Little Cottage Steps from the Beach

Quaint little cottage behind our shore house. All you need to enjoy the Jersey Shore. Our house is four houses from the beach and less than a mile’s walk or drive to the bars, restaurants, and rides. We’ve been renting on Airbnb since summer 2017, but we are no strangers to renters. We've been renting our cottage for the past 20 years & mostly rent June-August. We are looking to expand our rentals to May and into November. The off season is perfect if you are looking for quiet & relaxation!

Lovely little two bedroom bungalow 2 blocks from the bay. House is about 4 miles away from Seaside Heights boardwalk and Island Beach State park. Walking distance to restaurants, bars, liquor store, ice cream shop, supermarket, and the Barnegat Bay. Fabulous little beach on the bay where dogs are welcomed. Very cool and cozy little place where you can enjoy a few days and relax. Fenced in back yard for the dogs and a doggie door. Gas BBQ and fire pit. 4 Beach badges, senior beach badges.

We are 15 miles from seaside heights. 25 miles from long beach island. 4 miles from Cedar Creek & new Berkeley Island County Park. Smithville is 35 min drive. Atlantic city is 45 min drive. It is clean, private, functional, affordable and comfortable suite. HONEY BEES, DOGS, & CHICKENS ON PROPERTY. The animals do make noise.

There's not previous showing of the house while guests are staying, my guests privacy, and satisfaction are my goal. Price may vary for season to season. Property is smoke-free. We had a fantastic stay at Bill and Dee’s place in Ocean Gate, NJ! The home was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend getaway with our dog, Max. The location was perfect—just a short walk to local spots. Bill and Dee were friendly, responsive hosts who made the whole process easy. Nothing can beat these views! Beautiful sunrises from the balcony. A family of swans came by each day and tons of crabs caught! Unfortunately we didn’t have a chance to take out the kayaks but there was a nice park a short walk away on the waterfront. Jessica was very responsive and made the process seamless! 🌟🌟

We had a wonderful 3-day stay at this beautiful home in Ocean Gate, New Jersey. The location couldn’t have been better—tucked away in a quiet neighborhood but just a short walk to the beach and close to everything we needed. The house was spotless, well-stocked, and thoughtfully set up with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. There were plenty of activities to enjoy at the house, making it easy to unwind without ever feeling bored. The host truly went above and beyond—not only was communication smooth, but they also provided a fantastic guidebook full of helpful information about the house and the local area, which made getting settled and exploring a breeze. This place felt like a home away from home, and we’d absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!
