Cabin holiday rentals in Johnson City

My wife and I had a great weekend getaway. The house had incredible views from every rooms’ giant picture window, easy access to multiple hiking trails and nearby campsite amenities, and only four minutes away from Hot Springs. We cooked dinners and used the hot tub and had a lovely, romantic few days.

Place was absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed the outside covered screened in porch. Such a great place to just relax and enjoy the family. I’m already trying to figure out when I can go again.

My family enjoyed the cabin very much! They said the view was beautiful, and they loved sitting on the porch. Heather was very responsive and kind.

We have been in multiple cabins all over the country now and Tucked Inn has been one of our favorites for sure. The place is peaceful, beautiful, well maintained and our dogs had a lot of fun exploring the area. The hot tub with the amazing views and the firepit were one of the best parts. We were a bit concerned about the drive up to the cabin, especially since it was raining when we arrived but it was not bad at all with our SUV. Just make sure you arrive before it gets too dark if it is your first time getting there. All that said, if you are thinking about booking this cabin reserve it without hesitation. It is gorgeous and our experience with Donnie & Whitney was 10/10. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved staying at Rivers Edge! Cutest little cabin with the best view! We got to see a fox across the river looking for some food and a family of deer crossing the river this morning before we left! Cabin was stocked with everything you need and the cleanest Airbnb we have ever stayed in! We will be back and refer all our friends to stay at this mountain paradise!

We absolutely loved our stay! It was such a peaceful and secluded area. We enjoyed the sounds of the stream and bullfrogs in the evening. The cabin was PRECIOUS! We didn’t want to leave. ❤️

Came down to Trail Days in Damascus Virginia with my wife and two kids. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Would highly recommend!

Wonderful place…so peaceful, beautiful backyard hot tub fire pit and very pleasant cozy interior. Stocked with coffee pods, soap, cooking oil and spices. Clean and lovely. Will def stay again!

Camp Happy Mundo is a gorgeous, beautiful, cute, and refreshing site. It’s the perfect getaway for those looking for peace and quiet, tranquility, fresh air, beautiful views, and privacy while still having access to the outside world. It’s perfect for the introvert looking for a home away from home that isn’t loud and crowded by other houses. There are so many things to do without having to the leave the property, such as fishing, hiking, bird watching, stargazing, laying in a hammock, bonfires and grilling out, board games and puzzles, reading and scavenger hunts, soaking in the tub, relaxing in the sauna, or just watching TV and movies, or browsing the internet. There is also a cupboard with local items for sale, such as coffees, teas, artwork, and gems, within the cabin. The hosts were very quick with responses and meeting our needs, and gave us complete privacy without any unexpected visits. We’ll definitely be making an annual trip to Camp Happy Mundo, we loved our stay!

Such a cozy cabin and lots of thoughtful touches! 10/10. We're not Keurig people, so was a nice surprise to find a real coffee maker there too! Fire wood provided. Safety gate on the porch was an excellent feature!

Marilyn’s space was perfect for a weekend getaway. Compatible kitchen (note there is no full sized oven but this wasn’t an issue), comfortable furniture, and absolutely stunning surroundings. We spent nearly all day outside hiking, wandering the property, or simply sitting in the yard/eating in the gazebo. Would one thousand percent stay here again and would recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful stay! Marilyn was also available for any needs we had and was respectful of privacy at the same time. Couldn’t be happier!

Don’t think - just book it! This was the epitome of a relaxing and peaceful stay. We ventured out a few times for meals or hikes, but we had everything we needed at the cabin. Plenty of books, movies, games, trails, and a cozy spot to relax around every corner. The sound of the water running in the creek was the most beautiful soundtrack to our babymoon!

We loved staying at the Trails End cabin with our kids. It was the perfect place and location for the outdoor activities we had planned. The children loved sleeping in the loft & we appreciated the little gift basket of goodies upon arrival. Would definitely stay again & would recommend to others!

Guys, I know airbnbs are in the hospitality business but Chuck and Valda take that concept to new heights! We had delicious homemade strawberry ice cream made by Valda waiting for us in the freezer and incredibly tasty homemade chocolate chip cookies along with a hand written note welcoming us by name. Chuck went out of his way to welcome my wife and I and fill us in on the amazing history of the area. We were sad our stay was way too short but we did take the time to rapel down the hill side to the creek and then take a hike down the old buffalo trail. This place is a must stay if you're ever in the area!

This was a great place to stay while visiting my sister and attending 2 weddings. It was very comfortable and worked out very well with having my parents with us. They are in their 80’s and were able to stay on the first level. It allowed them to have their own kitchen and bathroom, not having to do the stairs to go to the other levels. My son and daughter in law had their best nights sleep, while staying here. The home was clean and the perfect size for our family. The kitchens were well stocked with all the essentials; cookware, coffee maker and spices. It is a very peaceful and beautiful setting. We enjoyed sitting on the porch. Thank you for the restaurant recommendations in your area guide book. We went to the Red Dog on Main and had a delicious meal. Wendy was very clear on her instructions and responded quickly when messaged. Thank you for such a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Stayed here for work. The pictures don’t do it justice. The view is absolutely stunning. So peaceful laying in the hammock at night watching the humming birds and listening to nature. I felt right at home. The place was so clean as well which I really loved. Can’t wait to visit again:)

Once again, my husband and I had a relaxing stay in a wonderful, private and secluded cabin in Burnsville, NC. It was our second visit. If you want to relax and recharge from a busy schedule it is the place to go. We also enjoyed the firepit every evening.

We absolutely loved this place! The big back porch with rocking chairs overlooking the rolling hills was amazing and so peaceful. There’s also horses that would run down to get water and my family would pet them and look forward to seeing them every day. Michael was very responsive and met our every need. We will definitely be back!!!

This was our 2nd time staying here. We never stay at the same place twice but we enjoyed it so much last time we HAD to come back. We went to Rocky Fork State Park and was planning on hiking 6 miles but went 13 miles by accident. It was an adventure we will always remember. The cabin was perfect with great privacy and it had all the little things you need to make a memorable stay. We loved the new additions with the waterfall and the bridge over the stream. We plan on coming back AGAIN as we absolutely loved everything about it. Thank you for being such a great host as well. You guys have an amazing place.

Brenda"s attention to detail was beyond amazing. She thought of the little things that I would have never missed, if she hadn't thought of them. A pre-stocked coffee and pancake bar are just two examples. The beds were absolutely perfect for my wife and I, with the feel of the luxury bedding found in a high end cruise ship suite. The cabins are conveniently located whether your look for a hideaway weekend, attending a race at Bristol. Close to downtown Elizabethton, TN, that has a main street with old timey, but artsy vibe. I highly recommend Monarch Mountain Cabins to anyone looking for the perfect, secluded getaway.

Michael's cabin is adorable. The river is right off the back deck. My husband caught a fish! Michael was extremely prompt at answering questions. my dogs loved playing outside and the Appalachian Trail is within walking distance from the cabin. The local neighborhood dog, Jake was very friendly and came with us on all of our walks. Michael left a bottle of wine, candy, and bottled water for us - much appreciated! The cabin had all we needed and the bed was very comfortable :) We've already recommended the cabin to friends.

They were so very helpful and friendly! The cabin was absolutely beautiful. It was quite unique and just the perfect place to get away and relax. My favorite part about this cabin was the rushing creek right outside your door along the balcony. It was so peaceful so serene I’d say this is probably the best place I’ve stayed at so far in North Carolina and I anticipate on staying here at some point again in the future! ❤️

We loved the cabin. It was so quiet and very happy to be able to bring our dog with us. House was spotless! I would return to stay in the future.
