Cottage holiday rentals in Iona

Our stay here was awesome! The house was perfect; very clean and had everything we needed! The pool and hot tub really added to our stay! We were also able to walk to the beach. Jennifer was very nice and very quick to respond! I definitely recommend staying here and will do so in the future!

We had an amazing week at Mona’s Enchanted Cottage! Enchanted we were! Mona is so friendly and communicative, offering tons of great local recommendations. The cottage is cozy, clean, private, and had everything we needed. We loved kayaking—fed turtles, saw manatees swim by, birds, and even an owl! A few small gators kept their distance but not curious enough to bother. Fishing from the dock was fantastic—I caught 25+ fish across 5 different species. There’s definitely more than you can count though. The bait shop with the funny name further down the road had the best bait and tips. The hot tub spa is the super nice kind. We grilled dinner most nights and had no issues with the internet to stream shows when it rained. The town is small and cute. You can definitely find a place to listen to live music every night. Our dog adored the doggy beach, and Barefoot Beach was super close with easy parking at 10 AM. We didn’t want to leave, 10/10—already planning to come back!

Great stay. There were some minor problems but communication was good and things were taken care of.

We spent a great two months in this newly renovated home. It has everything you need from kitchen utensils, towels, bedding, comfortable furniture, washer/dryer, and large screen smart tv. It is very close to the beaches of Ft. Myers and Sanibel. Perfect for a relaxing SW Florida vacation!

RedAwning was the perfect accommodation for our 3-day fishing trip. We docked the boat directly behind the house, which was equipped with a fish-cleaning station and comfortable outdoor patio. The hosts were friendly and responsive, even offering to replace the coffee maker we were having some trouble with. The house was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen well-equipped (including complimentary wine and water bottles!). It would have been nice to have a second bathroom, but otherwise it was perfect!

Alina’s house was perfect for our stay. It was clean, close to everything, easy to get to. Alina was a perfect host—responsive and flexible.

This place was a hidden gem! We lucked into it being available last-minute for a three-night stay and couldn’t have been any happier with it. The place was clean, welcoming, and nicely decorated. The kitchen had new appliances, and enough cooking equipment to easily make multiple meals a day. Bathroom was spacious and clean, with a really nice shower. The lot is remarkably quiet and private given its proximity to several main highways. Plenty of restaurants, bars, stores, and more nearby. There’s even a park a just a few-minute walk from the property.

This was a great place and highly recommend it. It's very peaceful. It's very close to things to do. 👍🏼

Such a beautiful place to stay at. So clean! Fort Myers beach is our favorite place to visit in Florida, so we will be back!! We loved that all the beach items were there and in great condition. I have stayed at a hand full of Airbnb’s throughout the year, and I have to say this was the best stock up one. So many bath towel ( all so clean you could smell the fabric softener on them), paper towel, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, and cooking essentials. Thank you for being outstanding host Deborah and Patrick. We will be back!

Beautiful area and plenty of beaches close by, we enjoyed our visit.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sara’s charming cottage. The house was spotless and incredibly peaceful, providing the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle. The beautiful pond on the property was a highlight—ideal for relaxing and fishing, which we thoroughly enjoyed. My son did not want to leave. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring restful nights after our day outdoors. Sara was an amazing host—always responsive, friendly, and attentive to our needs. We also loved having a barbecue outside the cottage while enjoying the nature. Overall, this cottage is a true gem. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a serene getaway with great amenities and a fantastic host. We can’t wait to come back!

Holly's home is wonderful. It's clean and well-kept. Siesta is a quiet, comfortable park in a great location. Only minutes to restaurants, stores and the beach. Holly is very attentive and will respond to any communication quickly.

Chris and Iveta’s place was everything we could have hoped for.. it was extremely clean and the location was perfect. We brought our boat over and were able to leave it in the water right behind the house so we didn’t have to fight the traffic at the boat ramp. The house was beautiful, the bed was extremely comfortable, we literally had everything we needed with no stress. The restaurants are wonderful and are very close to the house, or the house has a beautiful kitchen and a grill outside. I have stayed in Captivia in the past but I will definitely be coming back to stay here next time. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat in a beautiful home on the water I highly recommend staying here.

Friendly owners, private location and a clean place to stay. All you could really ask for. If ever in Fort Meyers again, I would certainly look to come here first.
