Family-friendly holiday rentals in Innerleithen

We stayed at the "Unique, Off- Grid Beehive Pod at Westcote Glamping" for just one night whilst attending a wedding up north, but wish we had stayed for longer! It was a lovely small, picturesque setting facing a lovely view and field of sheep. Really nice little hut to spend the night in and BBQ and firepit facilities all provided which made our 'glamping' experience super easy- we just arrived with our food and our PJs and had a great time.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was immaculate which made it comfortable to relax. The hot tub was a highlight for the whole family. The water was sparkling clean. The location was picturesque & convenient. We had a great time cycling & visiting local attractions.

Enjoyed our stay at such a creative and beautiful airbnb. It was a new experiencefor us staying in the countryside enjoying the sunset, BBQ, bathtub and feeding the animals. Sandy was a great host. She showed us around and helped us alot with our transportation. Much appreciation.

We stayed for a couple of nights to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday with our 2yr old and 11 yr old. We all had a fantastic time and felt extremely relaxed. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful and lots of little walks to explore from the cabin. On the first evening we arrived we were greeted kindly by Maggie's son who told us about the local area and made us feel at home. The wood burning hot tub was preheated and ready for us to get in (lots of wood provided )The view from the cabin was amazing and within 5 minutes we saw multiple hares and a deer. We then enjoyed a relaxing evening in the hot tub looking at the stars and saw a barn owl from the woods flying over us. The next day we enjoyed playing at the tennis courts provided, enjoyed a local walk to the river and the hosts son introduced us to their "teddy bear" lambs. The next morning we visited a local cafe and play area recommended by the Maggie which was fantastic. Best Airbnb stay we've ever stayed at!

We were cycling in the borders, this was a great stop over, brilliant, had everything we needed, very comfortable, couldn’t want more.

The Kennels is a gem in potention. It easily could've been an inspiration for some of Terry Pratchett's Discworld books. Because the cottage has this special dated atmosphere... Perfect beds gave us a great night's sleep. We enjoyed the lovely garden with rare flowers and over 20 sorts of birds. For bikers: it's situated close to mountainbike tracks. Take the slow road and you will be treated to beautiful views. Ollie was very kind to allow us a late check out and provided us new pans.

We had a fantastic stay at Jane’s cottage. The kids loved the hot tub in particular and our evenings were very cosy in front of the wood fired stove.

What a gem. Situated in the heart of Scottish Borders within walking distance to Melrose with its delightful shops and several restaurants. Peaceful, private with fabulous views to the surrounding countryside. Virginia’s caravan was immaculate on our arrival. All bedding, towels and other linens were clean and fresh. The kitchen was packed with all electrical items you could require, glasses, cutlery, crockery, pots and a gas hob, grill and oven. The shower was spacious, powerful and as hot as you could want. Separate toilet - again immaculate. The bed was really comfy and again fresh and clean. Electricity was paid for by pound coins into a meter. A pound went a long way. Virginia communicated clearly and promptly with us from date of booking. We were sorry that we did not get to meet her in person due to a very early morning departure. When we return to Scottish Borders we will be hoping to stay in the caravan again - that’s how brilliant it was. Thank you Virginia.

Kirsty greeted us upon arrival and was very friendly and very helpful. The coach house was in a lovely private setting with some lovely grounds around it, Kirsty gave us some very useful information regarding our trip to Edinburgh the following day, the place was better than the pictures made it look and very comfortable. We have already said this will be a place we will use again for future trips to Scotland

Great location as 2 min walk to all amenities. Lovely wee house which was lovely and clean with everything you would need for a self catering stay .

The house is spacious and well-furnished, providing everything you need for a comfortable stay. Ronnie is a friendly and helpful host who responded quickly to our inquiries. He is also very generous, offering plenty of biscuits, cereal, tea, and coffee. Additionally, he kindly returned an ear pod that we accidentally left behind after checkout. We highly recommend spending time at his house when you visit Edinburgh.

We, a family of five, enjoyed wonderful four nights in the lovely House on the Hill which was exactly as described. A great plus was the tennis court, that was very well received by our children. Walking the dog was a great experience. We used the farm cottage to explore Scottish Borders, Northumberland and of course Edinburgh. We would certainly come back and highly recommend this lovely place!

Can't recommend Mrs Moll's cottage highly enough! It was full 9f character, so comfortable, homely and spotlessly clean . All equipment, crockery, utensils etc were also spotless. Our hosts were very responsive prior to our stay and we received a lovely friendly welcome. All instruction were clear for access & checkout with a folder detailing additional information. Being part of the adjacent farm we had the chance to watch the cows and day old calfs being moved which was so special. Overall it was a fantastic break in a beautiful cottage - thankyou! x

The pictures genuinely do not do this place justice, the apartment was so stunning we didn’t want to leave Grounds are gorgeous and lots of wildlife around, we didn’t do any activities but there’s lots to do at the castle If you’re wanting to eat out in the local town book ahead as the restaurants fill up very quickly

The perfect rural setting for 2 people. At first, the area takes your breath away and then it allows you to relax. The Green House is well thought out and has everything you need for your stay. It is delightful to sit on the patio watching the chickens and sheep or listen to the rain. Lots of hiking in the area and sporting clays are also nearby. The local pub is open for dinner every night and lunch on weekends. You are on your own for breakfast

Myself and 6 friends had the most wonderful stay at Eleanor's. We were just absolutely over the moon upon arrival, the cottage itself was over and above expectations, being very spacious yet cozy with impressively well stocked kitchen utensils, clean crisp and comfy bedding, plenty of lovely light and well working showers and loos. The location itself was just magical being slightly tucked away outside the village with access to many lovely wee walks as well as great local pubs and a lovely coffee shop in Hawick just down the road. An incredible wee place especially when you consider the price. We really do hope to visit again in future.

If you are a mountain biker looking for accommodation, Graham’s place is the best choice there is. Located right in the centre of Innerleithen, you can ride straight out the front door and enjoy the trails. The workshop comes with tools, cleaning equipment and locks that makes life so easy after a long day’s riding. The living spaces are clean, tidy and really comfortable. It really can’t be beaten.

This is a stunning, peaceful and really lovely place to stay. Set in beautiful surroundings with all that the Borders has to offer in terms of scenery and nature and yet close to the nearby towns with great pubs, cafes, restaurants, shops and people. The annex is clean, welcoming, well equipped, comfortable and homely with everything you could need...a home away from home. Nice little touches like fresh flowers, a bottle of wine, tea and coffee await you. Harry was really responsive, friendly and helpful with recommendations and advice. We especially loved the conservatory and private garden. Thank you very much for a fabulous stay.

Great short stay at Claire's place. Beautiful building in a lovely setting. Everything just as per the photos and description. Would definitely stay again.

How lucky we were to stay at River View! Willie, the host has worked hard to make the accommodation a pleasure to stay in. From the Welcome pack to the high level of equipment and the speed of response to our queries it was plain that Willie really wanted us to enjoy our stay. The icing on the cake was that on our leaving day Willie twice went out of his way to let us stay a little later than we should, which turned out to be a godsend. Thanks a lot Willie, I really hope we can return.

A wonderful stay at the cottage as a family. We felt right at home and enjoyed lovely wintery walks by the river. The space is beautiful and cosy. We loved having the fire on, cooking in the lovely kitchen and exploring Peebles! Thanks for a lovely stay.
