Could not have loved this place more. Beautiful, secluded and tranquil and what a stunning house! Jana and Andy couldn’t have been more responsive or helpful! Such incredible friendly hosts! We will be coming back soon!

Place was cozy, very nice view, and very clean. Overall plenty of parking, perfect spot in between San Antonio and Austin. Pool was perfect temperature and clean, hot tub as well. Will be coming back for sure.

House was beautiful! Only “complaint” is for those sensitive to the light: there are no black out curtains provided. It’s worse in the front room because the flood/spot light by the garage is motion activated and turns on every five seconds, shining right into the room. Other than that: everything was amazing

We came to town for a friends wedding and stayed here for 2 nights. It was absolutely perfect! We felt at home from the moment we got there. The pool is FABULOUS and you can tell Kristen and Jeff truly take care of their home and property. The instruction book was very thorough and we knew exactly what was needed. We will absolutely be coming back to this home when we are in the area.

We loved our stay! The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. James was a responsive and helpful host. We experienced a minor kitchen drain issue, but with it being a holiday weekend, he stayed in touch and we found an easy workaround—it didn’t impact our plans at all. We spent a relaxing weekend lounging by the pool and enjoying the beautiful space. Overall, a great experience and we’d definitely stay again!

Jay's place was absolutely amazing. Very peaceful, clean, comfortable, easy to find and even has neighborhood park with pickle ball, pool and lake access. Close to lake Travis and Austin, but with a private and exclusive feel. The pool was amazing, but most of all the host was very responsive, respectful, friendly and accessible. It overall is a 5 star experience! I would definitely go back and I highly recommend!

The stay was exactly what we hoped for. The view alone is worth the price. The pool and the spa were amazing. As a unexpected great bonus, one of the neighbors has a kangaroo, a zebra and what sounded like a peacock as his pets. Amazing morning views seeing the animals. Great property

The thing I liked most about this place is that you could go outside and not be ambushed by any noise pollution - no cars, no lawnmowers, no airplanes, no people. Just nature. Complete serenity.

This is such an amazing place to stay. We have stayed at many Airbnb places, and this one is above everything. The details put into this home were incredible. If you appreciate those extra touches, this place is truly for you. The lamps, beds, wall details, and the bathroom design were all exceptionally well-done and added a luxurious feel to our stay. The hot tub being conveniently located right outside the downstairs bedroom was a huge plus, making it incredibly easy to access and enjoy. Watching the lightning bugs at night from the hot tub was an especially magical experience that we won't forget. Additionally, the copper soaker tub was incredibly relaxing. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique and memorable stay. The owner was so friendly when we met him, and we were even fortunate enough to get a tour of the other homes on the property. We're already looking forward to trying to stay in all of them in the future!

What can I say… this home was exactly what we needed to relax after a fast-paced weekend. It’s super cozy and located in a quiet neighborhood. From the moment you walk in, you can tell how spotlessly clean it is. The house has everything you need the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen is equipped with just what you need to start the day with a nice cup of coffee. One of the things I appreciated the most was how they’ve prepared everything so you can really enjoy your mornings. The backyard is also a nice touch, perfect for spending time in the evening and watching the sunset. The hosts were very responsive and attentive with any questions. Without a doubt, if I come back to the area, I would absolutely stay here again!

We’ve stayed at this house with previous owner, so always looked forward to another stay. New owner Casey has upgraded the furnishings making the house even more enjoyable. Comfortable seating for 4 in the living room, and wonderful bedroom furnishings. Excellent and prompt communications with Casey. We are looking forward to our next visit.

The view is astounding and the home is really nice with plenty of room and good beds. Sky View is the most beautiful, peaceful, and quiet location we’ve ever experienced. Valerie and Keith were always available and had great tips for nearby attractions. Thanks for the Texas sized hospitality.

Our stay was amazing! The location is perfect: peaceful rural life on a big plot of land, and at the same time it is a short drive to lots of interesting things. The home itself is recently renovated with good quality materials, has all the furniture you'd need and importantly - comfy beds. A nice touch was all the colorful brochures with information about the area and the pantry stockpiled with different kinds of tea. Julie and Chris were great hosts. They are responsive and you can feel how much love they put into this house! We visited with two little kids, and they loved playing with the stick horse and the various board games Julie's house has. They also loved running outside, especially making circles on the patio around the house while we were enjoying the pristine views.

This pace is perfect for two couples or a family. The fact that it is dog friendly is a plus. It has a fenced back yard with a hot tub. Very relaxing and walkable to local restaurants and close to wineries on 290.

What a wonderful serene stay. Very private. We saw no one but the sunset, stars and moon! The pool and hot tub tied our stay very nicely. The hot tub is big. It fit 6 of us comfortably. So many jet options. The art was intriguing. I believe was the owners. Very neat to incorporate into the rental. My friends were in awe with all the nature and amenities in the place. We brought out our kakaraoke machine and sang our hearts out with no worry on bothering the neighbors. Tied in our night with scores over the fire. Billy thought of everything we could think of. So many nooks and crannies to relax in. Already planning our next stay at Billy's place.

Kara’s place is a hidden little gem in Johnson City. We usually stay in the heart of Fredericksburg, but booked a last minute getaway and stumbled across this place. I’d stay here again and again. We were so close to some amazing less populated places to eat in Johnson city, it was so peaceful and quiet, especially for our mornings our grabbing breakfast. Our favorite wineries are closer to Johnson City, so staying here cut down that travel time! Kara was responsive and proactive in getting up information about the property. Kara also stocked the house with an amazing giant blanket that was so comfy to wrap up in for reading!! I’ve already purchased one for my own home. Thank you, Kara, for making our trip so easy! We’d highly recommend your and your property!

We enjoyed our stay at this pristine and comfortable home with a lovely view. The house was just as described and was great for relaxing evenings… quiet, clean, and away from the crowds, but close enough to great shopping and restaurants.
