Good location and well maintained property. Had a pleasant stay. Only minor inconvenience we had was that there was no shower gel and shampoo.

Perfect place to stay on the west side of Glasgow. Easy car access to all local areas. Would recommend.

We were impressed by the photos on the website but the cottage was even more impressive than the pictures suggested. A spotlessly clean cottage, warm and welcoming, with lots of spaces to relax from the comfortable bedroom, spacious lounge, dining kitchen, cosy nook, and porch area at the back of the property. The garden was magical too, and I found myself drawn to wander around it, seeing something new each time. We were VERY lucky with the weather & the lower patio area was a fabulous suntrap! We have a friend who lives on Bute and when we come back we will definitely look to book Hawthorn Cottage. Thank you Rosemary, we had a wonderful stay.

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The interior is beautifully done — stylish, clean, and very cozy. Each room had its own unique charm, with thoughtful decor and a welcoming vibe. The beds were super comfortable, and everything was spotless. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, even accommodating a late checkout which made my departure stress-free. Check-in and check-out were effortless thanks to the key lock box — very convenient and flexible. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the utensils and cooking gear you could need, making it easy to prepare meals at home. Overall, a perfect blend of comfort, style, and convenience. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again!

Jane's place was perfect. The location is beautiful and we enjoyed watching deer in the nearby field. The house is comfy and well equipped with everything you need.

A beautiful house in a gorgeous location. Amazing space for larger parties - so much social space for all to gather and lovely comfortable living rooms and bedrooms too. Everything you could ever need inside the house, from fully stocked kitchen to board games and books. Beautiful gardens outside too which are fully fenced and gated so perfect for kids and the dog. Gorgeous walks close by and a great wee local store in the petrol station only a minutes drive away. A wonderful, helpful and responsive host too and an all round lovely place to stay. Superb property. The house was very comfortable with a very well equipped kitchen. Bedrooms all a good size and plenty of living space. The views across the loch are amazing. The kids loved playing hide and seek in the large garden, which is very private and not overlooked. We should have made more of the outside patio with the well appointed garden furniture. Lynn the host sent us really useful info about things to do and places to eat in the area. We did quite a few and they were all great recommendations. She also responded to queries about activities really quickly and checked in to make sure everything about our stay was going ok. Location is really good. Easy access to nearby Rhu and Helensburgh. We found it a good base from which venture out for a range of activities and big enough to spend time in the garden and house - and enjoy the views. A great property and brilliant host. We would highly recommend.

Beautiful home in a great location close to the airport yet private and in a beautiful countryside. The house was perfect for a large family or group with a wonderful outside sitting area and great kitchen. Perfect base close to Glasgow for a Scotland visit.

We had an amazing stay! The host was absolutely lovely and provided exceptional service from start to finish. Everything was perfect—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully set up. The location was beautiful and peaceful, with plenty of space for our dog to run around and enjoy. We also really appreciated the little touches like the coffee and dog-friendly extras. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our time here, a home from home. Great base for exploring the Ayrshire Coastline, we look forward to a return stay.

Had really great stay , tha accommodation was great had everything you needed. The boys loved the holiday and exploring Scotland was awesome

wee booked this on the day and david was very helpful emailing over local amenities (pubs, restaurants, shops etc) that can be located. Instructions for check in/out was easily followed. The Lodge is absolutely beautiful inside and out. Pictures do not do this justice. The smell from walking through the front door was amazing with the diffusers dotted around the lodge. Bedding was crisps and smelling lush. The whole inside decor and home to home feel was magical. Tv has Netflix and prime which was ideal to watch at night to relax after being in the hot tub. Hot tub was all ready for us arriving. What made this for us was the hot tub was undercover (it rained when we were here). Lovely outside patio furniture and it's beautifully lit up with lights all around the lodge and the surrounding areas. Aaron miniature products are in the bathroom to be used which smell divine. Alot of thought has been put into these lodges. I will definitely be back! thank you for everything :)

Well appointed two bedroom,two bathroom apt. Large living room with huge new tv. Kitchen had everything needed. She had coffee and tea for her guests. Bus outside her place directly into center city evert 12-15 minutes. My adult children frequently walked. Samantha was very responsive on messages.

Another great stay in Hazel's caravan, she went above and beyond for this trip as I forgot stuff and had a few mental moments, caravan was clean and lovely as usual, always responds quick, see you again next year hopefully x

We loved the house and Drymen. The added bonus of the use of the pool, sauna and jacuzzi was brilliant. The house was comfortable and homely. Drymen was a lovely little village with lovely pubs, cafes and walks. Along the road there was a beautiful view out over Loch Lomond. I would really recommend. Jim was super helpful and let us in a little bit early, thank you so much.

Extremely peaceful and beautiful location, 30 mins from Oban. Magic views from the living room (lake, mountains, sheep everywhere). A lot of space for 4 adults + 2 kids in the house. A lot of facilities near the house including swimming pool. Clean and comfortable beds. Moved two single beds and provided baby cot as we requested. It was a bit difficult to find the house as we arrived late at night but no big deal. Highly recommended!

This place was perfect! I highly recommend! Amazing views and close to everything. I loved being able to have pubs and restaurants just a few steps away. The grocery store was very convenient as well. The place was clean and had everything I needed. I will definitely be back next year. Stephen responds quickly with any questions.

my friends and i had the most wonderful stay at springvale. everything was as beautiful as the pictures and cardross was a perfect idyllic scottish village. the kitchens were very well stocked and we enjoyed several homemade sweet treats together in the lovely and warm conservatory. would highly recommend!!

Dawn’s place is lovely and homely. With the added bonus of stunning views out to the Clyde and mountains from the living area and terrace area. We really enjoyed our stay. Dawn was very helpful and kept in touch to make sure everything was ok for us. We would definitely visit again.

The flat was very clean and comfortable. Both the neighbourhood and the apartment itself were very quiet. About five minutes walking distance to town centre, bus station or train station. Very convenient! We were pleasantly surprised by the little extras, such as a few snacks, coffee etc. Will very happily stay there again.

What a wee gem! A well equipped flat, decorated to a high standard with a brilliant view from the wee balcony from the living area. Scottish ‘welcome nibbles’ on arrival Comfy beds Right on the Main Street with a Bus stop right at the door so a perfect base for connectivity for ferries to Bute, Cumbrae and Kilcreggan. Good choice of eateries on the Main Street The binoculars for guests use was a nice touch, especially with all the boats, ferries, cruise ships etc passing by. Very relaxing environment AND, having the heated open air swimming pool just 5 minutes away was the icing on the cake. Highly recommended

We had a lovely break at the caravan, so peaceful. So lucky with the weather and the views from were amazing, could sit for ages watching what was happening on the water and looking over to Dunoon. Great to see the Waverley and cruise ship pass by.

Lovely place great stay

Initially the coach house seemed small but it is anything but small. Split level but all the rooms were big, spacious, very clean and in period with the property. We loved the location as we explored the area, took the ferry to visit Dunoon, explore Glasgow but also travel a little further afield (day trip to Sterling). Skelmorlie may appear out of the way but treat it as your gateway to Scotland and you will not be disappointed. From the initial booking Marc was quick with instructions, details etc and was very responsive to the few questions I had. There was always a nice surprise and Wemyss Bay railway station (14 min walk away) with art deco looks, bookshop, art gallery and its little pub was an absolute delight. I would hope to visit again in the future. This is a 5 star property in a great location and I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of visiting Scotland.
