Holiday rentals with a patio in James Bay, West Bay

We loved this place. The view of cowichan bay and the marina are spectacular and cowichan bay in itself may be the cutest place we’ve ever been. Lots of great restaurants nearby and great for just strolling around. Astrid made an earlier check in possible which was great and the apartment was very clean and nicely decorated. We felt right at home! Highly recommend

Linda and Albert were fantastic hosts - friendly, helpful and respectful. The unit was utterly perfect - stunning view, very comfortable, and well equipped with lots of extra touches to make you feel at home. Gorgeous garden and lots of walking trails within easy access of the property. We loved our stay here, and would return in a heartbeat. Absolutely lovely in every way!

Amazing experience from start to finish. Easy, simple and a property that exceeded our expectations. The view is second to none. The place is very comfortable and well laid out inside and out. Everything was awesome and I’d highly recommend a stay. It wil not disappoint.

THe apartment exceeded expectations. It was so spacious, sunny and with a great view of the water. The building was grand and very quiet. It was also near the town of Sidney and ferries going to multiple places. My mother and I both had a wonderful time staying here. Neighbors we met were friendly. It was lovely to sit on the balcony and watch the light change on the water and enjoy the lovely weather we had all week. We were only sorry to leave when it was time to go home!

The suite was beautiful, everything you need. The pillows on the bed were awesome! The location was excellent as we could walk! Highly recommend!

This is one of the top Airbnbs that I’ve stayed in. Kitchen is very well equipped , unit is super clean and it felt very homey. I would definitely stay here again. Location is quiet and there is a little lake and walking trail just steps from the suite. Groceries, stores are a few minutes away by car which is convenient. We had a really good time during our stay with our 22 months old boy. The place was peaceful and clean. There was enough space for the kid to play.

The place was beautiful, both inside and outside of the property. We had a beautiful garden view, and a small patio to enjoy our Breaky in the morning! The place itself was very large, with a beautiful, modern kitchen. The bedrooms were nice, with one looking out/ opening up to the garden. The host left a nice booklet of all the best places to shop and eat — which was actually very helpful!! The parking was very good, and we even had “spare parking” If we needed it. Overall, very good stay, and we will be booking it again.

Sonia's place was nice, and we appreciated the large living room, as well as the dishes which were perfect for the carryout meal that we bought.

But this time, I needed something different—somewhere with all the amenities for an extended stay. And this place delivered. By choosing a rental outside the downtown core, and one that wasn’t a standalone apartment, I found an affordable gem that provided everything I needed for a comfortable long-term stay. From convenience to coziness, it checked all the boxes. If you’re moving to the area and looking for an affordable option that doesn’t skimp on comfort, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay at Scott and Jennifer’s cottage! It was so spacious and had everything we needed! The upper deck was an added bonus, we enjoyed getting to sit out in the sun in the morning! Scott and Jennifer were friendly and responsive hosts and very accommodating of our needs. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in Victoria :)

We had a great stay at Fatbardh’s place. It was comfortable and clean and an enjoyable 3 nights. I love the safety and security of the home. It’s close to my favourite sushi restaurant ever. The shoppers drug mart is nearby, too. You will love your stay here!

We loved our stay here. The location is great, we were able to walk to almost everywhere and there were so many great places to eat within walking distance, it was hard to choose! The building is very secure and safe. The bed was so comfortable, I think I slept better there than at home in my own bed. We would definitely stay here again!

The space was beautiful inside and out. Very walkable to the wharf and anywhere you want to go downtown. I would definitely stay there again! Our host Tim was very friendly and responsive but honestly there were absolutely no issues. I would highly recommend!

This condo was perfect for our family trip, it was a good size for the four of us and the beds were comfortable for a good nights sleep. What we loved most about the condo was the location and the patio. We walked everywhere during the day and relaxed on the patio in the evenings. Restaurants are everywhere in walking distance with a convenience store below, a restaurant and Starbucks across the street. I’d highly recommend Glenn & Gillian’s place for a comfortable stay & location wise, We will be back!
