Beachfront holiday rentals in Kalmar

What an amazing night we have spent in the tent! The environment is so peaceful and quiet, sleeping by the stars and listening to the (wild)life out there has been such a nice experience. The beds are super confortable and the tent is perfectly equipped. The kids (and grown ups) have really enjoyed it! It is also a very nice place to explore with lots of activities and great places to discover. Would highly recommend!

Great and well-maintained cabin with glazed terrace and large outdoor area. Two great bedrooms, living room, kitchen and bathroom. Plenty of space for car parking on the property. We had a great few days on Øland, and are very happy in the cabin. Leonora always responded quickly to our inquiries and also reached out to check if we had arrived well and that everything was good. In short, we were very happy with the cabin and hosting.

Nine of us (six adults and three children) stayed in the house over the Easter weekend. It’s located within walking distance of the coast, where you can enjoy beautiful walks, explore the area, or even go for a swim. The house itself is warm and welcoming, and it has everything you might need, including a fully equipped kitchen, plenty of toys, and a great outdoor area where we had our first barbecue of the year. There are also a few bicycles one can use. Rebecka and her father-in-law were both very helpful and kind. They allowed us to check in early and check out late, which was fantastic—and especially appreciated by the children, who made the most of the trampoline. Thank you for a lovely weekend!

A wonderful swedish experience! Actually, one should keep this little paradise to oneself as a secret tip and share it only with very good friends :) The location of Magnus' small loft is a dream, situated with a slightly elevated terrace, overlooking the legendary landscape of the archipelago and finding oneself in the midst of nature. The grounds of the accommodation are like Bullerbü, with a beautiful stylish Swedish house attached and old fruit trees as well.There are paddle boats and canoes as well as bicycles, so you can move around perfectly to explore the islands. The loft is very cozy with typical Nordic charm, very comfortable, good beds, and a modern shower. A small kitchenette helps to self-cater occasionally. Magnus and his wife are very warm and welcoming hosts who always had good answers to all our wishes and questions. Magnus is an expert in giving tips about the surroundings and other parts of the country. Definitely a vacation that couldn't have been more beautiful.

Amazing Stay with Stunning Nature and Lovely Hosts We had a wonderful stay at Marie and Samuel’s place! They are incredibly kind and welcoming hosts, making us feel at home right away. The beach view from the property is absolutely breathtaking, and we thoroughly enjoyed the boat rides. it was such a memorable experience. The surrounding nature is peaceful and filled with the calming sounds of birds, creating a truly relaxing atmosphere. The house itself is very calm and cozy, perfect for a restful getaway. Another big plus is the location. it’s super close to Kalmar city and the beautiful island of Öland, making it easy to explore the area. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for tranquility and nature with the convenience of nearby attractions!

Super nice surroundings, very quiet, great walking trails, the sea right outside the door. Host very nice and the accommodation has everything you need (modern appliances, cozy seating and sleeping furniture)

Pär was super responsive as a host. Their house is such a fine gem. It's in walking distance from the town, yet far enough away to be private and with a great view over the archipelago and the city on the opposit side of the water. Quiet and calming - soothing for the soul.

This was definitely our best accommodation we had in 8 years in Köpingsvik! The fact that we are extremely satisfied is really no exaggeration and there is nothing negative at all to find about either the property or the host. Everything was TOP NOTCH and a welcome called goodbye!! Full marks for Maria and Jörgen!!

We would definitely visit this place again. This is our fifth time booking one of Andreas’ places, and it's always perfectly lovely.

Our stay in Köpinsvik was above and beyond, proximity to the beach, Ica and restaurants, was more than what we expected. We rented a bike from nearby camping, so we could easily get into Borgholm. It took about 15 minutes to bike there. What we wished was that there was more than one parking. Jonas always responded when contacting him, however, we did not meet him in person without all communication was via message. Can highly recommend this home, as it was absolutely perfect!

Very nice accommodation with proximity to everything! The beach, Ica, pastry shop, restaurants etc. Better in real life than in pictures! Consumables such as dish soap, dishwashing tablets, toilet paper, etc., were in the apartment, which was equipped with most things. Wasn't missing anything. We'd love to come back here!

It was a great stay. The apartment was perfect, tidy, modern with all the amenities. In addition, it was absolutely wonderful to wake up to a lovely sea view. Simon is quick to communicate and is helpful. We are super happy with the stay. Would have loved to extend the stay.

We enjoyed spending a few days in the vacation home. It is very relaxing to sit on the terrace and enjoy the view. The Hsus is very cozy and furnished with everything you need. The beautiful location right on the water is unique.

We had a great stay. The accommodation is super cute and the surroundings are really picturesque. The hosts Mats and Lisbeth were friendly and helpful.

The home is right next to the water with its own sandy beach, we have been to the area before so we showed that it is an area with many people who are vacationing just like us. That's why it was nice to have a private beach and saw an area with many vacationers close by! It also makes it great restaurants, a great bread sale and shops close by. The home was as described, but the shower and toilet were very nice and in much find condition always plenty of hot water and worked perfectly. Beach was nice stands from and the room we chose to sleep in was the beds good. It's a plenty cozy place and we've come back safely. Everything is toes on, yet private.

Cozy cabin with all the amenities in good condition. Clean and well prepared for guests. But the real draw of this place is the outside area. Beautiful view, right by the water. A lot of space to hang out, two barbecues, a hot tub and a private little jetty. Good things to know is that having a car is required to get around the area, and the sleeping loft is pretty cramped.

Hi Johan! We really enjoyed staying with you. The house is nestled between a beautiful beech forest. A wonderfully relaxing time in the middle of beautiful nature and the sea so close. The terrace is spacious and offers space to relax and enjoy. We loved the pizza oven. The view from the terrace is facing the sea. A short path takes you directly to the bathing jetty or the jetty. Due to the possibility to use the boat, we spent a lot of time on the sea and discovered a lot. Our kids loved it and we rarely had such a relaxing family time. We can only recommend the property. Clean and well maintained. A place to unwind. Thank you for the wonderful time in this special place.

Maria is an excellent host, and very responsive. The place is cozy and charming, at the end of the marina with a beautiful view and a quiet location by the water. It's stocked with plenty of amenities, and I was very happy with my stay. I stayed here by myself and it was perfect: while there are three single beds plus a sofa, it might get crowded with more than a couple of people, as there's not a lot of space. But if I come back to Sandhamn, I would happily rent this place from Maria again!

Magnus is very friendly, the check in and out was very simple. They had forgot to leave the apartment key but magnus wife brought it the day efter! Left the apartment unlock, very safe area which is nice. Free parking at the front yard. I highly recommend this accommodation.

The location of the cottage is unbeatable and the view is superb. I loved my stay on Saltö a lot. Thanks to Annika + Fredrik!
