Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Inverclyde

You absolutely have to choose Claire’s place! Beautiful house with breathtaking views from the bedroom and lounge. Very responsive, helpful & generous. Beautiful town and easily accessible from the accommodation. Super comfortable beds & very spacious house throughout: bedrooms, lounge, bathroom & kitchen. When we come back to Scotland from Australia we will make the trip back to Claire’s!

The house was booked for 12 friends, we all had a great stay. The garden was beautiful and we spent most time outside due to the beautiful weather. The rooms were all great sizes and were very clean on arrival. The space in the house was great for the event, and everyone in the party felt so at home in the house. The kitchen was spacious and had everything that you would need. Bathrooms were well kept, and the hosts had left plenty of towels for hotub. The games room was perfect for evening entertainment and we had great laughs in there during our stay. The house location is a 5 min drive from the ferry terminal and 5 min drive into dunoon town. Would highly recommend booking this for a weekend away!

Wow! Wow! Wow! We were totally blown away by how amazing this place is. What a beautiful, characterful home. Very easy space to relax in, with everything you need and more. Stunning location. Sitting in the window or on the front porch the views were mesmerising. Half an hour to Loch Lomond and The Cobbler. Discovered the sailing club across the road and watched sailing races while enjoying a G&T. Brian the host is so helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again when we visit this part of Scotland. Thank you for a wonderful trip.

We were impressed by the photos on the website but the cottage was even more impressive than the pictures suggested. A spotlessly clean cottage, warm and welcoming, with lots of spaces to relax from the comfortable bedroom, spacious lounge, dining kitchen, cosy nook, and porch area at the back of the property. The garden was magical too, and I found myself drawn to wander around it, seeing something new each time. We were VERY lucky with the weather & the lower patio area was a fabulous suntrap! We have a friend who lives on Bute and when we come back we will definitely look to book Hawthorn Cottage. Thank you Rosemary, we had a wonderful stay.

Great place to stay in Largs. Peaceful and everything walkable. Very well maintained and clean. Lovely views.

Superb property. The house was very comfortable with a very well equipped kitchen. Bedrooms all a good size and plenty of living space. The views across the loch are amazing. The kids loved playing hide and seek in the large garden, which is very private and not overlooked. We should have made more of the outside patio with the well appointed garden furniture. Lynn the host sent us really useful info about things to do and places to eat in the area. We did quite a few and they were all great recommendations. She also responded to queries about activities really quickly and checked in to make sure everything about our stay was going ok. Location is really good. Easy access to nearby Rhu and Helensburgh. We found it a good base from which venture out for a range of activities and big enough to spend time in the garden and house - and enjoy the views. A great property and brilliant host. We would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Balmory Stables. A beautiful property in a peaceful location with all the amenities you need. We were so lucky to have a week of non-stop sunshine and the garden was the perfect place to soak that up from morning to late evening. Less than a 10 minute drive to Rothesay with a great selection of shops and restaurants.

We had a lovely stay in this cosy, wee cottage that had everything we needed. Irene was very friendly and helpful and quick to answer any questions we had. We would be happy to return.

Went there for a weekend on motorcycle. Great place, safe parking for motorcycle, Perfectly clean property, fully equipped. on arrival there was waiting for me bottle of milk, butter, fresh eggs from Frances hens! so you can imagine that my breakfasts were eggcellent! thank you very much Frances! I highly recommend this place.

We loved this flat. With beautiful view over the Clyde. Everything we needed. Nice and quiet. Close to the Kilcreggan ferry. Very helpful and friendly host. We have already rebooked!!

The flat is beautiful and spotless. plenty of atractions in a close proximity, lovely view from the bedroom window. Suz is a great host, very proactive, everything went really smoothly.

Great apartment with everything you need. location is a good base to go and come as you please. Ample car parks and an accommodating host. Thank you Brain, all was nay bother.

Highly enjoyable, but ideally it would have received 4.5 stars. The negative aspect of this apartment was the rather noisy boiler situated in the second bedroom.

A fantastic stay had by two families with young children and dogs. A wonderful property in the most amazing location. We had everything in the house we needed and the kayaks and beach access down the hill was fantastic too. Great communication and information from the host. Thank you.

We stayed as a group of 8 and could not rate our stay high enough! The area was stunning and private, the villa was spacious and comfortable and our host was attentive for the entire duration of the stay. We cannot wait to book our next stay and hope to make it an annual trip! 12 out of 10!

I would be hard pressed to remember a better equipped house. the hosts had literally thought of everything-from crabbing buckets to pizza cutters. on top of this of this to house was absolutely pristine and everything was very new and extremely well laid out and decorated. this is a fantastic base for up to two families to explore the local area. two minutes from the beach and from the local hotel. can't recommend it highly enough!

Fantastic house - we had a group of us stay over new year and it was perfect. Huge social areas with a perfect kitchen and dining area for entertaining. Alan was so helpful. Would recommend!

Angus and Anne were the perfect hosts the house was beautiful with a real homely vibe. Everything had been thought of, we were all so comfortable and loved every second of our time there. Definitely worth a 5star review.

We were a family of 11 and 3 dogs and we were blown away by the villa. When we got inside we were walking from room to room saying wow at every new room. We cannot praise Nicola and James enough for their communication throughout keeping us informed. Everything was just perfect 👌 the extension with the dining room with the long table was our favourite room and the sofa positioned so you could look out over the loch was everyone’s favourite place to be ❤️ The villa is very well stocked with everything you could need and more. I had read about the welcome pack but didn’t dream it would be as lovely as it was (sadly it’s all gone now!) the hot tub was very welcome after a busy day. The scenery in Scotland is stunning. Three of our party climbed Ben Nevis and the drive to Fort William must be one of the most beautiful in Scotland/UK. We had a fantastic stay at this Air BnB – it truly felt like a home away from home. The house is beautiful, warm, and welcoming, with all the thoughtful touches that make a stay extra comfortable. The hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive, making everything seamless from start to finish. The location is perfect – nestled in a peaceful area but just a quick hop onto the motorway, giving you easy access to both Glasgow and Edinburgh.
