Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Jefferson County

We look forward to staying here again next time we want to visit the downs. The hot tub was a nice amenity and the charm of the old home was nostalgic and comforting. Larry was personable and friendly. Welcomed us well

We loved staying at this house! It was decorated nicely and had all the amenities we needed. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space. The patio out back was great for family game nights! We walked to 80/20, which was a great restaurant close by. The house is in a great location, as we were also 6 minutes from the zoo, which my son loved! We would definitely stay at this place again!

What an incredible stay! I came here for my bachelor trip as our home base to explore distilleries. This place really has it all! Everything you could want and you won’t ever need to leave the property. Great host, clear and thorough details regarding the property. Would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful time staying at Larry’s place. His home was beautiful and perfect for our large family! The home was filled with lots games and puzzles! The kitchen was large and perfect for hosting our son and daughter in laws dinner with family and friends who all came in to celebrate their college graduation with their Masters. Thank you again !

This home was as described, had plenty of room, and was comfortable. It has the necessities for a good stay. Jennifer was very responsive and helpful. Good value considering how many guests the house can accommodate. The neighborhood is large, but quiet.

From the spot on communication pre-arrival to the waiting hospitality basket to the immaculate and tastefully decorated home to the prompt replies to texts and emails during our stay, I can't say enough about the excellent experience we had from start to finish. We had lots of family to visit so we often were gone most of the day but returning in the evenings for a quiet moment on the beautiful front porch or backyard was heaven! Thank you John. We felt like we were your one and only guests, ever! We hope to return soon.

Easy check-in and a beautifully decorated home that felt like stepping back into a more nostalgic era—exactly what we were looking for while in town for the Derby. The house was very big and spacious, with a warm, homely feel throughout. The kitchen was spotless, the art was beautiful, and every room felt picture-perfect. The host was also kind enough to accommodate an early check-in, which made our trip even smoother. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay- the apartment feels really new and is in a modern and clean building. The apartment itself is large, has a nice kitchen and nice layout (bedrooms are not connected). The area is beautiful and you are steps away from a wonderful walk/hike/run at the Falls of the Ohio state park. All amenities are there. The bathroom could’ve been a bit cleaner - I think this was a short oversight as the rest of the house was very clean and tidy.

We had a WONDERFUL stay, the apartment was gorgeous. The pictures didn’t do it justice. Bruce was very responsive from the beginning of my booking through our complete stay. He went above and beyond with little details to make the stay so personal. We loved the muffins 😊 I highly recommend staying here while in the area. We had a great stay at the airbnb and it was perfect for our families needs. Only suggestion is don’t park on the main high street and use the given parking spaces.

We stayed at Michael’s for the derby, it was a great location. He recommended places to go we went to bourbon Bristo and eggs over Frankfort which were fantastic. It was nice to be on 1st floor and close to parking. Place was clean and the electric fireplace was calming. There were places close by to shop. The place is pet friendly but we didn’t bring ours. great spot for a quick weekend getaway

Perfect little home away from home in the heart of Louisville. Nettie’s place has everything you need along with convenience of being able to get to anywhere you’d want to go while in town. Annette is the sweetest host who goes above and beyond to communicate and ensure you feel taken care of. If we’re lucky enough to visit the derby again in the future, we would definitely look at staying here. Thank you for a great stay Annette!
