Original inventory from the time when the lighthousekeepers and family lived in the lighthouse. Great family apartment on the ground floor with amazing view to Lysefjorden. That's as close to the fjord as you can get. The apartment has a double terrace door out to the fjord. You will have a feeling of being "at sea" as you enter the apartment. The cottage is located in quiet surroundings and you're going to love our place because it's located right by the fjord. You can easily go fishing and hiking or just relax and enjoying the view. Furthermore, the quiet surroundings make it magical when you take a bath in the jacuzzi while watching the sunset. The Benedikte house is about 10 min drive from Egersund city center and about 5 min from E39. We have attempted to recreate the hospitality of Benedikte - the last one to stay in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the outskirts of the courtyard of the Svindland farm. Here guests will find peace and idyll. On the farm there are horses, we have two dogs and a cozy peacock that runs freely. The house is very modern and well-equipped.
