Waterfront holiday rentals in Isle of Wight

The hosts were great from start to finish. They helped us book the ferry with the discount, and when the ferry was delayed they also helped us get a refund. The place itself was really nice and had pretty much everything we needed. I notice that others complained about noise as it was on the High Street, for us it wasn't too bad. There was some noise, but nothing to keep you up night, although our stay wasn't during any special events.

A gorgeous apartment in a wonderful location with stunning sea views & great local amenities. The host was very friendly & informative, always available if needed. The apartment was light, airy, clean, modern & exactly as described…we couldn’t have asked for more. Will definitely plan to go back x

My family enjoyed this beautiful Seaview home! The property is absolutely peaceful and relaxing. Plenty of bedrooms and space in the house. We enjoyed breakfast every morning at the nook with a view of the sea! My daughter loved the tree swings and tucked away tree house among the gardens. The beach walkway is perfect to walk along the waterfront and access to close restaurants. The location is close to the local bus stop, which we used as our main transportation around the island. James was always so responsive and very helpful to provide information leading up to our stay. He had a baby cot ready to go for our stay and the house was kid friendly with bins of toys and children's books. Wishing we could make this our summer home, as it is a special place. Stayed here for 3 nights with my family. Had a great stay the house is fabulous very clean and spacious really central close to shops restaurants etc. We felt right at home. Anna was very responsive to some questions we had. We will definitely be booking again as we regularly visit the island as my brother and his family live there. Would highly recommend 👍

Fantastic views! lovely and clean all throughout. WiFi had good signal. Restaurants and shops nearby. Short walk to the bus stop. It was perfect for our mini holiday!

We stayed for 6 days in mid-August and it was such a great location and experience for us. Coming up to the day of arrival, Laura was in contact in relation to recommendations for places to see and things to do on site, advice on getting over to the island, where the local shops were etc. The apartment was really quiet and the place was well cared for. When we checked in there was everything there we needed. The fridge was empty and clean, as was the freezer. Everything you would expect for the kitchen was there. You do need to supply your own washing powder, but that was ok. Check out was just as easy and while it was early (10am) there are plenty of ferries running at that time to get you back to the mainland.

A great apartment within a few mins walk of all the shops and restaurants of Cowes. Very clean, spacious and a great view of the marina. Would definitely stay again

A really lovely house with a great size garden for the kids to play. It was an easy walk into cowes along the sea front, only a 15-20 minute stroll. Many pubs serving great food in cowes, very dog friendly. Would recommend The Fountain Inn if you have dogs. We had a great week with all the family, and hope to come back one day. Jo is very responsive to any questions, and even quickly popped over some oven trays when we couldn’t find them. Thank you for a fantastic week

Olive House was a fabulous place to stay. The beds are comfortable, showers are powerful and the kitchen well equipped. We loved the big dining table for family dinner and the comfy corner sofa in the living room for family games evening. It was a perfect location for us as we needed to be close to Newport but lovely to be out of town and on the River. It was great to be able to leave the car and walk along the river to pub for dinner.

I have stayed in many Airbnb properties over the years, but this surpasses them all! The location on the beach, with facilities which lacked nothing, would top anyone's expectations. The décor was bright and fresh, suiting the house perfectly. This property is of the highest standard.

We had the most wonderful stay at this lodge on the beautiful Isle of Wight. Tucked away in a peaceful caravan park just a stone’s throw from the sea, it offered the perfect mix of relaxation and seaside charm. The location couldn’t be better—waking up to the beautiful sea view and being able to stroll down to the beach in just minutes was absolute bliss. The on site pool and playground were the perfect end to a day exploring for our kids, all the staff here were friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough to help. The accommodation itself was spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. Everything we needed was there, from towels, a well-equipped kitchen to cozy beds and a lovely lounge area with the most stunning uninterrupted sea views . It felt more like a boutique coastal retreat than a lodge! Can’t recommend this place highly enough—whether you’re after a romantic escape, a quiet solo retreat, or a family break by the sea, this gem has it all. Thank you Rob :)

We had the most lovely stay! We felt right at home, it was beautiful and comfortable and we were in complete awe the moment we walked in. The amenities were perfect. Cannot fault anything! Kate was extremely helpful, attentive and friendly. She made us feel so welcome and was extremely responsive. I would highly recommend a stay here and we will definitely be back to stay again.

This was the perfect get away. The house was lovely and had everything we needed . Parking was a short walk but no problem. We loved the views and the setting was gorgeous. I would not hesitate to recommend and I would certainly like to return. Thank you Corinne for a great holiday!

Certainly! Here’s a short review you can use: ⸻ We thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay at Solent Landing. Everything was to our satisfaction — the accommodation was comfortable and well-equipped. One of the highlights was the location; we could easily walk to all the places we wanted to visit, and the area offered everything we needed. It was such a relaxing change not having to use the car at all during our stay. A lovely spot for a peaceful and convenient break!

What an amazing apartment!! The photos really don't do it justice. The views are amazing and we spent ages just watching the sea and the boats go past. The kids loved it to. Rodney met us and went through where everything was. There was everything you needed. It was super clean and comfy. It was easy to get to the coastal path and walk into Ventnor even with our 2 kids. It was also really useful for have a dedicated parking spot. Thanks so much for letting our family stay. We had such a great time.

Penny’s place is in the best possible location - just metres from the sea, with everything that you would want from a beach holiday within walking distance. The surrounding countryside - again just a short walk away - is magnificent. The bed was very comfortable and a lovely sea view from the window.

Really good, clean, well equipped apartment. Very well located for access to the town and beyond, although obviously that does mean there is a bit of traffic noise but not too intrusive. Had we been travelling in peak summertime, personally we would have sought outdoor space but the apartment was described accurately and suited our needs perfectly. Host is very responsive, helpful and genuinely polite and welcoming.

Julie was a fantastic host, she was very responsive and helpful. The flat was lovely, it was in a great central location and was well equipped, homely and pristine. There were thoughtful touches such as the welcome hamper and a useful parking permit. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or to return again.

Perfect unit for a couple to relax and enjoy the incredible ocean view. Great amenities and a lovely welcome pack. Martin was able to offer us an early check-in which was greatly appreciated. Quiet location with only the sound of the waves and a few seagulls, yet very close to things to do. Easy on site parking.

Had a lovely stay in Yarmouth and would highly recommend as a base for seeing and exploring the Isle of Wight. The accommodation was centrally located and very easy straight off the ferry. Everything was as described, seamless check in and we had a delightful long weekend. Would recommend to others.

Rock pools is a superb flat for a holiday in Seaview. A stone’s throw from the beach and a lovely sea wall walk into the village and cafes of Seaview. Flat is so well equipped for a small family or as we were an elderly mum and daughter visiting family. I would thoroughly recommend staying here in this lovely bright, clean and spacious flat with all mod cons for a holiday needed and finished to a high quality.
