Cottage holiday rentals in Jamesport

Louise's place was perfect. Louise was so easy to communicate with, super responsive, kind, thoughtful and truly appreciated that she had the option of flexible dates (instead of so many sat to sat or sun to sun requirements in summer). The cottage was cozy, cute, spotless & well stocked. My teenage kids loved the hot tub (as it was a bit chilly in the evenings) and I loved the outdoor shower. We loved having the bikes to take rides around the Island and loved the location. Our only regret is that we didn't get to stay there longer! We will definitely try to stay at Old Snuggler again!

I had a wonderful weekend at Andrew’s place in East Hampton. It was gorgeous, perfect location, perfect layout, and such a central location to everything. It was incredibly clean and organized and the backyard was beautiful for relaxing. Andrew was also a terrific host- he left us beverages, was super communicative and flexible and I’m so happy I stayed here. Hopefully I’ll rent again soon!!

Wow!! The perfect peaceful getaway that is close to everything!! Tucked away off the road the house is quiet with a beautiful yard. The interior is both stylish and comfortable. The kitchen is extremely well outfitted. Andrew is a great host and an excellent communicator. We only wished we could have stayed longer!! The question isn’t will we come back, it’s simply when!

Ivana and John are the most wonderful hosts! This was truly like staying at a family cottage and everything was just beautiful. John greeted us upon arrival and even had a bottle of wine for my husbands birthday! We loved staying here from the city because it was only a little over a hour to arrive and less than a hour to South Hampton where we had dinner. Also the little town is so so cute and we were able to walk over so quickly! We can’t wait to stay here again. Thank you again Ivana and John!

Lil Nauti was perfect for our family. The bedrooms were adequate, with very comfortable beds and plenty of pillows. The wardrobe space and drawers were great as we had a long stay with a lot of baggage! Jason has absolutely everything you could possibly want or need for a stay. The kitchen is really well equipped. Cute cottage and delightful private garden.

The place was charming, quaint, and exactly as described. It had a cozy vibe that made it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect, with easy access to everything I needed. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout my stay. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for an enjoyable experience!

Amy was fantastic from start to finish. The house has four good bedrooms. The bottom floor is very private. Great kitchen and we loved the fact there were cooking basics like olive oil, spices, etc all there.

Our visit was utilitarian. We needed accommodations for us, our grown children and grandchildren and a dog. But the site of the cottage, its charm, its comfort made us wish we were staying another week. James' thoughtfulness went beyond any other Airbnb hosts' that we've experienced. Everything we might need if we were staying 10 days was there, clean, labeled. Thank you, James.

We had a great experience staying at Melissa’s cottage and would happily recommend it to anyone else! We were in town from Florida visiting family in Rocky Point for Christmas and chose Melissa’s property as our place to stay. It was so comfortable and peaceful. We had a great time exploring nearby beaches and hikes. We would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay! Such easy access to the beach was so convenient. You’re definitely better off venturing out after high tide to enjoy the most amount of beach and there are a lot of shells that make being barefoot challenging. We did arrive after major storms which could have contributed to that. The house was spotless with everything you need to be comfortable! We did not utilize the outdoor space but definitely would have if the weather was drier! Definitely would stay here again.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this spot and Monika. This is our second stay- my husband, toddler, dog and I loved it last summer and came back. The back sliding doors open onto a porch where birds chirp and visit all day. The bright green lawn under towering trees is perfect for playtime or a family picnic. Little touches of thoughtfulness and charm are just everywhere. Monika’s hospitality is unparalleled- snacks and a handwritten note upon arrival, homemade treats throughout our stay, and nearly instant responses. Without being asked, she even sent us a hand-drawn walking route for a dog and baby and directions for getting there. Beaches, playgrounds, town centers, bagels etc are a short drive. The street is busy so wouldn’t go for a nearby walk necessarily but thats pretty standard throughout the Hamptons. For parents of young kids: FYI there isn’t laundry, but truthfully I just packed more- that’s how much we liked it. A laundromat is also nearby tho!

We had a great stay here! We worked 5 minutes away from the house so it was super convenient! Thank you for letting us stay!

We continue to visit Rose’s house for our yearly weekend girls getaway. It’s the perfect cozy beautiful place to catch up with friends and relax. Rose is an amazing host!

I can't say enough good things about this place. This place was so beautiful, quiet and exactly as described. Rachel was responsive, flexible with check in and provided everything you would need to feel right at home. The place was spotless, bed and linen were extremely comfortable, bathroom had all necessities. We absolutely loved the location- less than 10 minutes from town and RIGHT on the beach. Private walk out and lounge area, we can't wait to come back!

We absolutely loved Michael's cottage. It is a ~15 minute walk from the village and is on a quiet street. The cottage feels like a beach house but is very well appointed and homey. We loved our stay and would absolutely stay here again!

I grew up near here so I know just how magical it is. It did not disappoint with its beauty of LI sound. I also live in a cottage up the north end, and embrace all things others might seem quirky…. We loved them!! Amazing place!!

I stayed at Margaret’s place over Memorial Day weekend, and everything was perfect. The property is beautiful and surrounded by greenery, making it a peaceful and relaxing escape. Margaret was an exceptional host who truly made us feel welcome. She even invited us to join her family for a Memorial Day barbecue, which was a special and memorable experience. We had a wonderful time and I would absolutely recommend staying here! Thanks Margaret!

Laurie's cottage was clean and very comfortable. She had all the amenities including kitchen accessories. The best were the SOFT pillows and large, fluffy towels.

I had a wonderful relaxing time in this charming, well-apportioned cottage. There is a beautiful view over the marsh to short beach and it’s a great spot to see local birds - herons, red-winged blackbirds, etc. A trolley line that’s been converted to a hiking trail runs through the marsh and makes for a great walk. Lots of other fun walks nearby. it’s very quiet and cozy but still just a quick 10 minute jaunt to New Haven The piano and turntable were neat features and the house was nicely maintained and decorated. You can tell the host is very attentive to detail and committed to keeping things pristine. He was also super friendly and responsive I would gladly return to this spot next time Im in the area and heartily recommend to anyone looking to relax and recharge

My family were coming to the commencement so we stayed at John’s place for several days. The house is at a very quiet place surrounded by woods yet easy to find from the main road, and has easy access to I-95. The house was bigger than we thought and can accommodate six or even more people. It has everything we need like dishwasher, washer and dryer, etc. John also kindly provided grounded coffee and drinks in the fridge. It was an excellent experience!
