Family-friendly holiday rentals in Inver Grove Heights

We have just had two wonderful weeks in this exceptional apartment. From the moment we opened the door it felt like home. Colleen and Aaron have gone above and beyond to make this such a comfortable, stylish and welcoming space and we couldn’t have chosen a better location for our holiday. As soon as we booked, we had such friendly messages from them and this continued during the time we were there. They are perfect hosts and definitely deserve five plus stars! We hope to return next year and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting accommodation in Minneapolis.

Great place. Eric had wonderful recommendations for walkable restaurants and other things to do in the area. The yard and garage area were a hit. Very friendly host.

Your place was a perfect fit for our weekend plans! We could stay and relax, but also did activities in the Cities due to close proximity. Perfect fit and place to allow our fur baby to come along! THANK YOU!

It was even nicer than the photos, with a beautiful back yard, fun pool table, very clean. Jill was very responsive.

This is the perfect space for hosting large groups! The basement “suite” area is cozy and perfect for a small family. The upstairs has plenty of beds and space for more people. The fire pit, hot tub, sauna, outdoor table, and sunroom are exactly what you need to entertain while staying at the Airbnb. The one and only amenity missing is a living room area large enough to seat the max amount of guests. But this is basically a nonissue unless you plan on having a big movie night. Overall I was very pleased with the home and, at this price point, would recommend to it anyone looking for a large group vacation to the cities!

This well-equipped home is the perfect base for exploring Minneapolis. It's convenient to lots of activities and restaurants, but a tranquil spot to relax with plenty of space both inside and outside. Highly recommend.

The hosts, Katie and Curt, were very friendly and responsive. The hot tub on the patio was a big bonus. I also enjoyed relaxing in the hammock and watching the trolley go by through the woods ($3 to take the short historic ride). And just a few minutes to walk to Lake Harriet pavilion to take in some live music or walk around the lake. I’m excited to come back sometime for this relaxing get-away!

Amy Jo was a wonderful host and we felt right at home! The home was spacious and clean, the bed was comfy, and my little one had a blast playing with the toys and watching the ducks on the pond. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Very cute and peaceful place. It was very nice inside and easy to get to. If you have kids or pets it's the perfect little Airbnb. it has a very large backyard with a secure fence. It even has a swing set. Our dogs loved running around.

I stayed the weekend with my 10 year old son. We were very happy, we love the outdoors and nature and that's exactly what this place has to offer. It was very peaceful and despite being in the midst of a heat advisory (🤣) the place was very comfortable and cool. Theres was very kind throughout our whole stay and made us feel very welcome. And her dog Willow was such a delight. My son made quick friends and was sad to leave her on check out day. 😊 If you enjoy the outdoors, nature or just being away from the busy city- I recommend this place for sure! The scenery was beautiful. Like being in a garden.

Josh was a wonderful host. Very responsive and helpful. The location was easy to find, and the instructions were very clear. The backyard was awesome as well, lots of bunnies and chipmunks roaming about, and very peaceful. The apartment was very cool with lots of interesting art, with a comfortable bed and a nice foldout couch. Josh even dropped off some new coffee for us. Wonderful experience with nice people and a great spot.

The place was solid. We loved the location and loved that we could bring our doggies along w us. The kitchen pretty much had everything you could need, and the bathroom was even stocked with sanitary supplies, which I thought was a sweet touch. The house is wacky, but in a cool good way. I’d be back for sure.

The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. From the warm welcome at check-in to the thoughtful recommendations for local attractions, everything was perfect. Highly recommended! The cleanliness was impeccable. Every corner of the room was spotless, and the amenities were well-maintained. It felt like a home away from home. Situated in the heart of the city, this place made it easy to explore everything nearby. Restaurants, shops, and public transport were all within walking distance. Couldn’t ask for a better location! The property has such a relaxing vibe. The interior design is modern yet cozy, and the outdoor seating area was a great spot to unwind after a long day. Will definitely stay here again! This place offers excellent amenities at an affordable price. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations for the cost.

Very responsive host. Comfortable and convenient home in a nice neighborhood. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. As someone who has lived in both Minneapolis and St. Paul, I love this location. 15-20 mins to pretty much anywhere you want to go and very close to Highland neighborhood in St. Paul, which means you are close to some shopping and restaurants. Mississippi Blvd has sidewalks within a block and a half of this home and it’s very close to Hidden Falls Park. Shower is awesome with great water pressure. Water does get scalding hot, so be aware of that. More of an awareness thing than complaint as there is nice hot water. Convenient closest with hangers, soaps in shower, etc. We would stay again.

Fantastic stay. The loft is exactly as described. It is charming, comfortable, and has everything you would need, including a fully-stocked kitchen. The layout is great and it’s nicely decorated. The only thing better than the loft itself is the location! Walkable to the Lake and everything in Linden Hills. It was an easy drive to get anywhere else, but I loved the spots in the neighborhood so much that I wasn’t inclined to go far. Sebastian Joe’s (for coffee/scones and ice cream), Martina, and Picnic were favorites. I went to the lake to walk as often as possible, and it was an easy hop across the street. The hosts were super responsive and you can tell they’ve put a lot of thought into the space. I would go back again in a heartbeat, and hope to have the chance to!

Cozy and charming lower level. Beautiful view of the lake - including swans - with a path down the hill to the dock! Easy to get to the highway to go wherever we wanted to. Great recommendations for places to go and to eat.

Walking into this adorable cottage and being welcomed by a most pleasant scent and soft music in the background was the beginning of a perfect long weekend at Matthew's place. This home is absolutely immaculate and so comfortable. Actually this is the nicest home we've stayed in with Airbnb. The personal touches are evident in every room and very much appreciated! We visit our son in North Hudson a couple of times a year and this will definitely be our 'go to' place when planning our trips. Trust me, you won't be disappointed staying in Matthew's cottage.

Nathan was a great and communicative host. The apartment was beautiful and cozy and in a very quaint setting.

This was our second stay at this listing and like the first, everything was wonderful. There was an issue with the TV that Kim told us about when we arrived, and new TV was installed. Kim was always responsive to questions and concerns. Her place was spotless, the fridge was stocked with basic necessities when we arrived, and Kim included a really sweet Christmas gift for our daughter. We have absolutely loved staying there both times, and I hope we can stay there again in the future. Thank you, Kim!

Beautiful bungalow in a quiet, residential area of Minneapolis. It was a relaxing spot to return to after a busy day in the city. We also enjoyed how close the location is to the restaurants and shops at 50th and France.

Enjoyed our stay! Cozy and convenient for our family (my parents, my husband and myself) while in Minneapolis for our son’s graduation. Easy access to MSP Airport to pick up/drop off family, good restaurants nearby and easy to get to UMN campus area. The space was clean and comfortable. The backyard would have been wonderful to hangout in if the weather had cooperated. May in the Midwest is always an adventure. The neighborhood is beautiful!
