lounge is perfect for eating and BBQs and the raised outdoor seating area with TV provides the opportunity to unwind in an evening. It is 10 mins walk up to Old Hersonnissus which has a lovely square with Tavernas and bars. Hiring a car is worthwhile to explore the island further but not essential as its easy to book taxis. Eleni and her family are absolutely lovely, they could not be more helpful and made us so welcome. We would absolutely recommend this villa and would love to stay again if we go back to Crete.

La villa était superbe, décorée avec beaucoup de goût ! Le linge de lit et serviettes étaient impeccable de très bonne qualité : Guy Laroche. La cuisine était assez bien équipée : nous avons eu pendant quelques jours un chef cuisinier sous la recommandation de Stefani et c’était juste incroyablement bon et belle découverte. Le petit village à côté est très mignon et non loin de la villa : ce qui était pratique. La villa est idéalement bien située. Nous pensions que la villa était dans un endroit un peu « seule » mais ce n’était pas totalement le cas; ce qui nous a fait un peu peur au début et finalement c’était très calme, agréable. Chez Antonis et Stefani nous nous sentons vraiment comme à la maison : c’était très propre à notre arrivée. Stefani nous a accueilli chaleureusement, elle a été une hôte très réactive et répondant de façon très efficace dès que nous avions une question ou un petit problème. Elle est souriante c’est fort agréable. Nous recommandons leur villa.

Wir hatten einen extrem schönen Aufenthalt in der Villa. Der Pool und die Aussicht sind einfach atemberaubend. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig und es gibt viel Platz zum entspannen. Alles war sehr sauber und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Vielen Dank für alles Stavros. Wir kommen wieder!

Very high class Villa, if you are looking for quality accommodation then look no further. My family consisted of 7 adults and an 18 month old, stayed for 8 days. Everyone loved it. There is a great traditional taverna only 10 minutes walk away, a big supermarket 15 mins by car and great beach again just 15 mins by car. We were there in May, spend most of the time around the pool and firing up the fantastic BBQ!

Wir hatten diese wunderbare Villa für eine Woche mit 6 Personen gemietet. Auch mit 10 Personen hat man hier auf jeden Fall ausreichend Platz. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Die Aussicht ist wirklich toll und ich kann hier allen positiven Kommentaren nur zustimmen. Hervorzuheben ist auch nochmal die Freundlichkeit und die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber - wirklich sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. In ca. 15- 20 Minuten ist man mit dem Auto in Heraklion und erreicht in der gleichen Zeit auch viele gut bewertete Tavernen/Restaurants in der Nähe. Wer nicht nur in der Villa abhängen will, sondern auch die Insel erkunden möchte, dem sei ein eigenes Auto empfohlen. Die Villa ist doch recht abgelegen, was aber eher positiv ist. Also schöne, ruhige Lage. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und viele schöne Erlebnisse auf Kreta. Zu emfpehlen: Do & Sa Markt in Heraklion, die Städte Rethymno & Agios Nikolaos, die Roza Schlucht, die Taverna "Filosofos" in Archanes und "Koukounari" in Athanati.

Met een groep van 9 vrienden een fantastisch verblijf gehad. Het huis was prachtig en de tuin met zwembad ook ook. Ook erg aardig dat we bij het uitchecken nog konden verblijven in een ander resort van manolis voordat we naar het vliegveld moesten. Dankjewel namens alle boys!

We really enjoyed our stay in Thomais´resort. Thomais did everything to make us feel welcome and welcomed us with homemade cooking and wine. Located on the mountain top the distance to shopping and restaurants is several kilometers, but excellent taxi service solved this so we dropped our plans to rent a car.

Die Unterkunft war mehr als traumhaft wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Pool ist sehr sauber genauso wie die gesamte Unterkunft und die Außenanlagen. Die Kommunikation war perfekt und sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir wurden zudem von Lisas Mutter sehr herzlich empfangen. Ein wunderschöner Urlaub in einer wunderschönen Unterkunft mit sehr freundlichen Vermietern!

We had an amazing stay here. The hosts were very friendly and responsive to any questions we had and able to provide recommendations for restaurants and reliable taxi driver. The villa was spotless, well stocked and the aircon worked very well. We also appreciated the midweek cleaning service provided. Thank you so much for an incredible stay, we hope to come back again!

We had a great stay! The location was perfect – very quiet, yet ideal for exploring the island. Everything was clean and exactly like in the photos. Communication was flawless, they responded immediately and were very helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family!

Private villa with beautiful views of the Mediterranean. Local host, Efi, was very responsive and flexible. Fun amenities like the swimming pool, outside terrace seating and ping pong table. 20 minutes drive to Heraklion for excellent restaurants, the lovely Archeological Museum and historic sites like the Palace of Knossos. Would recommend to friends.

We had a great stay at Aurora Villa. The house was very comfortable and the view was beautiful. The host was friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely recommend it.

Séjour incroyable en famille dans la villa que nous propose Nikos ! L’hôte est tellement accueillant et réactif à nos demandes, c’était parfait !! De bon cœur et très bienveillant (malgré notre anglais imparfait …Aha) . Nikos a su nous conseiller sur les restaurants, épicerie … tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Au niveau de la maison vraiment rien à dire, c’était tellement agréable et apaisant. Ah oui aussi ! Nikos nous a servi une huile d’olive incroyable qui vient de ses vergers ! Nous referons et conseillerons cet endroit à 1000%. Un grand MERCI Nikos

Wir waren als Gruppe mit 8 Personen (4 Paare) unterwegs und waren durchweg begeistert von der Unterkunft. Die Villa entsprach genau unseren Vorstellungen und ist ideal zum Entspannen, Spaß haben und um Zeit mit Freunden zu verbringen. Die Villa liegt sehr ruhig inmitten der Hügel mit einzigartigem Blick auf das offene Meer. Von der Straße hört man, auch wenn man am Pool liegt, wenig bis gar nichts. Nach einer kleinen Herausforderungen zum Start, da die Vormieter den Schlüssel nicht wie vereinbart in der Schlüsselbox hinterlegt hatten, konnten wir die Zeit sehr genießen. Hier hat die Kommunikation mit Stelios und seinem Team super funktioniert und es konnte alles schnell gelöst werden. Alles in allem war es ein super Aufenthalt und wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Highlight ist natürlich auch der Holzkohlegrill, der eigentlich täglich zum Einsatz gekommen ist. Fazit: Absolute Empfehlung!
