Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Island of Hawai'i

Stuart's place is truly home away from home. Every little detail so well thought out, you won't find yourself stepping out to stock up on essentials, be it in the kitchen or bathroom. Be it towels, beach chairs/mats or toys, everything is sanitized and available to borrow. Stuart was very accommodating of my request for early check in, which is a blessing when traveling with a toddler. He even had a high chair ready for us. We enjoyed our evenings in the lanai, and I can't wait to be back soon. Thank you, Stuart.

Keely’s home in Hawi was a dream and more beautiful than the pictures. I stayed with my two children and we felt very safe and cozy in her little oasis. The bedrooms were so comfortable, the perfect temperature as well as mosquito-free! The outdoor living was incredible and so fun to feel one with the beautiful Hawaii climate. Keely was so great to work with and even had a friend offer her paddle boards at a beach we went to. My children thought the outdoor tub was magical and had so much fun running in the garden, making friends with the neighbors and picking fruit from the garden in the morning. Hawi is a bit out of the way but I wanted to feel that I was living locally for my stay and this was the perfect spot to do so. If you’re up for little drives to your destinations with a lush and comfortable home base to come back to, I would 100% recommend this space. I hope to stay here again in the future!

Marc was awesome. He was a great host and we loved his place. The location is perfect and the views are amazing. I was able to really relax and unwind on our stay with Marc. We will definitely be back.

Perfect place of the path.

Lucky to grab this location for a few days. Accommodations were great for three parties of folks. Especially great one couple could bring their dog. Unfortunately, we missed the volcano eruptions, which started the day we checked out for home. They seemed to have everything you might need and super cozy, including the reclining couch sections were comfortable enough to sleep in!!

Great place to stay. Great location. No traffic noise. Home is newly remodeled and very clean. A rooster lives next door which we loved and were used to but beware if you like to sleep late. Would definitely start again.

Our family loved the house. There was plenty of space for everyone and the set up was perfect for our needs. We especially loved sitting on the lanai in the mornings and evenings, and falling asleep to the sound of the tree frogs. The location was a further from the ocean than we realized, but we enjoyed the lushness of the hilly terrain and would stay there again. Susan and Iris were very responsive when we reported a few minor appliance issues and it didn't impact our overall experience.

Great experience staying here, felt like on Bali a bit considering the semi-open house architecture and a garden full of fruit trees. The house is large, spacious and we loved especially the outside part where we spent most of the time exercising in the morning, having meals, reading, taking photos of colourful birds passing by and in the night stargazing accompanied by a symphony of forest noises! Absolutely wonderful. We met also the owners and had a nice chat, learning about the best spots to visit in the area. last the local guide book we found on the table was extremely useful!!! All-in-all we had a great time here! Fully recommended!

Conveniently located in Hilo. Easy to find and access rental. Hosts were very fast in communication and very friendly. I would recommend this place if you are staying in Hilo.

Lovely neighborhood, comfortable house, gorgeous view and backyard.

The unit was just as pictured. Nice view from the balcony and good location. Fruit stand right across the street. Magic sands beach down the street is nice spot to hangout. Fully equipped kitchen. Friendly neighborhood. Close to the airport. We loved our stay 🙂

Wow, what a fantastic house for a family or group stay! My favorite feature was the beautiful wraparound porch with a stunning, peaceful view of the Pacific, perfect for relaxing at any time of day. The entire home has been thoughtfully renovated and feels both fresh and comfortable. The host was incredibly welcoming. WE met them at check-in, and they went above and beyond by stocking the house with so many thoughtful extras. From coffee and tea to condiments and travel-weary essentials, it felt like everything we needed was already there. Definitely take a look around before heading to the grocery store! AC was cold, showers were hot, and we enjoyed everything minute. We highly recommend this place!

This house was spacious and full of amenities. we enjoyed the stocked. kitchen hasn't made it easy to prepare a few meals at home. It was also nice that the bathroom was well stocked with quality soaps, so we didn't need to pack a bunch of liquids in our bags.

Mike and Melissa (and Sheryl!) are wonderful hosts, and their place is spacious and comfortable—me and my dog, Margot, felt instantly at home. They were super friendly with great recommendations, and the apartment is private and quiet, yet super convenient to town and all of Kona’s lovely beaches. Would recommend to anybody!

Beautiful and peaceful location. Watch gorgeous sunsets with panaromic voews pf the ocean right from the deck! Great snorkeling close by if you're comfortable getting in from rocks. Private pool to enjoy when you've had enough salt water for the day.

Aaron was a fantastic host, full of aloha and very helpful. The house was so peaceful and perfect in every way. Absolutely beautiful ocean views and such a perfect location off Red Road and Mango Forest. Short walk to Kehena Beach. Amazing way to experience East Side Big Island. Will definitely be booking again and look forward to our next stay 🙏🤙

Wonderful stay, very accommodating even for short trips!

10/10 would stay here again! We brought our two dogs for a dog trial and it was PERFECT for what we needed! It was completely private but we had everything we needed. The frogs were perfect to fall asleep to and the rain was so nice too! Hot water shower and a cute little compost bathroom that was SUPER clean. It was exactly what we wanted and I DEFINITELY recommend it!!

Responsive host, provided many essentials, decent accommodations. Location isn’t amazing, but that’s obvious before you book it. Was nice to have a host that didn’t have fifty requirements and expect you to do an entire maid service for them on the place while on vacation.

Holly's place was exactly as described. The photos do not do it justice. Sitting on the patio at night in the hot tub or next to the beautiful firepit was extremely relaxing looking out to the tropical forest listening to the coquis exceeded all expectations. I also picked up several fantastic ideas for our upcoming home in the same area. Their home was beautiful and extremely well built and planned.

One of my favorite AirBnB stays ever! It was a magical place, designed so thoughtfully. I felt deeply connected to the beautiful tropical farm and natural garden surroundings, yet had all of the conveniences to be totally comfortable. It was such a pleasure to wake up to a chorus of birdsongs and gentle warm breeze blowing through the loft windows. The garden shower was also amazing. Melissa and Jeff were so friendly, and I felt at home instantly. I cannot recommend this place more for a retreat in nature!

If you are thinking about staying here, do it. The yurt was incredible. We stayed in late May and the weather was perfect, everything was very clean, Heidi was quick to respond, and the location was so cool!!

Caroline's place was just what we were looking for! Felt very welcomed by our host and her friendly farm animals! Beautiful garden and homestead. Great energy as you can feel the love and many years of work Caroline has put into her spread. Good people! Safe place. I would definitely come to this place when on this part of the island. Lyndsays property is wonderful! In the two weeks we were in Hawaii and Maui, we stayed in 5 different Airbnbs. From new construction to somewhat rustic, Lindsay's property was by far our favorite. The property is beautiful. The place is cozy and comfortable, and Lindsay makes you feel at home. Her place was the perfect tucked away place to unplug and relax, while also being close enough to things if you should be in need. Its proximity to The Captain Cook monument and The Shack restaurant were why we chose it. We definitely made the right choice. Lindsay's attention to detail didnt go unnoticed. There bandaids and sunscreen in the closet and fresh fruit on the counter. She even had delicious local honey, for the array of teas she provided . The Lanai is the perfect place to watch the local wildlife, and I wish I was back in her outdoor shower now! You won't be sorry booking with Lindsay! We will certainly be back ❤️.
