This is an adult amusement park, and the two of us adults were moved to tears by the lake. Yuu and Megumi have been running this bookstore, cafe, and art exhibition space for 30 years!Various styles of small wooden houses, rammed earth houses, Mongolian yurts, grass outdoor firewood stoves, art installations, and small works left by artist friends from all over the world.I felt like my eyes and limbs could never fully explore, so I had to roll around in the grass. They used to have a donkey and two goats, and now they have two cats.They live a self-sufficient life, from rice to vegetables. For breakfast and dinner, we ate all kinds of vegetables and flowers planted by Megumi-san, even the potatoes were colorful ~ The food and the cook are full of energy. This is my hometown in Japan, and I hope to return here in the summer.

I absolutely loved my stay here! The house is beautifully handmade with so much care, every little detail and piece of decor feels thoughtfully chosen and full of character. It’s cozy, comfortable, and has a truly artistic touch throughout. The garden and patio were such peaceful spots to relax, full of charm and greenery. You can tell a lot of love went into creating this space. A perfect retreat! I’d happily come back again!

Hiromi and Toshi are the greatest host that have build a lovely place in Nagano. From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave they do everything they can to make you feel welcome. I definitely recommend staying with them, I for sure will next time I am in Nagano.

The Stone House is located in a mountain village at the foot of Utsukushigahara, in Nagano Prefecture. It is a genuine stone building made of natural stone and a thatched roof, which is rare in Japan, and it took 12 years to complete the cottage. The stones that came from the site during construction were processed one by one and piled up by the owners themselves, creating a space with a exotic feel with the natural expressions of the stones. The surrounding area is a mountain village with private homes, but the large grounds are surrounded by trees, and in the garden where you can feel the nature of the seasons, birds chirp and the wind blows through the mountains. You may forget about time and place in another world that you reach by climbing a hill. There is also a main house made of stone and a small round thatched hut on the premises, where we grow vegetables and herbs without pesticides. Ishigami-no-Ie is a private rental accommodation limited to one group per day. Enjoy a calm and relaxing time in an extraordinary space that feels like you've stepped into the world of a book, away from everyday life. ●Maximum capacity: 3 people, but it can accommodate up to 4 people for families. Our house, where you can enjoy the slow flow of time in the midst of seasonal nature, is limited to one group per day (8 people in summer and 6 people in winter) and includes two meals, dinner and breakfast. This 150-year-old house is a family-style inn. We are unable to accommodate single guests. Guests have access to a 15-tatami (24.3 ㎡) bedroom and a 15-tatami living and dining room. The small village in the small valley has few cars, so you can fully enjoy the fresh air of nature. All bedding is Japanese-style futons. Wake up to birds chirping and the sound of the river in the morning. The bath is a Goemon bath full of Totoro's world view. Towels and toothbrushes are provided, but please bring your own pajamas. My house is located at an altitude of 810 m, so you can stay cool even in midsummer. In mid-June, you can see the largest firefly colony in Japan, and it is the busiest season in town. We will pick you up and drop you off at the nearest station, Tatsuno Station (10 minutes) and the Chuo Expressway Tatsuno SA (15 minutes) by car. We are immigrants from 2016. Please leave it to us to consult with you about moving and share our experiences. Naraijuku, Lake Suwa, Takato, and Matsumoto Castle are about 30-60 minutes by car, Yatsugatake, Kamikochi, and Obuse are within 90 minutes, and there are also other mountains such as Senjojiki, Keigatake, Kiriwamayama, and Utsukushigahara.

Chion-no-Ie is a private rental accommodation in Onna, Okinawa, limited to one group per day. Earth bag architecture decorated with colorful mosaic tiles, and furniture that takes advantage of the warmth of wood. You can spend a peaceful time in the mysterious curved space. In the garden, we grow seasonal flowers and herbs. There are harvest baskets and scissors, so you can pick and enjoy, or cook in the simple kitchen. There is a home theater and audio set, so you can bring your own DVD/Bluray, iPhone, iPad, Switch, etc. and enjoy movies, games, and live streaming on the big screen. We also rent musical instruments. Coffee and tea sets are available. You can also enjoy herbal tea with herbs from the garden. Please enjoy a relaxing time.
