Apartment holiday rentals in Illinois

This is a charming and very comfortable unit. All the amenities are thoughtful and more generous than most other AirBNBs that I’ve stayed. We found the location very convenient to family and Northwestern U, and even getting downtown. The unit was spotless, clean and organized. And exceeded our expectations. Being able to park in the garage was a huge benefit for us. We had a busy schedule with leaving in the morning and not getting back until later evening. It was so nice not to have to search for street parking and not have that worry. We very much enjoyed our stay. This will be our “place” when we return. Elizabeth

Jim was a fantastic host. Very responsive and timely in his communications and support for our needs during our stay in their place. Their home was comfortable and well appointed with additional amenities you don't often see in AirBnB spaces, like N'espresso appliances and supplies. We would definitely consider repeat visits! Oh. My. Gosh. I love finding old buildings that have been renovated for rentals. I have never been so jazzed as when I stepped into Marcia's space, and I was pulled back to the 1920's. Beautiful renovation, but equally beautiful and impressive was the respect and admiration the hosts display for the past, and for the history of this amazing building. Such an inspiration! This place should be a destination for anyone visiting the Springfield area. Super WOWED!!

Just wonderful. That was one of the most beautiful accommodations I've ever been to. The apartment is totally lovingly furnished. Everything was super clean and tidy. There are even toothbrushes, toothpaste and a sleeping mask, if you need them. The kitchen is also super equipped with everything you need. The short walk to the metro was also very convenient. We would definitely come back.

Hubby said this was the first Airbnb he loved. Grandchildren nearby so hopefully it will be available when we visit. Absolutely wonderful.

Truly a five star experience. The nicest furnished Airbnb we have stayed in and we have over 30 rentals for comparison. The only thing that keeps it from being the nicest overall is we have stayed at places that had spectacular views and this was mostly rooftops. Service at the Walton was top notch.

My husband and I had an incredible time during our stay in The Rock Cottage. I reserved the place as a getaway for my husband’s birthday, and Amy and Laura made the visit particularly lovely. We loved the privacy of the fire pit after hiking and exploring all day, and walking around town was beyond easy given the location of the place. And for moments needing a bit of tech, the WiFi was flawless and we had no problem accessing streaming services. Without a doubt, we recommend this place for anyone looking to slow down and enjoy greenery.

This apartment was the cutest, coziest place! It looked just like the pictures and was extremely clean and comfortable. The way this home was remodeled is like a modern farmhouse and very tastefully decorated. The size was just right for my husband and me, and the location was perfect for everything we needed to do on this trip. Suzanne and Andy were great hosts who thought of just about everything you would need. They were extremely responsive and provided great instructions for check-in and check out; literally everything was exactly as the instructions stated. They also didn't overburden us with a laundry list of rules. If we ever have a need to stay in that area in the future, we would definitely check Kidahl House first. Rocio’s place was absolutely perfect! The space was spotless, beautifully updated, and had so many thoughtful touches that made it feel warm and welcoming. It was easy to find and check-in was a breeze. The location is close to everything, but still peaceful and quiet—perfect for relaxing. The fenced backyard was a great bonus for privacy. The hosts were very responsive and clearly care about their guests’ comfort.

Jones home was immaculate and very cozy and comfortable. it was very close to the Illinois Beach State Park on Lake Michigan which is why we were in the area. highly recommend.

We came for our daughter’s graduation and stayed a few extra days to tour the city. This place was perfectly located for both occasions. It was much more spacious than we expected, and everything was very clean. We especially appreciated the fresh towels and beddings. Our only wish is that the beds were a bit larger, especially the double bed, which would be more comfortable for a couple if it were at least a queen size. That said, the beds were very comfortable. Overall, we had a wonderful stay - definitely one of our best Airbnb experiences!

SPECTACULAR!! This space is how you should visit Chicago. Breath taking views from this 33rd floor luxury penthouse apartment lives up to the hype. Our family of six were extremely comfortable in this 3 bedroom/3 bath unit. And for a person that likes cooking, the kitchen is spacious. Don’t pass on seeing Chicago from the views in this beautiful apartment.

Sentral worked great for us going to a graduation for a long weekend. Unit is exactly as described, modern, and clean. Kitchen utensils are reasonable while shelves and refrig are empty save for some coffee so if going to cook/eat be sure to bring everything such as butter, spices, etc. - a Trader Joes is 3 blocks away. Price is not cheap but is very convenient and easy so on balance okay for us. Front desk is very helpful and cheerful.

Stay was great and Mariam was a super host. The space was exactly as pictured and all the games were a blast. Miriam even checked in a couple times to make sure we had everything we need and that we were having a good time. For sure would stay here again.

This was a wonderful, relaxing, beautiful place to stay! It is located near lots of shops and place was very clean. it had all the amenities needed. Would love to have the chance to stay here again
